One word—AMAZING. I have been in and out of various drug treatment centers since my first overdose when I was twenty. I don’t know To get clean this time because I really wanted it, or I knew if I didn’t succeed this time, death had his hand above my neck. But God bless Amanda. She was my savior and did everything she could to help me, and I actually looked forward to seeing her after a while. Every session, she said something that was so profound to me, something I had never thought of before, or in that way, and that pertained to me. Amanda is a MIRACLE WORKER!!! I gave myself one month from by first meeting with her, and if things haven’t changed, I was going to kill myself (after a few suicide attempts, I had figured out a fool-proof plan.) Obviously, I never had to do it, and am the best place (spiritual and emotionally) I have been in a while!
Also, for anyone serious, I recommend staying a little longer than the program states.
Thank you again, Amanda!!!

Crestview, Florida | Bridgeway Center is a behavioral healthcare center that provides drug rehab services to low-income adults and those dealing with substance abuse problems in Crestview, Florida. They also treat mental health issues and those with dual diagnosis needs through a medication assisted program, a detoxification program, and an outpatient treatment program | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My experience with Bridgeway over the past month has been excellent. The practice makes it easy to get started. I didn't have to wait long for my initial appointment, and the new patient process was very smooth. The front desk staff for Psychiatry and Medication Services are sweet and incredibly helpful. My provider, Candi, is wonderful; she's clearly knowledgeable and was very thorough in taking my history. I truly felt heard and respected as a patient. She is also proactive in managing my medication needs. Highly recommend Bridgeway! :)

Ive been a patient here for over a year now and I believe the staff that works here has a true heart to serve others in maintaining stability of mental health. Dr April is thorough with questions she has asked me to be sure my medication was correct. I say this, bc I have seen significant improvement in consistency in all areas of my life. Also, she isn’t just a doctor handing out meds at random- like I’ve experienced in another state When I was prescribed two separate addictions unaware of what those meds would do at the time. I feel a sense of security and confidence coming here! The nurses were really helpful when I had a blood pressure issue, the front desk assistance is on it, and the pharmacy is SO MUCH MORE feasible that I am able to AFFORD my meds!

I’ve been a patient at The Bridgeway Center off and on my entire life. The work they do is truly remarkable and life changing. When I first came to the Crestview location I was very lost, broken and struggling with day to day tasks, paired with April and Marty as my team I’ve bought my first vehicle and gotten job opportunities that before would’ve never been possible, I have a love for life and mental clarity I’ve never experienced before. I’m truly the happiest I’ve ever been. Every single employee at Bridgeway cares about people , sees you as a person and is a “come as you are” type of environment! Therapy, Medication services and the Genoa pharmacy have changed my life and I would recommend to anyone looking for help with their mental health. This is a safe space for all with very trustworthy and professional staff.

My Grandpa was a resident on the rehab wing for around 2 weeks and while I was hesitant at first, we could not be happier. He felt respected and like he had his dignity throughout his stay. Staff members not only treated him with courtesy, but actually got him stronger physically and helped improved his overall outlook towards his decreased mobility. These ladies (and gentlemen) work so hard to provide an enriching experience for residents who live within their walls and they do it with care and respect. In my opinion they all deserve raises and more funding. I can't even single anyone out because SO MANY staff members provided excellent care.

Edit: things are finally getting fixed for me. It took forever but finally things are getting back on track here. //The rules that the clinic it self is now breaking is making it very hard for me to stay on track with my sobriety. Things used to be better here, but the last two years big mistakes are being made by workers and even when they tell you they will fix it and that they are sorry, they’re not. I’m only 4 days in but let me tell you though it works! I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!

This place isn't too bad. They have a very high turnover rate as far as counselors and pharmacy techs go. Always new employees rotating in and out. The director is fair and friendly, I like her a lot. There are a few counselors that have been there for a long time though, they are awesome and for the most part always willing to help resolve an issue. I guess the biggest downside to this place is all the drama that goes down in the parking lot before the place even opens, lawd there's some crazy folks that go here!

My favorite location to dose at. The director is super nice and you can tell she cares. The receptionist is very nice and doesn’t ever seem like she’s upset to be at work, really welcoming. The nurses are great too but the nurse Tony is the MVP in my opinion 😂 She’s always on top of things when I guest dose there and always atleast seems like she’s happy to be there and to help. In my experience it’s almost a thankless job and most people expect so much and can be super rude at clinics, but this clinic actually cares and does their best and you can tell.

