I honestly can’t even put into words how life changing 7SP has been for me. Before coming here, I was scared to get treatment, even though I desperately needed it, & I avoided other places for a long time. After my very first time speaking with them, they gave me the courage to finally take the step I needed. The dedication & care that they offer is nothing I would have ever expected. Everyone, being Dr. Wilson, Heather, therapists, coaches, techs, all management, are all monumental in how much they give.They didn’t just help me get sober yet they helped me learn how to live my life. I absolutely love sophros!! I just moved to Flordia in June 2025. Fresh out of rehab from Pennsylvania. I struggled for 2 months before I got Insurance. Uneducated, craving and not myself. I Googled outpatient recovery centers and first popped up Sophros recovery. I called immediately and set up a appointment. I was accepted right away. I was shy at first and didn't participate in groups. But, I warmed up and I've learned so many great skills that I use daily. Last year 2024 I was hurt by a close family member and was awaiting trial. My therapist and the team helped me be able to open up and tell my story. While gone for a week I had so much support from the team and I did it! My therapist Rajon tells me "I can do hard things" and I did and continue to do so. Andrew helped me realize that sitting in the hurt is the best way to get through it. He also helped me get a wonderful job and establish a community. This facility is amazing! The groups, therapist, and all the staff are wonderful each with their own skills and techniques. It works if you work it. So do the hard things and you will come out successful. Thank you sophros for all the skills, support and understanding. I will forever be grateful for everything you taught me.

My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. The nurses and CNA's have provided the care and compassion well above our familiy's expectation. We are shocked at how much she has thrived at this facility. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

I'm just curious does this work well for opiates like methadone because I am reading about people who were on buprenorphine but methadone has a very long and unpredictable half life and have you had successful patients who were on high doses of methadone and still not have ridiculous cravings post procedure?

I used the ANR Clinic to get off of Opiates that I had been taking for close to 10 years due to a back injury which led to 3 back surgeries. I was really skeptical about the procedure and believing that I would have no cravings afterwards, I did a lot of research and found someone on Facebook that had gone through the procedure and they reaffirmed everything that the ANR Clinic stated. From the first phone call to my intake at the Hospital as well as my aftercare I was treated with care and compassion by each and every member of the ANR Clinic. I had my procedure done on March 24th 2026 and it was the best decision I have ever made, I have never experienced any cravings and each and every day I am feeling one step closer to the man I was before ever taking opiates. I cannot recommend the ANR Clinic enough, if you are struggling like I was take the first step and call them, they will help and guide you every step of the way.

ANR may have saved my life. In fact, it most likely did. I battled with pain medication on and off for the past 20 years of my life. Just recently, I got addicted to 7 OH. I tried to replace pain meds with 7 OH. That is the most evil drug I've ever taken. It had me in its grips. I had to carry it around with me 24/7 and kept it in my nightstand. I was scared for my life for the first time. I tried weaning myself off, but could not. I was taking way too much and was heading down a scary path. I did not know what to do. At this point I was only taking it to help me feel normal. I had to confess to my wife as at this point, I did not know what to do. I could always wean myself off of pain meds. This was a totally different beast. My wife did some research and found ANR. I was a little skeptical because of some of the things I've red online, none of which were true. I've been through a couple of rehab programs and that did not help. The procedure was not easy, but well worth it, no regrets. Like I said, ANR most likely saved my life. The folks at ANR are amazing. These people truly want to help you. And boy did they help me. Months later, I am off everything and enjoying my life again. I am a living testament of this program. I don't know where I would be today had it not been for ANR and their wonderful people. If you can relate to this story at all, please give ANR a call. You will not regret it. End the nightmare. I could not be more happy.

During my stay at Clean, I found that my life is worth fighting for. The staff really cares enough to allow me to be me and to find myself right where I'm at and not lost somewhere in my past using drugs and drinking alcohol. The staff has bent over backwards in caring for me if it were not for: taking me to meetings, giving me much needed medicine, holding very intelligent and intense individual and group discussions and therapy. I also suffer from PTSD and Clean provides special trauma sessions in treatment for something I have struggled with since being in prison for 7 yrs. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place. I learned so much in just 30 days there. My case worker Sammy n my therapist Joel went way out of their way to get me the help I needed. If you apply yourself there you can really retain a lot. There's a bunch of amazing counselors that run groups that you can get a lot out of. An also a great amount of extra circular activities. If you're looking for a place to start your recovery in Southwest Florida. This is the place.

I was reluctant to attend outpatient rehab as I was required to by the DOH/PRN. Forrest was a very patient and reasonable individual who truly cares about what he does and the people he treats. So despite my reluctance and resentment, I learnt a great deal of wisdom from him and for that I am grateful. If you find yourself in a similar position or are voluntarily seeking help/treatment, I would recommend him and this facility.

I recently completed my IOP requirement with resurgence Tampa Bay and want to express my deepest thanks to Forrest, who is not only an empathetic, caring therapist, but also genuine. I have to admit that I wasn’t thrilled about meeting three times a week with people I didn’t know, but honestly felt a camaraderie and sense of understanding during the group sessions. The sessions are interesting, educational and gave me freedom to discus my feelings and fears. I would definitely recommend resurgence Tampa Bay to anyone who is looking for a great IOP experience.

