I went there twice but my first time i didn’t really care and was just doing the time and i knew i was going to do the same. I was only out for like 30 days then i had overdosed. When i had to go to court I had requested to go back because they were having a new program called oud/vega then the judge agreed to it. At first it was really rough because i was in pain and having headaches from the overdosed so i was waiting to go home then it hit me and i was talking more with my counselor and they helped me out a lot. Now i’m doing so much better i’m off probation and got a job. I’m sober now and i’m only 18 and i’m about to have my own house. I really recommend to go to The Bridge because they will really helpful and they are so nice. Thanks you for saving my life and getting the help i needed. Josh Molina 1 year ago I was sent to the bridge, maybe 20 years ago....it was ran just like a boot camp (as it was surrounded by 3 boot camps)....i was there during hurricane katrina.....i obtained my GED from Gadsden State Community College while i was there....it wasn't that bad when i was there....i believe i did 45 days and i only seen 1 fight....we use to be up at 5 am running and doing pushups (pt)....i seen a few people pushed to throwing up while doing the pt....but we played sports everyday and went to school....i don't remember the staff 2 well,im sure they're all gone anyway.....if i remember right,u got a visit after 3 weeks.... all in all the 45 days i spent at the bridge was a major part in my childhood.... and i still carry some of the boot camp like discipline today Trae trae88 (Trae_trae88) 2 years ago

I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. Ive never dosed then left without completely doing everything required of me so I shouldn't be treated like ive done something wrong. Everyone from my personal counselor Ms.Gooden, to my support specialist Mr Hughey and administrator Mr. Terry. Even their billing team went out of their way to help me get set up on the day they could see me and also helped me find benefits that I did not know were available. Dr. Atchley is a great Dr. and you will see he cares about everyone. The nurses are very professional and caring as well. I have been using this clinic for about 15 years and it has gone through some rough times. At one point some of us had contacted the IG because appointment wait time was 3 or 4 hours. This issue was fixed along with a number of other issues. I suggest for those who have had bad experiences try again. A new clinic has opened on November 15,2021. It is right beside Oxford Lowes. For now I will give 4 stars. After my upcoming appointments I may reevaluate. I have to upgrade my review to 5 stars. The addition of Audio and Optometry to this new clinic has definitely made life easier. The service here has improved 💯 percent over what it was at the old location. The staff is amazing and I have a lot of appointments, so I'm not just a frequent visitor. A special thanks to all the staff who serve us with dignity and honor. I was scheduled for an endioscopice exam with a liver biopsy. All of the staff were very professional and thoroughly explained all steps of the procedures. The procedure went as planned and the aftercare was excellent. Dr. Eloubeidi and his staff the most professional staff and care for all of their patients with genuine concern. I have received a bile stent every six months to prevent a critical bile duct obstruction. This week I began showing sighs of jaundice and bile obstruction with an infection. We contacted Dr. Eloubeidi immediately and he confirmed out concerns of a septis infection that could have been fatal left untreated. Dr. Eloubeidi scheduled me for an emergency bile stent replacement. He also prescribed antibiotics for the infection prior to my surgery. We made the three hour drive early Friday morning to Birmingham Regional Medical Center where I was checked in right away. The regional medical staff ensured that I was prepped for surgery and that I had everything to be comfortable. The surgery was on schedule and there were no complications. What could have been fatal became a second chance at life. I owe my life to the medical staff at Regional Medical Center. There isn't a way to properly thank these professionals who have dedicated their lives to the care of their patients. The best I can offer is mine and my family's heart felt thank you. If you want the best medical care for you or you family I would highly recommend Regional Medical Center for the best quality health care.
