My favorite location to dose at. The director is super nice and you can tell she cares. The receptionist is very nice and doesn t ever seem like she s upset to be at work, really welcoming. The nurses are great too but the nurse Tony is the MVP in my opinion She s always on top of things when I guest dose there and always atleast seems like she s happy to be there and to help. In my experience it s almost a thankless job and most people expect so much and can be super rude at clinics, but this clinic actually cares and does their best and you can tell.

If you get miss Belle as your therapist she is wonderful!! She helped me work through the difficult emotions I was having and I am doing so much better after my visit here. It's not all flowers and chocolate, the atmosphere is drab and dreary. But it did allow me to have a time out from my life and realize what matters most. I know that hasn't been everyone's experience on here but it sure helped me.

I came here needing a real change and that's what I got. The program is definitely tough but sometimes that's what you need to break old habits. It’s pretty structured, with a lot of discipline and no shortcuts allowed. What really stood out to me was how much they lean on the Bible and its teachings. It’s a big part of the healing here. The Staff and facility at this location are great. However, because the call center is underfunded and non-existent you will not be able to communicate with the great healthcare workers here. If you want the patient advocate, pharmacy or any other service within a 24 hour period, I recommend calling the Veteran suicide hotline and asking for them by name. If you are lucky enough to know the direct line for the patient advocate, they may be able to help. If you call the central phone line, be prepared to not be successfully connected to any department. I would love to discuss this matter with any upper level staff of the hospital. Oh wait, you can t reach their offices.

Friendship happens the moment I realize I m not the only one. I showed up at Turning Point believing the lies of fear and shame, alone and ready to get it over with. Great place. I was originally placed in a group mostly of girls. Precisely, all girls. Only reason why I left that group and placed with the boys was because like 3 or 4 of them had a crush on me, and the staff was concerned about that. Don't blame them. When I was with the boys, I felt happier. Having a group of people I could actually relate with, and was on the same hall as them was great. I stayed for about a month, before I was released at the end of October of 2021. I'm 17, almost 18, and though much mental health problems got worse, Beacon helped me a bunch. I thank them , who kept me alive another few years. I did have about 6 more hospital visits since my beacon visit in 21' , but I love how they treated me. No other hospitals treated me like beacon did.
