I pray that whomever is reading these words know that many join you with prayers that brought you here. WE are not alone"He's the worst if the worst..."A brief observation by Florida Criminal Judge Charlie Crawford just prior to my fall. Again!!! How to cope with this life I chose? My heart knew that the pain of remaining the same was becoming greater than the pain of changing. One day I learned that I could live a good life. Even while locked up.MIRACLES HAPPENED for me 19 years ago, lets just say: "I'm out."Blessed with knowledge that I chose to accept and understand I became clean in prison, with a goal of sobriety. Prison life was easy for me. It was indeed a mind**** yeah, but would not choose to risk going to a place I feared, so maintaining my 55 year heroin addiction was always enabled. I loved my drug, and hated my life and this recovery stuff is painful. But beautiful.NEW SEASONS has been paramount in my support. The counselors that I have learned from and confided in are wonderful people, that I believe have a genuine purpose of helping & loving others. If you feel that you need this then you're probably right. Hopelessness sucks!#StayTheCourse

I have had such a pleasant experiences here. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients.I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here.

How Much Does Drug Rehab Cost in Huntsville?

Huntsville is the 24th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $62906. This is higher than the average cost of $58607 for addiction treatment in Alabama and higher than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Huntsville vary widely and depend on several factors, including:

Comparing the Cost of Rehab in Huntsville

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.

These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.

Average Cost of Treatment in Huntsville vs. Alabama vs. the National Average

How to Pay for Addiction Treatment in Huntsville?

There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Huntsville. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Huntsville that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Huntsville.

Top Insurers for Drug Rehab in Huntsville

Cigna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Huntsville, with 7 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 6 treatment centers accepting it followed by Aetna in 3rd accepted by 6 drug rehabs.

Drug Use in Huntsville

Huntsville has the 285th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Madison county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Huntsville or Madison county as a whole.

Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Huntsville.
