The staff at Laurel Oaks went above and beyond for my child. I do not understand why there are bad reviews. My husband, child and I are very pleased with the intake, discharge and the duration and treatment of my child’s stay. The staff remained in contact any time necessary and answered every question and concern for me. I would recommend to anyone who needs Behavioral Treatment.

This is a amazing clinic. From the counselors to the doctor. They go out of their way to help my son. They visit him at school, they even have a team that will even visit your house and do activities with your child to help them learn coping skills, encouragement, help with self esteem issues, and they reward them aswell. I have seen my son go from having such anger every single day, to slowly coming out of his shell and communicating more, and being in better moods. They just give him someone to talk to other than me. Totally recommend this place. Wish there was something like this around when I was growing up.

I m only 4 days in but let me tell you though it works! I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven t felt as normal if that s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don t treat you like someone who doesn t deserve help or like it s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!

In the 10+ years I have been battling addiction, 8 of which were in a MAT of some sort, and spanning across 5 US states, I have never encountered the level of compassion, professionalism, and just plain old fashioned wholeheartedness in the care and treatment radiating from every staff member at the Med Mark treatment center in Dothan. I was always just a number anywhere else. Here, I walk in the door and feel like they are happy I made it that day. This may seem like an exaggeration to some but it's considered an understatement by me. Thank you, Med Mark, for going that extra mile to help me.

To start my visit I went into the main entrance I was quickly met with help and great directions to the emergency department. I was quickly taken to the back with friendly care. They checked on me often. I had the flu so I had an awful headache they made sure I had water, medicine, if I wanted the chair up, or the lights off for my headache. The two nurses (one male and one female) were so attentive! And the doctor Nickolas bass was a straight shooter and explained everything well. As a person sent here for a evaluation through the judicial system, that I would say made that determination under poor unethical standards. I spent 4 weeks here after 3 weeks of observation I was given a evaluation which I passed and was released the following week. My personal experience from the inside was that overall much of the staff is very professional. Some are very young and I commend them for choosing such a challenging job. I have a new respect for this industry as the real challenges are the patients. Each one with their own challenges and demands and expectations can be draining on any human. The court education classes where very informative to the facts of law. Dr Heather is amazing as well as nurse Johnny Ms Myra, Ms Richardson and Mr Taylor. Although there is room for improvement, my overall experience was educational and safe. And in my opinion they are NOT over medicating people here the DRs and staff were very reasonable and at times I wished they would medicate some of the more severe patients for my own personal peace. I believe whole hearted that the operations here are being done well. Keep up the good work the world needs more people like you all to help so many in need. Blessings

Very interesting " Club ". A permanent setup in an old cabin. You cant see it from the road. Try to ignore that weird little building at the road with a couple old cars for sale. It has a sign on the front door " he-man woman haters club". Holds both AA and NA meetings. Back home in Cleveland Ohio, 90% of AA meetings are held in churches. A nominal "rent" is paid to the church each month. There's only one sober club in Cleveland. Keep going to meetings. It will grow on you after awhile till the miracle happens.
