About The Harvest House Of Hope

Harvest House of Hope (HHH) is a faith based sober living recovery home for women in Bainbridge, Georgia. This is a long term residential care lasting between six to twelve months and serves women at the early stage of recovery from substance use.

You must have completed detox or inpatient care to receive treatment here. In fact, a qualifying criterion for this program is that you must be detoxed at least three days before entering. Harvest House of Hope understands the unique threat substance use poses to the health and spiritual wellbeing of the community especially the women residents. They offer a safe, supportive and encouraging space where women in recovery can regain control of their lives and achieve their fullest potential.

Residential Recovery in Charming Bainbridge

HHH’s two-story residential house sits on 10 acres of land along a dirt road in Bainbridge. There’s a peanut field in the front and a cotton field stretching out back. Bainbridge is a small town situated along the Flint River in Northern Decatur County. Lake Seminole, Donalsonville State Park and Riverwalk Park are popular natural attractions in this area that contribute to its charm. From hiking to boating and fishing, these natural spaces offer opportunities for various outdoor activities during recreational time.

You’ll also have access to restaurants and eateries nearby including Hardee’s, The Grill and El Jalisco Mexican Restaurant. This can be helpful when you don’t fancy the house menu. Retail stores are available as well where you can pick up personal items. This program is grounded in 12 step principles. But it’s not clear if this involves an offsite meeting. If it does, you’ve quite a flexible option. Some closest ones include Bainbridge AA Group, Decatur County NA meetings and First Baptist Church’s Celebrate Recovery.

Bainbridge Public Transportation provides local bus services that can help get you to these places. The facility’s location along Wilsontown Road makes access easy.

Christ-Focused Residential Care That Restores Hope for Women

Harvest House Of Hope fosters healing and recovery through Christ focused programming. They help the women who knock on their door build stronger relationships with God. This is achieved through focused study and application of a divinely inspired twelve-step program rooted in spiritual principles. The program promotes new ways of thinking and belief through workshops & group meetings as well as prayer & meditation.

Residents also benefit from experiential activities like yoga, exercise and music. Volunteer staff are available to offer mentorship and guidance as you navigate recovery. They emphasize peer interaction, communication and networking to help you build healthy relationships that strengthen your support network. You’ll also learn discipline, personal responsibility and accountability.

Women Empowerment Through Recovery and Growth

HHH empowers the women who come through its doors to become productive members of their families and communities. You’ll have the chance to earn your GED or continue your education while also learning job readiness skills. Life skills like meal planning, gardening, crafts and sewing are taught as well. These skills are helpful for everyday living.

You’ll have the chance to earn your GED or continue your education while also learning skills like meal planning, gardening, crafts, sewing, and job preparation. You’ll be able to participate in volunteering after 30 days. This is an important part of the program involving giving back to the community and building connections. They believe everyone should contribute to the community by giving back their time, talents or treasures to benefit others. This makes sense since giving back fosters a sense of purpose and personal growth.

Most women who come here feeling hopeless are equipped with the tools necessary to navigate life and improve their overall wellbeing. Mothers are reunited with their children and families, rebuilding strong and supportive relationships.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
