Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

BayView Professional Associates – Fairhope works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are designed for clients in early recovery and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Clients in IOP attend outpatient therapy sessions for a minimum of nine hours per week but clients may receive as many as 20 hours of IOP treatment weekly. Sessions generally occur in 3-5 hour blocks, in which time clients engage in some combination of medication assisted treatment (MAT), psychotherapy, recovery skills training, or complementary care.

Inpatient rehab is designed primarily for clients exiting detox, people in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Participants reside at the rehab facility until they complete their treatment program. This allows them to focus solely on their recovery, away from outside distractions, stressors, and addiction triggers. Inpatient drug rehab typically involves extensive addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and complementary therapies.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. With a comprehensive substance abuse evaluation, addiction experts provide individualized treatment plans to cater to your individual needs. These programs address substance use disorders using evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), counseling, and recovery support groups.

Called this office to make an appointment, specifically an in person appointment with Dr Cronin, was told that the next available appoinment was over 4 weeks out. We took it. Fast forward to the week of the appointment and we received a text to confirm a telehealth appointment. I called the office immediately to confirm that we had originally requested an in person appointment and that a telehealth would not work for us. I then was told that they had changed it to in person so thought we were all set. Fast forward to the day of the appointment (2 days later) , I received a call to confirm a telehealth appointment!! When I responded that would not work, and that we have already been waiting 4 to 5 weeks the response from the office was that Dr Cronin was not in the office . I then spoke to the office manager, Margaret, she told me that the next in person availability would be a further 6 weeks out!, also, she made no attempt to offer an apology or make amends . Ridiculous customer service. There's a reason why this office has a 2.7 star rating. We called a different provider, about 15 miles away, they could see us the next day. I see a generic, non personal response from 'the owner' has since been posted. Don't you just hate that . I doubt there will be any repercussions.

Response from the owner
