Heather the counselors and the doctor run a wonderful facility here. They offer freedom from active addiction a promise of renewed hope and a purposeful driven life free from addiction. My stay here a year ago also provided me the opportunity to live in their sober living home. The art, equine, yoga and reki thrapy sessions are incredible. I really liked the bio bed as well as my free time on the patio. 7 Summit Pathways reintroduced me to mindful meditation, grounding techniques and journaling. My counselor Doug was very encouraging. I was able to get a job near to their sober living house in Valrico and protect my anonymity. They had a nice dinner for the holidays and other clients families would join us. The van was always a safe drive and i always felt reassured and comfortable. They offer a native American Wellbriety meeting on Wednesday at 7pm i look forward to returning to again soon. Alot of these examples have helped me as i was able to keep my sponsor and take steps in the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program. 7 Summit Pathways helped me keep living a productive good and healthy life. I just wanted to say how incredibly helpful and amazing Heather was tonight during a crisis. I reached out at midnight about a family member and was blown away by her kindness, willingness to talk/help, etc. I have worked in the substance abuse field for over 15 years and been a patient as well. I know that parts of the system can be broken at times. Heather went above and beyond what I have ever seen anyone do. She really cares and is a true angel.

I've been through 7 or 8 treatment facilities and successfully completed two prior PHP programs. This program has given me the most individual attention, comfortability and feelings towards being cared for properly. I did intensive outpatient with Riverside in the summer of 2024. It was wonderful! The group therapy sessions were aimed at us patients helping one another get through recovery and life as newly sober people. The one on one sessions focused on my personal issues and struggles with recovery. They also do family sessions which help the entire family navigate this new life. My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

I recently successfully completed treatment at White Sands Treatment Center in Plant City, FL and have a strong desire to share my very positive experience with anyone contemplating getting help. I highly recommend White Sands to anyone looking for the perfect place to reset their lives due to alcoholism and/or drug addiction.
The therapists and facilitators are exceptional as is the educational curriculum. That's only a part of the entire program which combines therapy, in-depth group education and therapy, holistic approaches to healing, a boxing gym with weight training, very comfortable and clean patient rooms, an exceptional staff from management, therapists, behavioral health technicians, housekeeping, culinary staff directed by a highly experienced nutritionist, exceptional medical and nursing personnel, all the way to the smoothie makers in the cafe.
I cannot express in words how grateful I am to every single staff member I came in contact with. Every single person employed by White Sands is compassionate, caring, professional, and have been extensively vetted for their own experience, demeanor, compassion, and dedication to their respective fields. Honestly, I was blown away and they will all hold their special places in my heart for their sincere and honest commitment to assuring me that I was in the safest place on earth to re-commit my recovery after a horrible relapse due to a highly addictive prescription medication.
If you are seeking help of your own, please don't hesitate to give them a call. You will be so grateful you did. They have restored my faith in humanity and I feel like a spiritual and productive human being again. Not the guy that was full of shame and demoralization.
There are only five stars available to give white Sands, but frankly, I give them ten stars! God, please bless everyone at White Sands Treatment Center in Plant City. I love every single one of you... including many patients and the lifelong friends I've made while a patient. I’ve been to a decent amount of treatment programs and this one honestly saved my life! The staff genuinely cares and the groups teach extremely valuable life skills. I remember when I first got to detox and was extremely sick, they would make sure I ate and bring me food straight to my bed. Ad the food is amazing too. They have a coffee and smoothie station and the lady who runs that is the absolute sweetest. Deb was my therapist and really.helped me out with a lot I had going on. I’ve been sober 16 months, which is the longest I’ve ever had and can’t see myself ever going back. I recommend this place to everyone looking to get serious help and turn their life around. I was hesitant going into this procedure as I had never been out under anesthesia. However before and after the procedure the nurses were very kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. You could tell they really care about their patients and are very patient with them and care about their comfort. The procedure definitely works and basically cuts out the worst 5 days of withdrawal. I would pick this over going to a 5-7 day detox, a day or two after this procedure you basically feel mostly normal, and I was using a large amount and had a hard time reducing use enough before the procedure. If your not using huge amounts, or able to cut down a good amount before the procedure or just using prescription opiates which have no secondary substances in them I’d assume you'd feel basically back to your normal self after a day because I felt 90% normal and had none of that going for me. You can’t expect this to be a magical solution and have no cravings or anything like that after though, its still a mental battle after and you have to work at it by going to meetings and/or working with a therapist after but it does definitely allow you to skip the worst of the physical withdrawals. Overall it was great and id highly recommend this to anyone who has struggled to get off opiates by themselves as it truly gives you a fair shot at getting and staying off opiates and is near painless versus a cold detox.

New Beginnings and all the staff have been a true blessing. The place is not the Ritz, but provides a great, safe, transitional place, provided one abides by the rules. I needed a temporary housing assist for about a month until I got myself back on my feet and working again and this place gave me all the answers. I reached out to the crisis center (211) one day when I realized I had been consistently, emotionally and mentally overwhelmed, physically sick, and felt powerless to change anything for too long. I was up against too many life changing personal and professional challenges at the same time. One of the referral resources provided was The Centre for Women. Stephanie has been my therapist since September 2019. Prior, to COVID, when meetings were held in the office, Stephanie consistently provided a safe, comfortable atmosphere that encouraged vulnerability. Since March 2020, our meetings have been held by phone (which she helped easily transition to). Stephanie is a skilled and compassionate listener. Her responses to my concerns are considerate & thought provoking. She offers valuable coping strategies and grounding techniques for the deeply feeling and/ or anxious soul. She has taken the time to understand my values, language, and perspective and considers them when sharing feedback and resources. Stephanie has consistently encouraged and gently guided me to fully realize, embrace, and practice my personal values in my decision making more consistently. In September 2019, I entered Stephanie's care as a scared, overwhelmed, hurt, and broken down individual. Since that time, she continues to empower and equip me to recognize and exercise the practical habits behind my spiritual truths; she also remains a soft space to land when I return to old ways or self- sabotaging habits. I appreciate the ways she supports my mental and emotional well being. She is skilled at reaching the root or heart of the issue, not simply just addressing the symptoms. She may not be able to provide the solution, but she definitely provides a sense of peace in the midst of often difficult processes/ circumstances faced. I would highly recommend therapy with Stephanie at the Centre for Women.
I believe it's also important to state that, while I am a minority woman and Stephanie does not share that personal experience, she remained a solid place to share even the anxieties and concerns she could not personally relate to through the many different challenging situations my family faced in recent months.
I am so grateful for the growth I am experiencing with consistent therapy!

You get out of this place what you put in. I am 31 years old now. I was in and out of this place from 12 to 17. When I first started being sent there I fought it. I hated it. I fought with staff and fellow peers. Getting older I started to see the point. Unfortunately I wasn’t ready to get clean and didn’t get clean until I was 22. I am thankful to the people who cared for me here. This place is NOT paradise. But that’s not what it’s supposed to be. You’ve got issues you need to work on if you’re here. Focus on them and attend your meetings!
