Had the BEST experience from my pre-op appointment to surgery recovery area. Everyone was customer oriented, walking you through the hospital so I wouldn't get lost, explaining every part of the process and then Dr. Finan!!! He is so kind and professional. Also, i have rolling veins and they had the IV in with two sticks....other hospital it took eleven tries. Singing River Pascagoula was great!!

All of the check-in processes was easy and was quickly executed. The Reception staff was very helpful and friendly.
I waited about an hour before I was taken to preform my test. The Radiology staff was very friendly and considerate.
Total time from registration to test completed was about two hours.

Had an app today with the psychiatrist Dr. Olson. She was very rude and impolite. I moved here from another state and she wants to take me off of medication that I've been on for years and was PRESCRIBED BY A DOCTOR. Horrible first experience. Won't be returning.

I cannot describe how excellent level of care is that I receive here. Everyone is incredibly kind and empathetic. I am forever grateful for my therapist, Mary, and Catie, my PA. The staff were amazing. Detox they took very good care Of me. No one knew my bad behavior, caused by seizures. 5 different types. Walking talking worst. I'm mean violent, after seizures. They dealt with me, kindly, I wasn't nice at all. I still have doctors they set me up with. 5/6 years ago, I was there. Before you judge staff, look at yourself. Detox, is hard. I initially gave this clinic a bad review. I was sick and couldn't get seen. However, once I got through the initial screening (this appointment takes some time). I found them to be extremely competent. And they care. They are a small clinic with few people and limited resources. But, they are VERY thorough. Be patient, they are under the control of VAMC Jackson. We all know how bad Jackson VA is (except our useless congressmen and senators, I suppose).
My advice is as follows:
1. Get a clinic appointment. Try to get Dr. Bowling. She will get to the bottom of any medical problem. This lady is tenacious when it comes to her vets!
2.Sign up for myhealthevet. Once you make an account, upgrade to the premium account. It will say you have to send in a form for the premium account. Just call the 800 number and have the service person upgrade it for you. They're very helpful. This will allow you to order health records, check prescriptions, communicate with you're health team. In other words bypass the VA bureaucracy.
Sorry for the long post. Hope it helps.

They DO NOT take healthy blue like the website says. I have been going here for about 4 months now and they just keep saying they are waiting on the paperwork or something. They should really take it down from the website and contact medicaid and let them know they are not taking it cause healthy blue is the one who gave me this doctors info cause they said that they took my insurance but that wasn't the case. Other than that I love applegate recovery and all the employees , everyone is really nice and understanding.

I was worried after reading all these negative reviews, my mom doesn’t speak much English so I was scared the staff would mistreat her , but I spoke with her everyday and she said the staff was very kind , she mentioned they take showers daily , get new scrubs everyday. The facility did smell like urine . I was also able to visit her , a counselor (Angelle Hobbs) got a hold of me and was very communicative . Which put my mind at ease .

My wife went there with a breakdown. She is fragile both mentally and physically. The treated her with love and kindness. We are blessed to have found such a warm and loving place. May God bless and keep the entire staff. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Our son had been fighting with an addiction for 4 months when we found out, in an attempt to help him we took him to 2 different centers, the difference was huge, at the behavioral medicine center of baptist we met the most caring people in the world. They understood our situation and because of their experience were able to get us calmed and assured our son improvement in no time. Since this is such a complicate and sensitive matter it was of crucial importance the attitudes the hospital staff showed with us. 10/10.
