I have been to hospitals in Birmingham in Huntsville and I called us the name brand Hospital. Every one of them wanted to over-medicate me which made me very over sedated to the point where I couldn't function. Someone recommended Mountain View and I went there and it's been 20 years now and I'm stable. That place has saved my life. So for anybody that puts a negative review for Mountain View there must be a personal issue because I can't see that happening. The staff is great. I've seen one specific doctor for the past 15 years and he's the most empathetic doctor that I've ever met in my life. He cares about what's going on he doesn't overmedicate. And he is so patient and he listens and he really cares and you don't find doctors like that anymore and the psychiatric category anyway. Most doctors want to overmedicate to the person just doesn't feel anything anymore. They don't want to diagnose certain disorders because they don't want to deal with them all you have to do is research. If you go in not liking the place you're not going to like it. That goes for any facility. But it's a really good place. I know this to be true. I would say try some of the most popular for hospitals in Birmingham and in Huntsville or wherever and then come back and do a review.

The bridge is a great place. I went there twice but my first time i didn t really care and was just doing the time and i knew i was going to do the same. I was only out for like 30 days then i had overdosed. When i had to go to court I had requested to go back because they were having a new program called oud/vega then the judge agreed to it. At first it was really rough because i was in pain and having headaches from the overdosed so i was waiting to go home then it hit me and i was talking more with my counselor and they helped me out a lot. Now i m doing so much better i m off probation and got a job. I m sober now and i m only 18 and i m about to have my own house. I really recommend to go to The Bridge because they will really helpful and they are so nice. Thanks you for saving my life and getting the help i needed.
