I appreciate the dedication of the staff to caring, and getting patients the help they need. I recently had the privilege of spending a week at Willowbrooke Mental Institute, and I must say it was a truly transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm and serenity wash over me, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the warm welcome from the staff. The facilities were top-notch, with spacious rooms and a serene atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. The therapy sessions were led by experienced professionals who were knowledgeable and empathetic, and the group sessions were engaging and thought-provoking. But what really impressed me was the sense of community that permeated every aspect of the program. From the daily activities to the meals, everything was designed to promote connection and camaraderie among the residents. I was forced to go to highland rivers. They serve tasty food. They have good movies to watch and great books to read. I wish they had some flip flops for these patients. Patients be walking around with the clothes they came in and it gets uncomfortable if you get your bra taken away due to the metal wires inside of the bra. I had such a terrible experience at Highland Rivera that I never want to kill myself again. I wish they had more compassion for their patients and I wish the staff got paid more for the work they do.

I have been learning to live with a horrible disease that can only be treated and never cured. I love Mrs. Burnadette. Excuse my spelling mistakes. I have no clue how to spell anything anymore. She works the front desk and she is excellent at it. Then there’s Ms. Ava she is wonderful. She doesn’t judge me at all for any changes in my vitals. She asks me about my mental pain and my health problems. She’s very understanding but she’s stern about skipping doses of medicine and waiting till I’m empty to order a refill especially if it’s the last one and they have to call Dr.Patel. To get an ok and it may take a couple days. That’s a very big No No. I absolutely love Dr.Patel. He listens to me and wants me to know that he cares about my illness and he wants to help me learn and put to work some coping skills for my life. Things are not the same and I’m going to have to learn how to live in my own way and learn how to be happy again. I am so happy to have such an amazing doctor that is trying to help me find a way to get happy in my new life. I trust everything he says and hopefully he will always be my doctor. and friend!

I wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am to this facility and the incredible team (special shout out to my therapist Angela and Josh )who work here. Upon arrival I was going through it. From the very beginning the staff welcomed me with compassion, respect, and patience. Not only did they provide incredible treatment- they provided me with a family-like support. I felt understood, safe, and valued.
The therapists and facilitators earnestly listened and helped me navigate through the most difficult time of my life . Thanks to them I made progress and built confidence, learned healthier ways to cope, and began to learn how to love myself. I never felt alone, and felt encouraged and cared for each and every step of the way.

This was my first time using the VA for medical and it was a pleasant experience. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.

There will ALWAYS be people who disagree with their therapists or take issue with what is said in any given session. Good therapy, sound therapy starts with listening first, asking questions, providing thoughtful suggestions, and shining light on emotionally charged situations.
Andy does this and more. His experience and advice changed the trajectory of my life. Was it magic? Absolutely not. To make changes in your life, you have to do the work. Great counselors, such as Andy, are life coaches. They give you advice, sometimes push boundaries, and subconsciously plant seeds. Seeds that need time to grow.
Some people use counseling as a venue for "let me dump my problems and my feelings on you." In other words, I am paying you to listen to my point of view and accept it. Good counseling will listen to your challenges, but it should leave you with something you can think about and put into practice in your life.
Without a doubt, Andy has approached a career of caring and for those willing, helping them improve the quality of their life.

My review is solely based on one therapist at this practice, Kelli Spencer. I had gone to two other therapists (at other locations) prior to seeing Kelli. I had almost given up hope but decided to try one more therapist. That was over a year & a half ago and it was probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Kelli has gently guided me through so many different events in my life. She has continously fostered a safe and stable place for me to be open. As soon as you begin to talk, she is instantly engaged and focused on what you are saying. She offers different types of therapies while also being mindful & respectful of what you are interested in trying. Every single time I leave an appointment with her I feel refreshed and tranquil. I have recommended her to various friends and would recommend her to anyone in need of a therapist. I could not be more happy (and lucky) to have her as a therapist. yall, give her a call! You wont regret it
