I’m not sure why this hospital have two stars but goddamnit I’m gonna be the first person to give it 10 stars. MY DOCTOR was top-tier as Sweet and understanding and doctor son had the most sweetest spirit and he was understanding the night. Staff is top-tier and they make me laugh while I was having a mental breakdown beyond exhaustion. I really enjoyed my stay there and I met Some beautiful strong women who’s more stronger than me I really really like MY DOCTOR and I hope to see him again If life gets too much for me, I needed to take a break for my busy life just to deal with my emotions And staff got them together for me. I’m glad I have A place to go when I’m Overwhelmed and the staff is so respectful the daytime staff in the night I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews …… I wish I would’ve stayed longer just to be with MY DOCTOR nevertheless, I’m giving them 10 star …. I live with Schizophrenia and also Bipolar II. I have been using services at the Thomasville location for more than 10 yrs. I get Therapy, I see the doctor, & I've attended Wellness Groups. GA Pines is all about recovery and I can say with confidence how VALUABLE GA PINES services are because I am a living example! I have been in recovery since 2013. I have been working here since 2014 in Administration. I have found my niche because I am doing something I know about. Before Recovery I was lost, I felt like I was watching life from the window of a house I could not leave. Therapy has raised my self-esteem, taught me boundaries, helped me overcome feelings of hopelessness & despair. I'm no longer ashamed of my mental illness.

Well, I moved to Cairo ga 3 years ago from Michigan. The first time visiting the VA in Tallahassee 3 years ago right after I moved here was a shock. Small compared to what I'm used to. I went to the Detroit VA and the Ann Arbor VA. Both facilities were like going to tallahasee Memorial Hospital.. huge. They had parking garages 4 levels. So that was the first thing I noticed. As far as treatment goes, no complaints. Although I would like to see anger management classes or group therapy there.

I started my road to recovery at New Seasons. I owe the counselors and nurses there my life. Ashley was my counselor for 4 years and she was awesome. Unfortunately she had to leave her job there and I was assigned to Winnifred. She was also very good at her job. They were both kind, compassionate and understanding. They both went above and beyond. The nurses there were extremely kind and caring and treated me as a person not just an addict. I have to give special thanks to Ms. Sharon, Princess and Jasmine, they are very dedicated to their jobs and professional. I had to leave New Seasons because I moved out of state and I truly miss it so much, I know everyone can't be happy all the time, but this is a great place. If your sobriety is important to you and you really are willing to work for it, New Seasons staff will help you every step of the way. Thank you to all the staff there and I miss you all. I'm sober over 5 years now.❤

Turning Point is a comprehensive rehab for drug and alcohol addiction in Moultrie, Georgia. By comprehensive I mean that they offer treatment at several different levels of care. That lets them give you the in-depth treatment you need. It also lets you step down your treatment as you become more stable in your sobriety without changing rehabs. Man
This place is a little bit like jail LOL. But it really gets you in the right frame of mind for the intensive outpatient program, which is the next phase. Rules here are heavy, waiting list can be long, chaos can be constant, group amount can be overwhelming, privacy virtually Non-Existent... But stay tough and stick with it. The intensive operation program is great. Well, better 🙂... Just obey the rules and you'll be fine! And remember, the rules exist for a reason. Avoid the pods of guys, a lot of the guys are just there because they're homeless. Not because they're looking to get sober. It's just a reality. I'm sure 30 days of this is not enough to get you sober, so if you plan on leaving after 30 days, be ready to work your own program when you get home. If you find the staff to be a little abrasive at times, well get over yourself , this is not a hotel. They're managing a lot of people in a very enclosed environment . Sometimes to do that they have to be blunt. And they have to be forceful. So if you get your feelings hurt, shut up. Grab a book, sit under a tree, or lay in your bed and read and work on your recovery. And regardless of some of the animals that are around you, respect others and practice being the human being that you want to become. This part of the program could stand a new property. This property is not the best. And well I suppose they could do a little bit better with weeding out the riff Raff. But whatever, you're not going to die. Get what you need to get and be pleasant to others. Later!

This organization transformed my brothers life. He was lost in a drug addiction life for most of his life, until he found God in this center. Not only did it transform him, but it restored our family relationship and gave us a way to reach forgiveness for all that the addiction caused. He has an amazing life and a great relationship with his family now. It is all because of the change that this center allowed him to make on his own without the guidance of parents, friends, or family, but the guidance of Christ centered men who had recovered from similar addictive behaviors.

I was there from October 2023 to April 2024 to be honest it beat jail but that's about it. Their wasn't much they knew what to do with us. Get up early walk to breakfast. come back have a 15 minute group with your "word of the day.." then do random chores that some of the residents take pride in and all serious. When it hardly does anything just keep us busy. A nicotine group and then lunch. after this they either walk us to the gym or have another pointless group. By dinner people are getting back from work and then there's a 2 hour or so night group. I never got a job while I was there because they were afraid for me to work near smoke shops SMH.... I was really just there to please the court and not go to prison. To be honest I give it a 4 star because they really do try. if I was would've been there to get sober like others that I knew were there itd probably work...

I got my GED and graduated highschool there. I left and while still a teenager a studied insurance and became very successful. I think much of it was due to what I learned there.
