In a time when recovery is often stigmatized, compassionate staff with lived experience is KEY to connecting on a personal level with people going through substance abuse recovery, and in my opinion, Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and everyone working there, from the receptionist, to the counselors, the nurses, and the doctor, are all godsends.
If you are apprehensive about getting help here, please, I urge you to come inside and just ask to speak with any of the counselors, or nurse Tony. You WILL be taken care of here, you will be seen not as an addict but as a person looking to make a change, take the first step.

This place isn't too bad. They have a very high turnover rate as far as counselors and pharmacy techs go. Always new employees rotating in and out. The director is fair and friendly, I like her a lot. There are a few counselors that have been there for a long time though, they are awesome and for the most part always willing to help resolve an issue. I guess the biggest downside to this place is all the drama that goes down in the parking lot before the place even opens, lawd there's some crazy folks that go here!

My favorite location to dose at. The director is super nice and you can tell she cares. The receptionist is very nice and doesn’t ever seem like she’s upset to be at work, really welcoming. The nurses are great too but the nurse Tony is the MVP in my opinion 😂 She’s always on top of things when I guest dose there and always atleast seems like she’s happy to be there and to help. In my experience it’s almost a thankless job and most people expect so much and can be super rude at clinics, but this clinic actually cares and does their best and you can tell.

My whole life I've heard horror stories about the VA. The last 2.5 years we have lived with my dad to take care of him. I have nothing but great things to say about the Oxford VA and the nationwide VA pharmacy. They take great care of my dad and are VERY thorough with his care. The nurses treat him like gold and flirt with him, which he loves. They provide almost anything he needs: some of his prescriptions, a hospital bed, liquid thickener, oxygen tank, eye services, psychiatric services, etc. Any time I have had to call they have been sooooo polite and helpful. Same with the pharmacy. I forgot to re-order one of my dad's prescriptions and they got it to me by the NEXT day. The VA isn't perfect, but I feel like they really care about their veterans and their health.

Cen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I visited the V.A. Medical Center in Tuskegee, AL, on Nov. 14, 2025 for an audiology evaluation. It was my first time ever being at the facility. I've been working with the V.A. on my disability rating which was recently increased to 100 percent. I've been retired from the Air Force for 35 years and applied for V.A. benefits only after my wife's urging. The folks at the Center, from Dr. Hardy in Audiology, to all of the support staff I met while there, could not have been nicer. They treated me with respect and dignity and thanked me many times over for my service to our country. I am returning today for my hearing aids and I'm anxious to meet even more of the staff. I'm blessed to have the Tuskegee V.A. Medical Center nearby. While I was there on Nov. 14, I also made an appointment with Primary Care and with the Dental Office. I'm looking forward to these visits and receiving treatment from the many medical professionals serving our veterans.

The Staff and facility at this location are great. However, because the call center is underfunded and non-existent you will not be able to communicate with the great healthcare workers here. If you want the patient advocate, pharmacy or any other service within a 24 hour period, I recommend calling the Veteran suicide hotline and asking for them by name. If you are lucky enough to know the direct line for the patient advocate, they may be able to help. If you call the central phone line, be prepared to not be successfully connected to any department. I would love to discuss this matter with any upper level staff of the hospital. Oh wait, you can’t reach their offices.

Columbiana, AL | Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders is a residential treatment program located in Columbiana, Alabama. They provide a continuum of care that supports clients through their recovery from beginning to end. Services are available for teens and adults. Magnolia Creek Treatment Center offers a supportive environment at every stage of ca | Treatments Programs Payment Options | As many other reviews here say, going to treatment was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I knew I needed help, but I was terrified of the process of getting it, especially because I had never known anyone who had done intensive mental health treatment like the kind Magnolia Creek offers. But after completing my treatment at MC, I can honestly say that it is the best and most important thing I have ever done for myself. Magnolia Creek taught me not just about how to recover but also about what led me to my ED in the first place—and why that origin matters.
The group therapies stand out as some of the best conversations I’ve ever had about mental health—all the clinicians at MC contributed to making these talks so meaningful, but especially Sam and Madison! My individual team changed my life with such personal, passionate, empathetic, recovery-focused care. Anna, my therapist, helped me do things in the weeks I was in treatment that I never thought would be possible for me. Because of her and my dietitian, Emma’s, expert care, I am now able to not only handle my ED but also start living a life full of love and care for myself. Anna and her loving spirit and unmatched emotional intelligence challenged me when I needed it and nurtured me when I couldn’t do it for myself. She has left a handprint on my heart I will carry with me in my recovery forever. I also am so thankful for Dylan’s leadership in the nutrition space at MC; his dedication and passion for what MC is doing and for the clients’ recoveries made so much possible for me while I was there.
The rest of the staff at MC was also key to making my experience what it was. I was so scared of what treatment would be, but the RCSes and facility staff made me feel so looked after and safe that I was able to really focus on the hard work of recovery and to let the other worries fade. I’m so grateful for the kindness and care that the staff of MC showed me in my time there.
My life is forever changed by the wonderful programming and people of Magnolia Creek. I can never say thank you enough to everyone there for allowing me the space to imagine and create a better life for myself. I cannot recommend MC—and treatment—more.

Magnolia Creek truly helped me in ways that I didn’t know were possible. Going back to treatment and having to put my life on pause was a difficult and scary decision, but I was welcomed with open arms into a safe place to heal. Over my time at MC, I learned a lot about myself with the help of my amazing team and many other staff/clients. My team was truly the best, they met me where I was at, while also challenging me. I felt genuinely supported, cared for, and seen throughout my experience here. I am forever grateful for all the people I met at Magnolia Creek and how they changed my life and recovery for the better!

***Disclaimer: My review is concerning a delivery experience to the facility.***
This facility placed a very large order of 99 items at Sam's. I accepted the order, and saw that there was no tip attached to it, but assumed since it was such a large order, the customer probably wanted to wait until after everything was delivered before tipping, which is understandable, so I proceeded with shopping for the order.
Things didn't exactly go the way I thought they would, but I've since been tipped (and tipped fairly) for the amount of effort required to complete their order. I really appreciate their willingness to address and rectify this ordeal. It says a lot about the level of importance they place on the people they encounter in the day to day operations of the center, which inadvertently also says a lot about the quality of treatment I'm sure they also give to their patients.
Thank you so much for being willing to work this out, and I look forward to serving you again in the future.
Have a great day!
