I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

Daphne, AL | AltaPointe - EastPointe Hospital is a mental health treatment facility in Daphne, Alabama. They serve adults through inpatient treatment and aftercare services. Inpatient care usually serves as a starting point for those new to recovery because it’s the highest, most intensive level of | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Thought I would hop on here a leave a GOOD review for those who are concerned about admitting family or friends as I was. My mother was admitted for 10 days (released in 5) I asked her about her experience there and she had nothing but GOOD things to say. Everyone/staff were very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. 3 good, healthy meals daily (i.e. pancakes, sausage, syrup, baked fish over rice with mixed vegatbles). Snacks twice a day. She was able to use the phone any time during hours. They went outside twice a day to do group therapy. There is a dayroom with t.v. with games/colors/drawing. She said she needed to be there and it really helped her.
From my side, my mother suffers from bipolar schizophrenia and after several weeks of trying to help her we could not and she walked in during a complete mental breakdown. She could not communicate with me well, and could not distinguish fiction from reality when we decided to admit her. She was back on track in 5 days and has been recovering well at home with me ever since. They listened to her and sorted her medications back out. We were so grateful. My brother loved both Eastpointe and the staff.

Leaving a review on purely the juvenile side.
Firstly it does offer benefits and the staff do try to help you out to the extent of their ability to, though the amount of care or help you get is Highly dependent on what staff is working in your unit on that specific day so at times its iffy to say the least, they do offer schooling Wich is a plus. Laundry is done for you if you set it within a laundry basket at the end of the day Wich is also great as well as 3 meals Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner. and 3 snacks a day.
You usually get put in a room with a roommate but if your a no roommate person (The reason you sent there usually) Decides if you are an no roommate person and not allowed to have one.
Things this place needs...
Firstly some roommates are disgusting and cant clean up after themselves and it unhygienic would be nice to have someone clean it out.
Secondly more availability to people who CAN change things for example, medicine, room, portions of food. all of that and get your stuff brought in approved... because doctors are only available at certain times and you cant just sit down and talk when you want Wich kinda sucks but I do understand they have stuff to do.
Thirdly from a patient perspective it seems sorta-kinda understaffed and like their underpaid sometimes by the way some staff just don't care.. you ask them for something and their dismissive or tell you to shut up.
All and all if some issues are fixed and certain things are improved upon this could help more people in the future, I hope this review is taken into consideration and maybe things could be changed? like reviewing staff behavior towards the youth side.
Thoughtfully

I just want to say that God and this program saved my sons life. He was headed down a very dark path of addiction and depression. I have prayed for YEARS for him to be free of his addiction. But I wasn’t giving God enough credit, so that’s when He showed me how big and strong He is. Not only did He help my son break free from his addictions, He saved him. My son now has a personal relationship with God. Prior to this my son even told me he wasn’t sure there WAS a God. He has now completed his year there, and not only did he get saved and baptized (his choice...not a requirement or demand) he has chosen to stay and become an intern to help others with the same issues. He has done some public speaking, giving his testimony (which is amazing considering the things he did...also amazing he lived through it). I always told him that God had plans for him bigger than he could imagine. I’m here to tell you PRAYERS WORK! But I only prayed for his freedom from addictions. Not only did God do that, he went a step further and convicted him of listening to degrading rap music and gave him a voice to use to tell of His mercy that is freely given for all of us. He feels led to help others in similar situations. Praise and Glory to Him!! No, this is not “forced religion” as the previous review suggested. This is a program that tells you that God loves each and every one of us the same and wants us to come to the altar and ask for His help. He loves us so much that He gave His Only begotten son to save each and every one of us. I thank God for this wonderful program!! Instead of celebrating my sons graduation and promotion to internship, I could easily have been burying him had it not been for this program and Gods mercy.

Remove the soil from the water fountains at the main entrance. The appearance is a disgrace. Either use the fountain as intended or destroy it. The doctor is wonderful — caring, attentive, and easy to talk to. Breeze Anne and Joy both run great groups; you can tell they genuinely care about the patients and our recovery journeys. Breeze Anne especially goes above and beyond to make people feel supported and understood.
The wait times can get a little long, but it’s clear the staff are doing their best, especially with how many patients they serve. I also think it’s great that they’ve partnered with 904 Health — Unity, who works with them, is awesome and has been such a great addition to the clinic.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the new staff member who handles the drug testing. She isn’t very professional in how she speaks to patients — often talking down to them and creating unnecessary tension. There’s also a confusing sign on her door that says “knock and then wait,” yet she’s yelled at patients for knocking. It might help to replace that with something clearer, like “please wait to be called.”
Overall, New Seasons has done a great job hiring friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive staff — this one person just doesn’t reflect the otherwise amazing team. With that small change, I’d happily give them 5 stars.

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional, quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems, but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.

Amber is the greatest!!!! She went over and beyond to ensure I was able to keep my appointment today. Her customer service is top tier! I can’t remember the last time I spoke to someone, who deals with the public, that was enthusiastic to help and solution focused. I really can’t thank her enough for her kindness. She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion. Thank you, Amber.

Clients are provided a personalized plan t | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I posted a review a couple years ago when e wonderful hI went to alter point for help with serious long time opiate addiction that had my life upside down again and I was on the edge of despair. Hopeless and ready to end my life . Well alter point took me under their care. They were swamped with people way understaffed and way over worked . But they continued and still do helping people like me pick up the pieces and face out shame and all kinds of issues. Well I am 3 years totally clean and still go to alter point every month and still get the love and support these caring people give. Thank you alter point , you all are saving lives and making a difference. Anyone full of criticism should look at lives saved not lives lost. Thanks for my life.

Hi April can you please pass this along we the people of Altapointe watch other workers come and go they leave for various reasons some of the main reasons that we hear from them is its not enough pay and they just can't get with a 37.5 work week. For all of us who continue to stay because we love the company we love what we do. Even when people in the community try to talk bad about the company as well as you see a lot of the bashing on public forums. You have a lot of dedicated employees that take up for the company all we're asking is for a 40-hour work week instead of the outdated 37.5 times are hard for alot of people and for those who may not experience hard times and dont understand how a difference this can make for some God Bless You. We all love Tuerk he is a very Nice man and we all appreciate him.

Ok, so after almost two years with Dr. Sinclair I feel like I can give an honest review of my experience so far.
SO, as far as Sinclair goes, there is no one better in my opinion. He is caring, respectful and educated. He is the type of person you walk away from and the rest of your day is a little brighter.
However, the office staff? Oh lawd hammercy. It's a hot mess express. No one knows what's going on. Seems like no calls to the nurse line is documented, ever. I needed to be in his refill clinic and the nurse made me an appointment but for two months out and reassured me that I would be able to get refills even though my appointment was two months away. Found out that she made me an appointment with someone else (whom I've never seen) instead of Sinclair AFTER I requested refills through my pharmacy and got a call from the nurse saying that I couldn't because it was time to make an appointment. I told her I was scheduled and she told me it was with someone else so magically, she got me in the very next day with Sinclair for the refill clinic. Phew, that's just my recent experience with the staff. Lol
Anyway, I highly recommend Sinclair and I'll follow him anywhere he goes. My quality of life has just overall been better since he has been my doctor. I have switched medications soooooo many times to find the right med combo and he has been there in the trenches with me through it all. 11/10 stars!
