Just got home from that facility. For me that was a Vacation house 😄just relaxing and playing amd always have snacks in the area.
I just finished my puzzle Work that has 1,000pcs in 5days. I asked other nurse to take picture as a remembrance but they dont want coz they said its not allowed but 1 Nurse was so nice and friendly to me and grant my request 😉. I like Her. Yes they are nice there they treat you good but i was expecting like this nurse or tech(doesnt need to be a doctor) or anyone works there are gonna talk to you face to face everyday to listen and help you mentally. But they are not. Only doctors ask me how am i but was a fast talk.
So it was like rather a patient to patient talk. U know people having mental problem is listening to other patients also with mental problem just weird but it helps somehow.
Enjoying playing card UNO with co-Patients was fun! I made friends, been a while since i talked alot with people outside the house and it feels good. Just 4stars bcoz nurse or techs didnt rely the message to each other about the food that is reserved for me. They gave me different food and i was pissed off. 1/26/25
But i still want to go back there. I prefer to stay there than the house here.

Before joining Murphy Harpst I didn't think "loving a job" was ever a thing. Working for the youth has been such a blessing in my life. While working with youth with mental health or behavioral, there will always be challenges and obstacles, but also come with rewarding and heartfelt memories. I have seen and been part of Murphy Harpst's continuous improvements to provide the best. My shout-outs go to Ms. Melody, Ms. Nyoka, Dr.Tony, and Mrs.Tammy. I recently had the privilege of spending a week at Willowbrooke Mental Institute, and I must say it was a truly transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm and serenity wash over me, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the warm welcome from the staff. The facilities were top-notch, with spacious rooms and a serene atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. The therapy sessions were led by experienced professionals who were knowledgeable and empathetic, and the group sessions were engaging and thought-provoking. But what really impressed me was the sense of community that permeated every aspect of the program. From the daily activities to the meals, everything was designed to promote connection and camaraderie among the residents. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt supported and included, and I left feeling like I was part of a true community rather than just a patient. Overall, my experience at Willowbrooke was nothing short of exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a compassionate and effective approach to mental health treatment.

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.
People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

This place literally saved my life, my career, and my family. I was "functioning" in my opinion, but I was really blind to what was happening around me.
My marriage was falling apart, my career was spiraling slowly downwards, my kids had a parent who was always drinking at home, and who might show up to a soccer game or a cheerleading contest drunk and loud and embarrassing.
The truth was that I was dying in front of my kids and my spouse, my job was dying, but I thought I was living.
I too came here under the "6 to 8 week" suggestion, but I knew how it goes. Admissions will usually tell someone that just to get them in. I was not naive in that fashion.
Yes, some reviews say "bait and switch" or "I was told this at the beginning", but what they are not telling you is that everyone gets evaluated when they first get here, and based on cognitive tests, and how messed up you and your life are, patients either leave a little earlier, right on time, or they need a little more time (like me).
I figured that I drank and used drugs for years, and that it would take more than under two months for me to even begin to get better.
I learned new skills, got great therapy and education and care from the staff, and after 3 1/2 months I came back home. I work in television production, and my co-workers and bosses were so supportive and understanding. My family...took a little while before the trust and love came back, but it did eventually, and it feels good because I put in a lot of hard work.
Listen, I know a lot of people come to treatment for the "band aid" to fix whatever problem is slapping them in the face. But if you really, truly want to get well, get sober, and get the kind of help you need, there is no better place than Talbott. You might have to stay a little longer than those other "spin-dry" types of rehabs that just keep recycling patients who keep relapsing, but I swear this place works miracles. I am living proof.

Hope Harbor Wellness is a drug treatment facility in Hiram, Georgia which is just 30 miles west of Atlanta. With statistics showing an increase in drug overdoses in Georgia in recent years, Hope Harbor Wellness recognized a need to help address these hea | Programs Payment Options | The journey of my recovery has definitely been a rollercoaster. I had to be court ordered to a program for a year. With devastation, I packed my bags and entered Hope Harbor hopeless and full of resentments for myself and the ones around me. To my surprise, this year has been the biggest blessing I could have received. The staff at Hope Harbor care about their clients and helped me cope immensely with my situation. As funny as it may seem, the clients and staff became like a second family to me. The groups are set to help those dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, and it did just that. I’ve not only seen my life change before my eyes, but I’ve seen other clients excel and become an even more beautiful version of themselves. Self love is something many battle with daily, but the staff encourage and show clients different ways to show love for themselves and others. I have been inspired and filled with honor to witness the change in others and myself. Thank you for everything Hope Harbor. I would recommend this place above all others.

