They close at 10:45am on weekdays. They literally lock the door at 10:45am, and on Saturday and Sunday, they close at 8am. So please take this into consideration, or you might find yourself missing your dose.
Also, you have to be there by 9am if you are picking up take-home doses.
I think the hours they have listed, which is 5am to 1pm, might be when the working hours of nurses and counselors. But it does not refer to dosing hours.

The Bridge saved my son’s life. Everyone on staff treated him well and encouraged him on getting sober. Even after he successfully completed his time there they remained in contact to ensure he had all the support outside of there as well. My son chose to be there for all the right reasons and worked the program to ensure he would learn and recover. I can never thank the bridge and Dr. King enough in helping my son. There are very few places that offer adolescent substance abuse help and I am so thankful I found them.

The bridge is a great place. I went there twice but my first time i didn’t really care and was just doing the time and i knew i was going to do the same. I was only out for like 30 days then i had overdosed. When i had to go to court I had requested to go back because they were having a new program called oud/vega then the judge agreed to it. At first it was really rough because i was in pain and having headaches from the overdosed so i was waiting to go home then it hit me and i was talking more with my counselor and they helped me out a lot. Now i’m doing so much better i’m off probation and got a job. I’m sober now and i’m only 18 and i’m about to have my own house. I really recommend to go to The Bridge because they will really helpful and they are so nice. Thanks you for saving my life and getting the help i needed.

I was sent to the bridge, maybe 20 years ago....it was ran just like a boot camp (as it was surrounded by 3 boot camps)....i was there during hurricane katrina.....i obtained my GED from Gadsden State Community College while i was there....it wasn't that bad when i was there....i believe i did 45 days and i only seen 1 fight....we use to be up at 5 am running and doing pushups (pt)....i seen a few people pushed to throwing up while doing the pt....but we played sports everyday and went to school....i don't remember the staff 2 well,im sure they're all gone anyway.....if i remember right,u got a visit after 3 weeks.... all in all the 45 days i spent at the bridge was a major part in my childhood.... and i still carry some of the boot camp like discipline today

I have been to hospitals in Birmingham in Huntsville and I called us the name brand Hospital. Every one of them wanted to over-medicate me which made me very over sedated to the point where I couldn't function. Someone recommended Mountain View and I went there and it's been 20 years now and I'm stable. That place has saved my life. So for anybody that puts a negative review for Mountain View there must be a personal issue because I can't see that happening. The staff is great. I've seen one specific doctor for the past 15 years and he's the most empathetic doctor that I've ever met in my life. He cares about what's going on he doesn't overmedicate. And he is so patient and he listens and he really cares and you don't find doctors like that anymore and the psychiatric category anyway. Most doctors want to overmedicate to the person just doesn't feel anything anymore. They don't want to diagnose certain disorders because they don't want to deal with them all you have to do is research. If you go in not liking the place you're not going to like it. That goes for any facility. But it's a really good place. I know this to be true. I would say try some of the most popular for hospitals in Birmingham and in Huntsville or wherever and then come back and do a review.

I was very satisfied with my experience at Bradford. I received excellent care from my treatment team and did an amazing amount of healing during my stay. My mental and physical health are better than they've been in years. My only regret is not coming to Bradford sooner.

This clinic is just like any other good one. This is a good place to start your recovery. Yes, treatment costs money. Yes, you have to follow their(and the states') rules. Yes, you have to want and try to better yourself.

Great service! Social workers are very professional at understanding each they are assigned to. The rest of the staff (doctors, nurses, counselors) work very hard to provide each client the service they paid for

If you want the help it's there please people leave the fentanyl alone and go get some help it's there I promise you have to work for your sobriety just like you worked for your addiction

This treatment center has help me and my family have a real chance at a very good life.. This treatment may not be the answer for some people but for me and some of my family members and close friends it has saved our lives and gave us a chance to have a second chance ... I may continue treatment for the rest of my life and i am okay with that cause its better than the life i had before.My councillor. I started going to the methadone clinic after my daughter was born. I have never been arrested and I figured it would be really hard to be a dad while in active addiction. That was in 2001. I've moved around to different places, Gadsden, Trussville, Tuscaloosa and others. I really loved the people in Tuscaloosa and hated leaving. I had to return to the Oxford area, to help with my mom who was terminal with cancer. When I transferred back to Oxford they were great. I loved the staff. At one point they were down to a skeleton crew, they did the best they could at the time with what they had. They have gotten more staff now and they are wonderful. I don't feel like my number so much. Yes, they are strict on the rules but look at what they deal with. I can manipulate just about anyone as an active addict. We all have that power. It comes with the territory. Thank you everyone at the Oxford,Al clinic.

My whole life I've heard horror stories about the VA. The last 2.5 years we have lived with my dad to take care of him. I have nothing but great things to say about the Oxford VA and the nationwide VA pharmacy. They take great care of my dad and are VERY thorough with his care. The nurses treat him like gold and flirt with him, which he loves. They provide almost anything he needs: some of his prescriptions, a hospital bed, liquid thickener, oxygen tank, eye services, psychiatric services, etc. Any time I have had to call they have been sooooo polite and helpful. Same with the pharmacy. I forgot to re-order one of my dad's prescriptions and they got it to me by the NEXT day. The VA isn't perfect, but I feel like they really care about their veterans and their health.

I have nothing but good things to say about this VA Clinic location. The staff are friendly, helpful and service is always very professional and prompt. I enjoyed meeting Dr Coker today. He is friendly, kind and listens to what you have to say. I transferred my care here from that train wreck Rainbow City location. MUCH happier here!
