Incredible Spiritual Boot Camp - In the Best Way!
Wow! If you're serious about getting right with God and yourself, Home of Grace is the place. They say it's like "3 years of church in 90 days," and they aren't kidding! The intensity of the spiritual teachings, the quality of the classes, and the dedication of the teachers and preachers are unparalleled. I learned so much about faith, forgiveness, and God's grace. The beautiful grounds provided a tranquil space for prayer and contemplation, which was so important for my journey. For what they offer – a complete spiritual and personal overhaul – the cost is unbelievably reasonable. My heart is full, and my relationship with the Lord has never been stronger

Thank you for all that you do for us.
Every time I visit the VA, I’m treated with a level of care and respect that humbles me. I’m welcomed, listened to, and cared for in ways I don’t feel deserving of, yet the staff consistently go above and beyond.
The professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern shown by every team member makes a real difference. I’m grateful for the way they serve veterans with dignity and compassion.
Thank you for treating me like a king when all I expect is basic help. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

Note, this review is only for the mental health buildings 19 and 25. I agree with others that the main hospital gets mixed results. Patient advocate's office is your friend for reporting incidents.
I'm an Army veteran with two deployments. I came here for a 30-day residential program to get my PTSD under control. To any veteran reading this: it truly works, if you do.
The medical staff was incredible—from the counselors and psychiatrists to the amazing nurses. They stabilized me, got my medications squared away, and then we did the CPT work that really brought the healing: but you have to want it and work hard for it.
The other veterans in our groups were a huge part of it too. We all shared very similar symptoms, and that does something powerful—you instantly feel like you belong and you're not fighting this alone.
My family noticed the difference by the 10th day.
I thank God for sending me here, and the only thing I regret is waiting so long.
If you’re a veteran fighting alone--feeling angry, numb, or isolating yourself from the world, then consider giving this place a try. Walking through the door may be the hardest step (incredibly hard, honestly), but it might also change your life the way it changed mine.

Alta Pointe has helped my brother tremendously these past four years. The therapist he had the first time he came helped him so much with giving him tools and so many resources. He had recently gotten a new therapist about a few months ago and she is the absolute best. My brother loves going to her and truly enjoys the work they do in their session. My brother always shares with me the resources and advice he gets from each session and the crafts they do haha. Also, the doctor (Dr. Bray) is a real Godsend. My mom and brother loves her so much. I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional, quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems, but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

My mother was admitted for 10 days (released in 5) I asked her about her experience there and she had nothing but GOOD things to say. Everyone/staff were very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. 3 good, healthy meals daily (i.e. pancakes, sausage, syrup, baked fish over rice with mixed vegatbles). Snacks twice a day. She was able to use the phone any time during hours. They went outside twice a day to do group therapy. There is a dayroom with t.v. with games/colors/drawing. Leaving a review on purely the juvenile side.
Firstly it does offer benefits and the staff do try to help you out to the extent of their ability to, though the amount of care or help you get is Highly dependent on what staff is working in your unit on that specific day so at times its iffy to say the least, they do offer schooling Wich is a plus. Laundry is done for you if you set it within a laundry basket at the end of the day Wich is also great as well as 3 meals Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner. and 3 snacks a day.
You usually get put in a room with a roommate but if your a no roommate person (The reason you sent there usually) Decides if you are an no roommate person and not allowed to have one.
Things this place needs...
Firstly some roommates are disgusting and cant clean up after themselves and it unhygienic would be nice to have someone clean it out.
Secondly more availability to people who CAN change things for example, medicine, room, portions of food. all of that and get your stuff brought in approved... because doctors are only available at certain times and you cant just sit down and talk when you want Wich kinda sucks but I do understand they have stuff to do.
Thirdly from a patient perspective it seems sorta-kinda understaffed and like their underpaid sometimes by the way some staff just don't care.. you ask them for something and their dismissive or tell you to shut up.
All and all if some issues are fixed and certain things are improved upon this could help more people in the future, I hope this review is taken into consideration and maybe things could be changed? like reviewing staff behavior towards the youth side.
Thoughtfully