Hope Harbor Wellness Gave Me My Life Back
Walking into Hope Harbor Wellness after completing detox from fentanyl, I was overwhelmed, unsure, and full of fear. I didn’t know what to expect — and like many in early recovery, I was skeptical. But from the very beginning, something felt different here. I was immediately welcomed with warmth, compassion, and a sense of safety that I hadn’t felt in years.
The staff at Hope Harbor are truly one-of-a-kind. They are not just professionals — they are people who genuinely care, deeply and selflessly. They don’t clock out when the day ends. There is support here 24 hours a day. Whether you need someone to talk to, cry with, vent to, or just sit quietly beside so you don’t feel alone, there is always someone there. That kind of constant, unconditional presence made all the difference for me. I never felt judged — only seen, heard, and understood.
One of the most powerful things about Hope Harbor Wellness is that many of the staff are in recovery themselves. They’re not just here for a paycheck — they’re here because they get it. They’ve walked the same path and know firsthand how hard it can be, which makes their support feel that much more genuine. They are living proof that recovery is possible, that you can overcome addiction, and go on to live a happy, sober, and fulfilling life. Having them by your side — people who truly understand — makes all the difference.
Going through PHP and IOP at Hope Harbor was the best decision I could’ve made for my recovery. This isn’t just a program — it’s a lifeline. They teach you how to live again, how to build real coping skills, and how to navigate the real world without falling back into addiction. They meet you where you are, walk beside you through the process, and help you build a foundation for a better future.
I’m beyond grateful — more than words can really say. Hope Harbor didn’t just help me stay clean. They helped me heal. They helped me believe in myself again. They helped me realize that I’m not alone, and that recovery is possible — one day at a time.
If you’re struggling and don’t know where to turn, this is the place. Hope Harbor Wellness truly saves lives — and they saved mine.

Thi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is a clean clinic and has many great qualities that can very much help your road to sobriety! However, the main issue here is the CONSTANT councilor change! As soon as one gets comfortable with their counselor, they leave. It is such piece of mind to build a relationship with your councilor and the nurses, just so you can have that report and someone that knows you and can be in your corner if ever needed. There are alot of patients that are not there for the right reasons, then there are also alot of patients that ARE there for the right reasons. The constant change certainly does not give one peace of mind. Familiar faces change places. My fiancé currently does not have insurance and is unemployed at this time. I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that’s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I had my first appointment today. I could not be more pleased with how much the staff cares about my mental health. From the receptionist, to the nurse, to the nurse practitioner, they were all fantastic, pleasant, informative and really seemed to want to see me get the help I need to live a normal life. I am looking forward to my mental health healing journey with this practice.

This was my first time using the VA for medical and it was a pleasant experience. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.

This AMAZING place is honestly the best of all, hands down.
From the doctor, director Jennifer, miss Holly amazing nurses especially Yolanda, and many more especially when you are recovering in recovery the amazing counselor's , such as sweet, caring, and supportive while REALLY LISTENING AND KEEPING IT REAL and making you feel comfortable and in a safe place is just a big perk in recovery. Counselor/therapist Ames. Adrienne has really helped me with so much.
But I do want anyone who is reading this that knows someone or if you are struggling with addiction and ready to live a good life if you are scared to do it cold turkey or don't have the support or financial to pay for rehab or detox and all that this is the best place to do it and recovery can happen in all different forms cold turkey clinics Suboxone and it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it and make a difference in your life and better yourself but this is the place to go and is a great option if you're open to it and ready to do it just make sure you're open ready and you want it and I encourage you that this clinic is the clinic for you or anyone if you know anyone struggling . And they also take health insurance and offer a new health insurance called ambetter that will cover all costs as well so reach out if you need to and make a change start it today.
