Mrs. Karen is by the greatest lady I have delt with.she genuinely cares about my son. We had many obstacles over the last 5 years with his ADHD and she was always following up checking in finding the best solution for him and our family. She has even helped us with the school to get recommendations to tge programs the school was dragging thier feet on. Mrs Jennifer was our child and family coordinator/ therapist and she was more than patient with us. My son loves her and tho he doesn't see her anymore she has made an everlasting impact in all our lives and family as a whole.

This has been a good, learning experience as a staff person working with individuals who need the help but don't want it. I have grown the know so many different personalities and how they operate. This job has taught me the true meaning of forgiveness, patience, love and kindness. No one talks about the staff who go out of their way to help with services. People are dissatisfied because they don't get to tell staff what to do and don't tolerate negative, condescending statements from those we serve. Bein respectful is an expectation. My son was here from 2/21/2026 to 3/3/2026. He told me the place was very clean, nice, food was good, staff was great and he had no complaints. He learned many coping skills to deal with his anger and frustration and seems to be in better spirits. From speaking with all the staff on the phone when checking up on him everyone seemed very friendly, caring and understanding. The therapist Heather Rice has been excellent. When my son went all weekend and no call, I reached out to her and she got him to call me later on in the day and explained what had happened. I highly recommend Laurel Oaks to anyone that’s seeking help for their kids with behavioral issues.

I'm giving them a 5 because the receptionist went out of her way to get my daughter setup in the system because the online patient intake DOES NOT WORK do not waste your time. I've been waiting since last year for a call back. It's been a week so far this time but she said 2 weeks for someone to reach out they're understaffed and loom for help.

This organization transformed my brothers life. He was lost in a drug addiction life for most of his life, until he found God in this center. Not only did it transform him, but it restored our family relationship and gave us a way to reach forgiveness for all that the addiction caused. He has an amazing life and a great relationship with his family now. My son is completely transformed. He is definitely on his way to becoming the man that God has called him to be. Teen challenge is absolutely hands down the answer to your love one's addiction. This 12 month program is your childs pathway to recovery. Believe in its culture and watch your love one grow into a productive adult. I would definitely recommend this program to all who struggles with your love one's addictions.

I was there from October 2023 to April 2024 to be honest it beat jail but that's about it. Their wasn't much they knew what to do with us. Get up early walk to breakfast. come back have a 15 minute group with your "word of the day.." then do random chores that some of the residents take pride in and all serious. When it hardly does anything just keep us busy. A nicotine group and then lunch. after this they either walk us to the gym or have another pointless group. By dinner people are getting back from work and then there's a 2 hour or so night group. I never got a job while I was there because they were afraid for me to work near smoke shops SMH.... I was really just there to please the court and not go to prison. To be honest I give it a 4 star because they really do try. if I was would've been there to get sober like others that I knew were there itd probably work...

I am a graduate from back in like 1982, there were 6 other graduates in my group, it wasn't easy but I learned some important life lessons and how to positively manipulate situations rather than negative manipulation or other behaviors. I got my GED and graduated highschool there. I left and while still a teenager a studied insurance and became very successful. I think much of it was due to what I learned there.

I wasn't an in-patient but I wasn't coming from a great place. I had just moved here and I'm blown away by the support this place has given me. I might not have been around for this review with them. Not all the docs are awesome and I have an issue with 15 minute psych appointments but that's the systems fault not theirs. But overall this place is amazing with people working hard to help their community and people in need. Also use their pharmacy, the chain store pharmacies rob us blind. A full hearted thank you to all who work here.

I highly recommend Apalachee to anyone struggling with mental health problems. I've been receiving therapy from Apalachee Center for years. They provided me with a VERY qualified professional therapist by the name of Sri Kothur. I've been doing therapy with Sri for over a year. Every time I speak with Sri, I gain critical insights about tailoring cognitive behavioral therapy methods to my specific personal mental health struggles. Before I received help from Apalachee, seemingly uncontrollable emotional episodes were ruining my life. Apalachee Center helped me understand why I struggle and they made sure I received the assistance I needed to begin the LONG journey of recovery.

Had my infusion done last week! The gals up there take such good care of me! Kim and Kayleigh go above and beyond to make me comfortable and even though my appointments are 6 months apart they seem to remember me and know exactly what I need. I don't dread my treatments!
