This is a really good place if you are serious about wanting to recover. There is a lot of freedom In this program seeings you can leave everyday to work so I would say that this is not the best choice of program if you are coming straight off of the drugs you should pry go to a higher level of care first then here. When your on campus it is pretty structured not a lot of free time they definitely don t just want your money as others have said they Hardily take anything that compare to the services and food and shelter they provide speaking of witch there is an amazing cook there Mike he prepares all the food which is of 5 star quality a lot of variety and always good. Staff really cares for you here they want to see you succeed really it all depends on what attitude you bring to the table that determines how sussceful and good your stay here will be. Thank you to all the staff for everything y all do.

My mother was admitted to the hospital for a flare-up of her congestive heart failure. Although she was in the ED for just about 36 hours due to no beds available, when she got upstairs into a room, it was lovely. The room was spacious and a great ambiance for being in the hospital. The staff was great, and I never had an issue with the RN or CNA. They were happy to help my mom when needed and checked in. My mom got transferred to Mobile Infirmary. I miss Thomas Hospital! Lol.

I will say that when I learned that it was a nonprofit set up I was apprehensive, However over my 60+ years I have been to four or five different licensed Counselors, and one nonprofit as well.I found the Individuals providing I intake there was a rather condescending less than friendly, or I should say less than professional never underestimate someone on the other side of the desk everybody s got something to talk about lucky you in any case I continued on as a result of my Insurance I had no other shorts today. I am thrilled that I did. The counselor That I was placed with has been the most help I ve ever ExperiencedMary is patient,,professional, with a nice friendly vibe. So, hang there through the process until you end up where you need to be and you may find things to be different with the business side of things. One thing I did notice as I looked back I felt insulted during the intake, It was Reinforced that what was said During my intake was not necessary. So not a good vibe, Also sometimes when we would rather not be vulnerable. So be Patient with yourself and some people .. that s just who they are. :)Give this place a chance..

THE ONE IN Panama city is the worst, long lines no phasing past 6 and you are treated like a criminal. Bei.g a phase 27 that was out of the question for me so I enrolled here. The people were great, the clinic was efficient clean and friendly my issues were that it was over 200 miles round trip and the biggest they stand there and watch you pee. I have shy bladder and was to the point of having to use a catheter because it was taking an hour or more to do a urine sample.I transferred to Tallahassee clinic the drive was a little shorter but they just pat you down before a urine test so that made it way easier BUT the Tallahassee clinic has huge turnover and currently just 2 councelors, they are more interested in squeezing money than helping even at phase 27 they want you to attend 2 groups a month, 4 so called physicals a year and so on...dont get me wrong, the counselors are good and want to help but it is obvious that they have thier hands tied by corporate. If lakeview could use cameras pat downs or anything other than the stand and stare method for tests i would transfer bsck despite the extra drive...yall PLEASE give that some thought i know I speak for others ss well...you have a really good clinic with really good people you shouldnt abuse patients and staff with this archaic practice.

If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems, but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

Revision! After calming down I m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I ve done everything text book as im asked when I m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended take homes and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn t do that. When I ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way.OriginalThis place is garbage! Everybody s gotta go by the rules but the counselors. Be prepared to wait 2.5-3 hours every day no matter what!

Alta Pointe has helped my brother tremendously these past four years. The therapist he had the first time he came helped him so much with giving him tools and so many resources. He had recently gotten a new therapist about a few months ago and she is the absolute best. My brother loves going to her and truly enjoys the work they do in their session. My brother always shares with me the resources and advice he gets from each session and the crafts they do haha. Also, the doctor (Dr. Bray) is a real Godsend. My mom and brother loves her so much. She is always going above and beyond for my brother. Thank you guys from my family and I for everything you do! We truly appreciate the work, every resource, tool, advice you have given him so far. It truly helps him so much.
