I spent 30 days at the Turrell house, and although it was my first time in treatment I believe I was meant to come to this place specifically. They did such a wonderful job welcoming me, the staff and residents really helped me settle in to the routines of the program. I loved every single group session we did throughout my stay, and i loved all of the outside meetings we went to every week, I learned so much, and I actually found my sponsor because of this program. They really care about every client individually and are very attentive to specific needs. I loved working with Katie as my case manager, she did an amazing job. Just celebrated 8 years sobriety! This place saved my life. They are very well organized and understand treatment and recovery. I wasn't necessarily very open-minded in the beginning but I'm so glad I didn't quit and leave not everybody stays sober and I understand that and this place doesn't guarantee anything however it is a beginning and for me it was pivotal. Every day is a new day to embrace change. I learned that from MFI.
I am forever grateful! Stay connected to the people in recovery and more importantly be available and responsible for people that need the help and you can keep your recovery. First thing you put in front of your sobriety is the second thing you will lose.

Pros: Caring Staff, Balanced Groups, Decent Food as far as rehabs go. Visits are allowed on weekends after 7 days.
Cons: Occasionally some clients that need special mental needs met slip in the cracks and it is difficult to replace them where they need to be.
It seems like corporate has the budget in too high of a chokehold, I can't imagine 50+ men at a rehab do not facilitate a higher budget than what is currently allocated. Clients shouldn't be able to feel this.
If you are not keen on a lot of men around you, consider other options with smaller populations. If you are heading here without a choice, talk to your counselor about any accommodations.
If you are looking to get sober, this is a place that runs a dog through the facility and tries to take measures to better facilitate it to those that want to make a serious change for their lives. If you have derailed your life and hit rock bottom, got felonies, or you just got out of prison and have conditions, this is definitely a good spot to put your life back on track. If you are going to rehab for the right reasons, you will not have an issue with 90% of the staff. Most treatment options felt like just like they were farming us for the money, this was NOT one of those facilities.
Even if you don't know where you are, give this a shot. I'm glad I did!

I was really nervous coming into 10 ache ranch. I left my city, Chicago, and decided to give myself another chance at living a healthier/better life. The staff and current residents were quick to make me feel comfortable, safe.. and made me believe that everything is going to be alright. Soon, I was looking at another family I didn’t know I was missing. This program truly helped me in so many ways. From building a routine, coping… to finding myself just enough to give me hope and keep going. I can go on and on, but really all I have left to say is this program helped me mold back into the person I thought was long gone… 10 aches saved me.. of course I’m still not perfect.. I still have a lot of learning and growing to do (don’t we all? Nobody’s perfect!) but like Angela (our group director!) would say “we can only give you the tools it’s up to YOU to decide what to do with them”. If you’re looking for a sign THIS is your sign. I had a wonderful, eye-opening experience here. The facility is beautiful and very comfortable. All meals are delicious and there is a variety of snacks and drinks. I went on a variety of outings such as hiking, manicure and pedicure, bowling, and going to the beach. The staff is amazing and a total delight to be around. They all have uplifting messages and my path was tailored to my personal my recovery. I’ve also made lifelong friendships. Upon leaving, I have the most confidence I’ve ever had in my recovery! I look forward to living my life in sobriety and I accredit this facility for giving me the tools, confidence and motivation to do so! I definitely recommend coming here for anyone who is serious about recovery!

I was here for treatment for 8 months and I had an addiction to fentanyl and bipolar disorders . Another rehab didn’t want to keep me because of my kidney failure due to drug use and Angelika welcomed me with open arms !! Beautiful spirited woman !! She goes above and beyond for her clients and treat you like family !! This rehab is the only reason I got sober ! They let you go at your own pace and won’t be quick to kick you out !! Nice food , nice outtings !! She takes very good care of us !! Don’t think twice about coming it doesn’t feel like a facility or hospital and you get to keep your phone !! Nice bedrooms , big beds , your own bathroom and my favorite No ROOM Mates ! And btw Chris the Manager is awesome!!! The only people that had problems with him were the ones that weren’t serious about the sobriety!! He was one of my favorites !

MFI Outpatient and Medical saved my life! I came in through the Cares Line right off the streets of Lake Elsinore and was able to connect with MFI at the sober living, IOP and MAT services stage after 93 days of treatment at a different facility. I was welcomed and encouraged and set right in the middle of their Outpatient program. I was given Case Mgr Natalie, Group facilitator Jessica, House Mgr Alex and then BJ and her awesome team in Medical. I was truly set up for success! I felt thoroughly cared for, loved and spoiled. I will never forget my time at MFI! I’m 4 years clean and sober in June. I was with them for 2 years and they are really awesome. DR.RUTH is a very caring person and understands what your going through and wants to help you. As for the team Once you get to know the girls in the front they are so cool and very helpful. I had 3 counselors my first counselor I did have a problem with, but I got transfer to another counselor which was the supervisor and she was one of the best ones I had and Mike he is another counselor that is awesome. Kim is another supervisor for the front office and she is amazing. I am very happy to get to know everyone there.

I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve.

I love MFI Recovery. From the moment I started this program it has been nothing but a blessing.
The staff there has been so supportive ,caring, and motivating. Their ability to cater to each of the individual needs of all the people that attend classes there is incredible.
Tho I am not blood related to anyone there, I feel as tho I am part of a family that loves and respects me and that truly cares about my success in overcoming my addiction.
I would recommend that anyone that is feeling alone or abandoned in their addiction go in to MFI on Tuesday and talk to Jessica.
She is so kind and very efficient during the intake process. Once your paperwork is complete and you are assigned a counselor you will see what a great place it is and everyday will be better then the day before.
I am so grateful that I decided to enroll here.,

I just wanted to adjust my rating of this place the Blaine Street adult clinic has been instrumental and influential in my life so of course it deserves five stars all of the people there in the clinicians and therapists are awesome. They offer multiple groups and tomorrow even though having pizza you know but I've also found in order to make any type of recovery or progress you have to find someone to hold you accountable you have to actually be accountable to yourself if you hold yourself accountable you can always see improvement but you won't actually make improvement and tell you have someone hold you accountable. Often times I've blamed others for not seeing the perception of things are potential in them and also once happiness can only be determined by one's self if you respond to another's actions with happiness or sadness they are in control of your emotions that would be insane so that's one good thing I've learned and also if you put in the time and the work and hold yourself accountable you always make improvements hope it's the first time also you should check out the groups and I don't know if I can actually mention any of the therapist my hand but they're all awesome everyone knows that thank you Blaine clinic and I'm sorry that I've always been in pain

Great place , I really received a lot of help with my mental health and substance abuse issues! The group therapy was something I really needed the most. I had been to a few programs out here and this place by far was the best .The therapist is amazing and the group facilitator really cared about me as an individual!! I would recommend this place to any one who is struggling .
