All though I was sent there by the court. My 3 stays there were great the staff there are great. The 3 stays there was the only time I ever felt loved and cared about. Now the Doctors and some nurses are fucking idiots, and don't give a damn about the residents. But my only real complaint would be that the place is dirty and nasty house keeping is lazy as fuck and half ass cleans especially the bathrooms and showers.

Terrible place. Rude and nasty attitudes, highly unprofessional, I was confused on what was happening, I was told I was going to have some sort of evaluation, next thing I know I'm thrown a Novel and told to fill it all out, that I needed 12 weeks of "treatment ". Treatment for what? As someone who does not use drugs, or drink alcohol. I was very confused so I asked what was going on and what is this? And the nasty big woman just raised her voice shouting at me, saying "if you don't want to do it you can leave" never once did I say I did not want to do it or that I was not going to, I was simply asking questions and this woman was so nasty and ugly and rude to me I never want to step foot in that place again. I'd rather drive an hour to Panama and deal with them. People are supposed to come there to "help" and get"treatment"?? To be treated and judged like that is disgusting human behavior and someone who treats other humans like that is in the wrong line of work. Need I add that while I did attempt to try again, with this women she proceeded to run her loud mouth, talking trash about me in the other room, so I walked out. I refuse to be treated like I'm NOT a person by a complete and total stranger. Smh. A place where people go for help...and this is how I was treated. Smh. I feel bad for all the people forced to go here. if i was treated a little bit better.. i might have stayed and did the stupid thing but nope. Not letting evil and ugly into my soul like that. Cursed little building.

MY DOCTOR was top-tier as Sweet and understanding and doctor son had the most sweetest spirit and he was understanding the night. Staff is top-tier and they make me laugh while I was having a mental breakdown beyond exhaustion. I really enjoyed my stay there and I met Some beautiful strong women who’s more stronger than me I really really like MY DOCTOR and I hope to see him again If life gets too much for me, I needed to take a break for my busy life just to deal with my emotions And staff got them together for me. I’m glad I have A place to go when I’m Overwhelmed and the staff is so respectful the daytime staff in the night I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews …… I wish I would’ve stayed longer just to be with MY DOCTOR nevertheless, I’m giving them 10 star …. This ER is an absolute joke, Dr.Will was absolutely horrible, he was very rude to my husband, and did nothing to help or treat his issues, all he did was look in his mouth and say you don’t look anemic by the color of your gums and sent him away unless he wanted to wait around for labs but he didn’t feel my Husband needed any CT or MRI when he clearly was there for an internal issue and was pooping blood, if you wanna die go to this ER, this place should be shut down!

I live with Schizophrenia and also Bipolar II. I have been using services at the Thomasville location for more than 10 yrs. I get Therapy, I see the doctor, & I've attended Wellness Groups. GA Pines is all about recovery and I can say with confidence how VALUABLE GA PINES services are because I am a living example! I have been in recovery since 2013. I have been working here since 2014 in Administration. I have found my niche because I am doing something I know about. Before Recovery I was lost, I felt like I was watching life from the window of a house I could not leave. I went here a few years back. Court order, even though I was the victim. But the group and staff really helped me on my healing journey. The information I learned helped me break Generational Curses. It helped me from having a victim mindset to a survivor mindset. It taught me so much that I share my growth with my children. Don't call the helpline I called wanting to speak to someone and they just kept asking if I wanted to Kill myself or someone else after answer several times and asking to speak with someone, I got a surprise at my door. Sherriff department placing me in cuffs in front of all my neighbors and took me to the inpatient where they took me cause they don't understand how insulin is done. Then they kept me 5 days and straight stopped me on 20 some odd medicines. I'm stilled messed up from it a yr ago. Now I'm suing. Good luck if you have to go.

My daughter’s therapist has been there for her each and every time we have needed her no matter the time of day. She is interested, caring, knowledgeable, and she is involved in every aspect of treatment. Also, she never fails to follow up with her. My daughter also has a Para pro that comes to our house weekly to help her with her coping skills, and many other issues that help her deal with day to day life.
