7.77 / 10 | Mindful BODY’s Recovery is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab in Oceanside, California, offering personalized, evidence based care for adults and teens navigating addiction, mental health concerns and co-occurring disorders. Located on Pier View Way, the program provides Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am so blessed to be able to experience such an amazing place and people. I called and spoke with Elliot. He made the intake process easy for me. Even throughout my time there, he was on top of his game with my paperwork and answered all my question regarding insurnace and EDD. Angel had me look at the world from a different view which helped me gain insight into what I had control of. I plan on continuing to see her after I leave. Nicolas was amazing. He did an amazing job facilitating groups and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for everything. If anyone is looking for a place to find help, this is the place. Look no further than Mindful.

Kick ass, down to earth, mind , body and spiritual experience. Small program but individualized for personal growth.
My trip there was some what short due to needing a higher level of care....but I will return for PHP and IOP.
Elliot: Right from the first phone call, Elliot clearly articulated the therapeutic approach, making me feel confident. He emphasized both group and individual therapy, which was exactly what I needed.
Nicholas: As a facilitator, psychologist, guru, and teacher led with experience . Nicholas felt like a guide, he helped me tune into my inner self, enabling me to make better decisions. His presence was transformative.
Angel: Angel, my therapist, didn’t give me answers, she guided me inward. Her support was constant, and she advocated for my transition to a higher level of care.
Megan: The bodybuilding doctor next door, Megan, got me moving! I wasn’t one for working out, but her energy and care had me feeling so good, I even attempted to give back by cleaning the windows. Lol I actually ruined the sticker with her logo and she took it with a grain of salt. I will replace it . (^-^)
Every interaction was tailored, making this program truly special. I have learned so much and they allowed me to grow towards the goals I've wanted to have for years.
Not at all the sit and be bored type of atmosphere. More like sit, share, breath, learn , walk, have fun, place to cry, safe place to be, and a spot where I got totally honest for the first time in many moons. I strive to be better by their guidance and compationate ways they have taught me what to do.

I recently graduated from West Coast Recovery Center, and I’m incredibly grateful for my experience there. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported by staff who genuinely cared about my recovery and well-being. They created a safe, encouraging environment where I could focus on healing, learn healthier coping skills, and grow as a person.
Recovery isn’t easy, but the therapists, counselors, and staff were there every step of the way with compassion, guidance, and accountability. I also met amazing people who reminded me that I wasn’t alone in my journey.
Today I’m leaving stronger, more hopeful, and with the tools I need to continue building a healthy, sober life. Thank you, West Coast Recovery Center, for believing in me and helping me rediscover myself. I’ll always be grateful for the impact you’ve had on my life, and I highly recommend this program to anyone ready to make a positive change. West coast is a one of a kind experience! Shoutout to Renzo my case manager ( and Jeremy the other case manager for just being cool) and Clarissa my therapist for being my amazing team who never gave up on me and always pushed me to be the best version of myself, I’ll forever hold a special place in my heart for this center.

This place is predatory, as in they are money hungry and prey on addicts under the guise of helping them. They are only friendly to you when you are paying them; anytime after that, they will treat you with disrespect and intimidation. They use outdated statistical information and attempt to brainwash you into being dependent on them. While there is a lot of useful information and services they can direct you toward, this third party company is only interested in taking your money and treating you as less-than-human.
In my experience, Dale Walters, the in-take coordinator and class teacher, was only friendly toward me when I was paying him money for the program. Afterward, he treated me with disrespect by insulting me in front of the rest of the class, talking to me as if I were five years old and consistently disregarding my personal space by knocking over my water bottle and saying, "oh, I don't care about anything beneath my knees." This has been my experience and I hope it helps shed light on the poor practices of this company and its employees.