I wanted to share my personal experience with New Beginnings of Tampa — especially with Miss Ginny, who truly helped me during one of the hardest chapters of my life. I’ve taken a few days to reflect on how to write this review in a way that’s fair and honest. My story began when my father became terminally ill overseas. As a medical assistant and certified phlebotomist working at Tampa General Hospital/USFTGP, I made the difficult decision to resign from my job and return home to care for him during his final months. It was one of the most emotional and challenging periods of my life. I gave up my job, apartment, car, and even had to rehome my beloved dog, Peanut. After my father passed away, I was devastated but determined to return to the U.S. and rebuild my life from scratch. Coming back was far from easy. I had no housing, no car, and no income proof while waiting to start my new position at the hospital. Many housing programs required pay stubs, and shelters were full or unresponsive. That’s when I found New Beginnings of Tampa and spoke with Miss Ginny, who kindly offered me a shared room for $750 a month, including utilities and Wi-Fi. From the moment I met her, Miss Ginny’s warmth stood out — she reminded me of Dolly Parton: gracious, caring, and full of heart. She clearly explained the house rules, including curfew hours (9 PM–5 AM) and program expectations. At first, I misunderstood the structure and thought it was simply shared housing, so I accidentally broke curfew once due to a work-related reason. When I was told I could face eviction, I was terrified. But after explaining my situation and providing proof from my job, Miss Ginny gave me a second chance — something I’ll always be grateful for. During my stay, I worked 12-hour shifts, saved money, bought a car, and eventually moved into my own apartment. The program gave me stability, shelter, and structure when I needed it most. I also appreciated the safe environment — it’s a no-drug, no-alcohol facility with regular testing, which helps maintain peace in the home. Each resident has a fridge shelf, laundry access, and a full kitchen to cook meals. There’s a nice backyard patio where residents can relax, socialize, and enjoy visits from local wildlife — including peacocks, raccoons, and a friendly outdoor cat named Max. One important note is that attending church services three times a week is mandatory unless you’re working. Coming from a different faith background, I was initially hesitant, but I found the church community welcoming and respectful. Still, I’d like to kindly suggest that the program consider making church attendance required only once a week — this would give residents more flexibility to rest, work, or focus on personal goals. I also believe that asking residents, many of whom are financially struggling, to donate during services could be reconsidered with compassion, as every dollar counts for people trying to rebuild their lives. As for the housing itself, I do think there’s room for improvement. The property could use some maintenance and better organization, as space is very limited and shared bathrooms can get crowded. It’s also important for residents to keep their belongings secured, as items can occasionally go missing. Considering these conditions, lowering the rent slightly would make the program more accessible and fair. Despite these challenges, I’m deeply thankful for Miss Ginny and New Beginnings of Tampa. Her kindness, patience, and understanding made a tremendous difference in my life. Without her support and this program, I truly don’t know where I would be today. With gratitude, Amanda F.

Nurse Charlene Watts is truly one of the most professional, down to earth, easiest person to talk to that I know. Nurse Watts go out of her way to help and advise and makes the hold "coming in for care" experience easier and I feel more insightful and more in control of my own health by her doing so. I think a lot of the doctors and nurses who serve at this facility. Thank you Nurse Watts and to the rest of the staff and group of professionals at CAN Tampa. On July 31st 2024, I made a call and got a chance to speak to Natalia who was very accommodating in terms of answering my questions, and having patients with my ignorance concerning my health. The Professional attitude and the patience she displayed while on the phone with me was above and beyond. Please let her know that I appreciate it and that it was well noticed. I appreciate what she, Charlene and others on their team does every day. Thank you. Thank you, Dr. Edward Braun, for the many years of high-quality care, and many thanks for your attention to detail. I reached out to the crisis center (211) one day when I realized I had been consistently, emotionally and mentally overwhelmed, physically sick, and felt powerless to change anything for too long. I was up against too many life changing personal and professional challenges at the same time. One of the referral resources provided was The Centre for Women. Stephanie has been my therapist since September 2019. Prior, to COVID, when meetings were held in the office, Stephanie consistently provided a safe, comfortable atmosphere that encouraged vulnerability. Since March 2020, our meetings have been held by phone (which she helped easily transition to). Stephanie is a skilled and compassionate listener. Her responses to my concerns are considerate & thought provoking. She offers valuable coping strategies and grounding techniques for the deeply feeling and/ or anxious soul. She has taken the time to understand my values, language, and perspective and considers them when sharing feedback and resources. Stephanie has consistently encouraged and gently guided me to fully realize, embrace, and practice my personal values in my decision making more consistently. In September 2019, I entered Stephanie's care as a scared, overwhelmed, hurt, and broken down individual. Since that time, she continues to empower and equip me to recognize and exercise the practical habits behind my spiritual truths; she also remains a soft space to land when I return to old ways or self- sabotaging habits. I appreciate the ways she supports my mental and emotional well being. She is skilled at reaching the root or heart of the issue, not simply just addressing the symptoms. She may not be able to provide the solution, but she definitely provides a sense of peace in the midst of often difficult processes/ circumstances faced. I would highly recommend therapy with Stephanie at the Centre for Women. I believe it's also important to state that, while I am a minority woman and Stephanie does not share that personal experience, she remained a solid place to share even the anxieties and concerns she could not personally relate to through the many different challenging situations my family faced in recent months. I am so grateful for the growth I am experiencing with consistent therapy!
