| Addiction can start at an early age, and getting your child the right care while they’re still young can make an immense difference for them. That’s the focus of Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center. This facility is a behavioral health treatment center for kids and teens in Dothan, Alabama. In this facility’s residential treatment program, | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My son was here from 6-2-25 until 6-13-25. He told me the place was very clean, nice, food was good, staff was great and he had no complaints. From speaking with all the staff on the phone when checking up on him everyone seemed very friendly, caring and understanding. The therapist Heather Rice has been excellent. Also Natasha was great with gathering info for me any time I called. I’ve spoken to them several times since he’s been there. I recommend Laurel Oaks to anyone that’s seeking help for their kids with behavioral issues.

The staff at Laurel Oaks went above and beyond for my child. I do not understand why there are bad reviews. My husband, child and I are very pleased with the intake, discharge and the duration and treatment of my child’s stay. Mrs. Karen is by the greatest lady I have delt with.she genuinely cares about my son. We had many obstacles over the last 5 years with his ADHD and she was always following up checking in finding the best solution for him and our family. She has even helped us with the school to get recommendations to tge programs the school was dragging thier feet on. Mrs Jennifer was our child and family coordinator/ therapist and she was more than patient with us. My son loves her and tho he doesn't see her anymore she has made an everlasting impact in all our lives and family as a whole.

Very disappointed with this place. Tabitha does not care about trying to help people. I have been going to her for a few years now and I knew she wasn’t helping me but what really got to me is that she knows everything about my brother and what we are going threw but when we had a chance to get him help and back on his meds, she has the nerves to say that he is fine even tho he has attacked my dad 2 times now and she knows this. She also knows that this is one of my problems that I am trying to deal with. I swear if anything happens to my brother or my dad then I will come after this place and her. I blame them and will take them to court. Tabitha does not needs to be in this line of work

Exceptional Service from Tina Carter Pearl – A True Asset to Bridgeway Center
I rarely write reviews, but the extraordinary assistance I received from Tina Carter Pearl at the Bridgeway Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida deserves the highest praise imaginable. Tina is, without question, one of the most dedicated and tenacious professionals I’ve encountered in my 30 years as a retired US Navy Command Master Chief.
Faced with the notoriously difficult task of obtaining documentation from the Veterans Administration—specifically from the James A. Haley Mental Health Center in Temple Terrace—Tina tackled the challenge with the determination of a bulldog. She never lost focus, never gave up, and never left me in the dark. Her persistence in contacting the VA, coordinating with Amy there, and ensuring my course was properly recorded not just at Bridgeway but at the state level was nothing short of heroic.
Tina kept me informed every step of the way, demonstrating a level of care, professionalism, and follow-through that is increasingly rare in today’s workforce. Her “can-do” attitude and relentless pursuit of resolution made me feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for.
If I were still building teams in the Navy, I’d recruit her in a heartbeat. She is an absolute asset to your organization, and I hope her efforts are recognized not just with gratitude—but with a well-deserved raise. Employees like Tina don’t just represent your company—they elevate it.
Thank you, Tina, for going above and beyond. You made a difficult process manageable, and you did it with grace, grit, and excellence.
Best Regards,