This Place is for people who want their life back.. But don’t know how to Because they need opiate just a function before they can do anything.
I arrived at MAT Treatment a shell of a man 6’2’.. 170 pounds injecting Heroin several times a day and cross addicted
I had always been told methadone was a drug and not real Recovery… but I was desperate.. Fentanyl had just begun to circulate and people were already dying, and I was scared.
With some apprehension at first, I started on the program.. Within 2 Months, I stopped relapsing off of opiates altogether.. By one year, I was mostly sober 95% of the time with the occasional Xanax slip… By the end of two years, I was on a stable, methadone dose, working as a reliable employee that I am, Have a nice condo with a family that trusts me and daughters that respect me…
In the end, if I could recommend something to people in my position… Who cares what people say about methadone?.. Go talk to doctor an addiction specialist, who know more about your addiction than you do.. Who test Blood plasma level levels to ensure you are not lying about how your dose is affecting you… It serves as a placeholder now. In the morning, I take one fourth of the amount of methadone I started off on and I get some sanity that day and my brain gets a break from dreaming about drugs.. I’ll take that trade 10 out of 10 days… And this place has the best kind of counselors with resources who care, who will talk to him for over an hour if you need it.. And then answer the phone to talk more
Don’t have any preconceived notions on methadone treatment, come and take it one day at a time and if you don’t like it, just go back to doing drugs

This review is for AUDREY & ROSA — two truly outstanding professionals.
Audrey has been an incredible part of my experience for over 10 years, and I can say without hesitation that she’s one of the most reliable, dedicated, and hard-working people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She brings not only professionalism but also a kind heart to everything she does. Audrey goes above and beyond to make sure patients feel cared for — from making appointment scheduling easy to consistently sending reminders and communicating clearly. Her attention to detail and genuine compassion are evident in everything she does. She is an absolute asset, and NCMH is very fortunate to have her as a long-standing, trusted member of the team.
I also want to recognize ROSA — what an amazing addition to the team! Though newer to MCMH, Rosa is already making a strong impression. She handles the demands of this sometimes stressful field with such grace and a positive attitude. She’s always warm, welcoming, and keeps things running smoothly alongside Audrey. Together, they make an incredible team that contributes so much to creating a professional, organized, and comforting environment for both patients and staff.
To both of you: please know that your hard work does not go unnoticed. On the tough days, remember how valued you are. Your dedication truly makes a difference — and it’s deeply appreciated.

I don't know why some people are bad mouthing TLM other than they are ungrateful selfish brats. I've been clean since 2016. I'm grateful for Lewis and his staff. They work hard to make a difference in people's lives. They care about others but if you don't care about yourself then don't expect others to pity you. Lewis will take the shirt off his back for anyone as long as you're willing to help yourself too. Lewis and his staff have big hearts at least when I went there and I can't imagine that much has changed. I never knew Lewis to allow lying, stealing, drugs, let alone cheating or anything bad of any sort. Last I knew, their were rules everyone had to abide by. The food was delicious. Lewis charged a fee for in-house living. Nothing is free. Lewis would even make arrangements to work with you on the fees so I don't want to hear all the rude, nasty comments and negative input written on the reviews from the imbeciles whom have bad mouth TLM. They obviously have no respect, no integrity, let alone dignity. If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all because TLM is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone 100% especially if you want to get clean or sober. I lived through it and so can you. I'm literally a different person because of TLM. I'm grateful for the life's lessons I learned at TLM. My life is 💯 better than ever because of TLM.

I will always have a space in my heart for them. A 10 out of 5. I am sober, happier & a better person because of this place. T

I attended South Shore Rehab in February 2026, and it was by far the best rehab experience I've ever had. Before coming here, I'd been to hospitals and treatment centers that felt more like jail cells than places of healing.
What made South Shore different was the people and the environment. Every staff member truly cared about helping us recover. Instead of being locked down most of the day sitting in front of a TV, we participated in classes, went on outings, attended meetings, and learned about the disease of addiction and how to live a sober life.
The home-like setting made a huge difference for me. It felt like living in a normal household, with doctors, nurses, and staff always there to keep everyone safe and provide support. That environment gave me the opportunity to focus on recovery instead of just getting through the day.
I met so many people just like me, which showed me I wasn't alone and that long-term sobriety is truly achievable.
To everyone at South Shore—thank you. I have never stayed sober this long in my life after years of substance abuse, and I genuinely owe so much of that success to this place. If you're looking for a rehab where the staff truly care and recovery is the priority, I can't recommend South Shore enough.

Excellent treatment program! Inpatient care with the feel of home! I just spent six weeks in treatment with these wonderful people and I cannot speak highly enough to describe the care I received. Literally, from the first phone call, through treatment and discharge, my needs came first. The staff were amazing. The groups were relevant and extremely beneficial. Accomodations were very comfortable.
Most important for me, I'm at home with 48 days of sobriety and I'm equipped with the tools necessary to have a great chance of staying that way. If you are suffering from addiction like I was, please give South Shores Recovery a call. You will not regret it!

