Now that I can review this place, I was here in 2023, on the women’s side of course. I quite literally chose to be in a tent in the woods than live in that place. For one, they shove religion down your throat, now I believe in the lord, but that’s not the way. There’s cameras where you sleep, can’t sleep due to bright lights that they don’t turn off at night, plus who wants to be watched when they sleep? One dorm room is cold, while the other is hot. They don’t give you a pillow or even let you bring one cause of “bed bugs”, on top of that, you get 2 thin blankets and you HAVE to use one as a pillow or it’s just uncomfortable. They have made disabled women go on the top bunk regardless if they have fallen off it in the past, or can’t even climb. So if you’re disabled, I do not recommend. They will embarrass you. I had to give my bunk bed away once to a woman who could NOT climb up the ladder. I almost got in trouble because of it. You can’t have your phone inside either, so you’d have to leave everytime you want to do something on there (find a job, etc). If you don’t spend the night often, you can’t even use their bathroom, and there’s nothing nearby to release yourself. I had to go in the woods because they wouldn’t let me in and it’s a LONG walkway to the women’s side (good 2-5 minute walk). Can’t bring any food in either, only water bottles. This ain’t really their fault, but it was so crowded at night some women had to sleep on the floor cause they ran out of beds. That’s also why I chose to just sleep outside, I already had a bed in a tent for me, so I figured as well other ppl need a bed, but since I chose not to sleep there I get punished for it. Also, there’s women who have been there for YEARS and are too comfortable being homeless. And they LET THEM STAY when they are doing nothing to improve their life. Here’s my experience. I’d go to the downtown rescue mission if possible.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have medical support available around the clock, and 24-hour clinical care in Alabama offers a safe environment in which you can begin your recovery journey. This feature offers constant supervision in situations like medical detox, where a team of professionals are on hand to ensure the withdrawal processs is performed safely and comfortably.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
