I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve.

The people at the Phoenix Center aren't bad at all in my opinion. I came there in a really bad way, out of the blue, no referral, unannounced, no appointment, no warning, and they still helped me. I wasn't judged, rushed, or turned away for some stupid reason or technicality. They listened and after hearing me out tested me then they set me up with Dr. Dittemore. She was great. I was questionable about her at first, I don't trust doctors at all, period, but I wound up really liking her. When I eventually got back some insurance they (the Phoenix Center) didn't accept that type I had. Saddens me because they already knew me and I would have to start all over again somewhere else. They should get Dr. Dittemore back at this location. The place was always clean, well lit, and comfortable for the most part. Making appointments is painless and easy. They are on point when it comes to that. The security guard (female, early morning) is a bit abrasive to put it nicely, and a stickler for the time to be certain. Will NOT open that door 1 sec early. The only negative thing about the place would be that some of the the girls up front are a bit snobbish. And a few times they acted like I was bothering them, but that's neither here nor there. Maybe they had a bad day who knows. It's the quality of care received that counts.

I was very satisfied with everlast recovery, there much different from other facilities such as not feeling like a hospital setting or feeling like a 5150 facility. Everlast treated me like family and so did the rest of the patients in there. Everlast gave me the tools to cope with my struggles of addiction and showed me how the sober life is the better life. I spent 30 days at the Turrell house, and although it was my first time in treatment I believe I was meant to come to this place specifically. They did such a wonderful job welcoming me, the staff and residents really helped me settle in to the routines of the program. I loved every single group session we did throughout my stay, and i loved all of the outside meetings we went to every week, I learned so much, and I actually found my sponsor because of this program. They really care about every client individually and are very attentive to specific needs. I loved working with Katie as my case manager, she did an amazing job. I came here for courtesy dose in August and again in November. They are great there! If I move out here this is the clinic I definitely would go here.The price for just 7 days of methadone was $140!! This is the 2 nd time I paid this price for a week. We don’t have much money we are trying to get our lives back and this is a life or death medication for us.
The methadone is way overpriced here, while it is not an expensive drug from the pharmacy.