Ocean ridge exceeded my expectations. It was a very outside oriented program with the option to walk in different parks/beaches on an almost daily basis. Access to the gym, and phenomenal staff. Paul was my main 1 on 1 and he was fantastic. Highly recommend connecting with him and learning about recovery on a personal level. Would recommend to anyone

I can honestly say that what Rachel did for me in our individual sessions fundamentally changed the way I understand myself. She is brilliant, warm, and precise in a way that makes you feel genuinely seen rather than analyzed. I came in broken and left with actual tools, not platitudes. Two years out and I still use what I learned there every single day. Thank you!

AToN saved my life, and I don't say that lightly as someone who completed their program two years ago and has stayed sober since. Dr. Kevin's approach to clinical care is unlike anything I encountered in years of outpatient therapy. He has a way of cutting through the noise and getting to what's actually driving the behavior, without ever making you feel judged or reduced. The group sessions, the holistic work, the food, the grounds - all of it creates an environment where healing doesn't just feel possible, it feels inevitable. If you're on the fence, please get off it. This place is the real thing.

San Diego, CA | Evolve Treatment Center for Teens, located in San Diego, California, is an alcohol and drug rehab center, mental health center, and dual diagnosis treatment center for teens. They provide residential services. Evidence-Based, Individualized Care Our treatment model is rooted in proven, evidence-based approaches, with a strong emphasis on Dialecti | Treatments Programs Payment Options | We are so grateful for the care our daughter received at Evolve Cole Ranch. She truly thrived, growing in confidence, accountability, and self-awareness.
The facility is beautiful and creates a peaceful, healing environment. There’s also a positive, uplifting energy—it was important to us that treatment felt like support, not punishment, and Cole Ranch delivered. We especially appreciated the small group setting (only about six kids), which allows for individualized attention and meaningful peer connections.
She benefited from both traditional therapy (individual, group, and family) and experiential therapies like equine and surf—she can’t wait to surf again!
Most importantly, she left with real skills she’s already using at home. We’re incredibly proud of her and deeply thankful to the entire team—especially her therapist, Charlie, who seemed to know exactly how to connect with her. Ermias was great with and Rafa the chef made her laugh and smile. (I’m not sure I can compete with his cooking!).
Thank you to everyone at Cole Ranch—you truly changed her life.

My daughter’s mental health symptoms showed up at age thirteen. It seemed like overnight we went from having a typical child who enjoyed spending time with family, playing with friends, reading books, going on outings to just wanting to die. It was a very scary and confusing place for our family. I tried and tried to find providers who could help her. She went to multiple providers and programs with little change. After our insurance changed, we were able to start treatment at Evolve. From the very beginning, I felt that we were in good hands. The staff are well trained and the program is well designed. My daughter’s behaviors and our family’s communication patterns changed dramatically. After four years of feelings as if I had lost my daughter, I have my daughter back. I’m grateful that the providers at Evolve have extensive knowledge and experience with teens with mental health issues, and we finally got the help we needed!

Evolve did wonders for our teen. I'm sure it's hard for them to get reviews as this is such a private matter. The whole process is utterly heartbreaking. You don't end up here because you wanna be here. That being said they worked with us as a family so well. I really liked that. They involve you in the treatment and try to ensure that you will have the tools necessary to help your child continue on their path of healing. The path is BUMPY, and it heartbreaking. I remember graduating out of program thinking I don't know if I am ready to do it without them. They helped us navigate tough topics and issues our teen would shut down on us with. Helped us see each other's sides. Helped our teen see themeself. When we graduated out were ok and we did move forward on our own. As a family we are so thankful for the staff at Evolve and the forever impact they have made on our child's life. The skills they shared, our kiddo still uses. Our kiddo really had a connection to the staff. There was also a pet lizard that meant a lot to our kiddo. There's so much I could say about this place. But the biggest is just two words FOREVER THANKFUL.

What sets Villa Kali Ma apart is how they treat the addiction and the trauma underneath it together, not one and then the other. My therapist never rushed me through anything. Between the yoga, the acupuncture, and the actual clinical work, I finally feel like myself again instead of just sober.