This facility offers a military and fir | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This place is both good and bad. Before I start writing my experiences I will say I gave it my all and I came to realize that you only get out what you put in. Sure did I experience microaggressions in the deep south as a Latina yes, but I also experienced good people who truly are committed to making our experiences the best they could.
Your phone and laptop will be taken from you , they also take away hair gels, and other stuff that to some may seem minor but when your used to being on your phone all day everyday like me it is very frustrating. I will say after 8 days without a phone, I almost didn't care because I met so many great people here. I'm used to people being closed off and cold, but I will say here people will make their way to getting to know you which I found very new but refreshing. The first few days was tough adjusting to the rules, and almost everything is locked so it is rough. In spite of all the challenges I really came to enjoy it my last week there. I loved the different events they had like Karaoke Thursdays, Memorial day barbeque pit, Yoga at the mods on Wednesdays(which I loved) and just all the fun events that make you feel connected and involved. I hated the first week but the third week I was crying that i had to leave . If it wasn't for my insurance I would stay there now. I loved my therapist Dan, he was very smart and really knows what he was talking about. You can tell he really puts forth the effort and really cares about his students. Audra was nice and pretty, she was sweet and you can tell she really cares as well. The nurses were a mixture of both good and bad. The case manager Maria was super friendly and came on Sundays for extra assistance. She really made my experience smooth and provided after care and psychiatrists number for when I returned back home. And I cant forget Heather who made my experience very good when I was at detox. I was scared and lost and she came and helped me when I needed someone the most. That meant alot. Thankyou Heather - you wont ever be forgotten...
The facility is more centered around substance abuse, but they do have mental illness topics. I learned so much here. If you do the work, and really put in the effort you will get out more than expected. Finally, In spite of the challenges, I really recommend this place. at the end I met some life long friends that I will stay connected to forever!!!!

The facility can help you recover | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Considering the patient to Doctor ratio is ten times what it should be, I think this clinic does well. I have one critique. Remove the soil from the water fountains at the main entrance. The appearance is a disgrace. Either use the fountain as intended or destroy it. Revision!
After calming down I’m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn’t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I’ve done everything text book as im asked when I’m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended “take homes” and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn’t do that. When I’ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I’ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way.

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to leave a review for my beautiful people at GBR (they know me well, unfortunately but also fortunately- for I don't know where I would be without them). This is a trustworthy establishment that will take care of you the very best they can. You have to do your part and trust the process. Between Dr. E, Heather (admissions), and the amazing nursing staff- Mandie, Nicole, Monica, Patrick. The incredible support staff- (hey Paige! Alyssa! All my other loves!), they have all held my hands through extremely tough times and gotten me to the other side. My gratitude is endless for the angels that work there- and I am aware I didn't mention them all. But I certainly love them all.
There is so much compassion and love in this beautiful facility, from the therapists, counselors, nursing staff, support staff, to the amazing chefs Sean and Karen. Food is AMAZING and plentiful.
I miss sitting outside looking at the pelicans, swimming in the pool, sunning, reading, healing. No one ever wants to end up in this sort of facility, but if you have to, I *highly* recommend GBR. You'll enjoy it more than you'd expect and create a whole new two sets of families- between staff and your fellow residents (guests).
Few bonuses- treadmills and exercise equipment, pool table, a dock to fish from, a pool to cleanse your soul in after the sauna, super sweet people who will change your life, and again- amazing food.
Forever grateful for you GBR! Thank you for all you have done for me.

I transferred around Fl quite a bit the last couple of yesrs and the panhandle area is without a doubt the most in need of quality MAT. THE ONE IN Panama city is the worst, long lines no phasing past 6 and you are treated like a criminal. Bei.g a phase 27 that was out of the question for me so I enrolled here. The people were great, the clinic was efficient clean and friendly my issues were that it was over 200 miles round trip and the biggest they stand there and watch you pee. I have shy bladder and was to the point of having to use a catheter because it was taking an hour or more to do a urine sample.
I transferred to Tallahassee clinic the drive was a little shorter but they just pat you down before a urine test so that made it way easier BUT the Tallahassee clinic has huge turnover and currently just 2 councelors, they are more interested in squeezing money than helping even at phase 27 they want you to attend 2 groups a month, 4 so called physicals a year and so on...dont get me wrong, the counselors are good and want to help but it is obvious that they have thier hands tied by corporate.
If lakeview could use cameras pat downs or anything other than the stand and stare method for tests i would transfer bsck despite the extra drive...yall PLEASE give that some thought i know I speak for others ss well...you have a really good clinic with really good people you shouldnt abuse patients and staff with this archaic practice.

Pensacola, Florida | Lakeview Center - Residential Treatment for Children offers residential care for children facing mental health and substance misuse issues in Pensacola, Florida. Their Meridian program is a statewide inpatient psychiatric facility. This facility is designed to assist children who are experiencing severe emotional and behavioral problems. This carin | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I Have to say thank you to the behavior techs and supervisors who put in the work to keep me and others safe. The problems I've had here include many things breaking, uncleanliness (a staff forced me and another client to clean a day room that had not been cleaned in what looked like months if not a year.), staff using point sheets as a weapon to make kids scared, some of the staff are just downright petty. I can't say I wasn't helped, The clinical director (Scott Smales) Was so so helpful and helped sort a lot of problems. Behavior tech just don't care a lot along with some supervisors. Thank you to the ones who did do the work they were supposed to and thank you to the interns and my therapist for making my stay somewhat less scary.

The reception ladies and nurses are all great and sincerely want to help our veterans. It's hard to get appointments there because of so few doctors. We do what we can.
