This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. I’m truly grateful for him

I love the fact that my counselor Mrs.Payne is always available and always there to help! Even the people who is not on her case load and also the lady who always at number 1 keeps a smile on her face!

I started Sophros Recovery a few months ago and I completed all of my sessions and I really want to say is that it helped me in so many ways and areas that I needed help with that I didn't understand and how to adapt to them if any situation came up that involves breaking my commitment to sobriety. Sophros helped me so much and the team that works there are absolutely incredible. They understand you without judging you and it’s you can speak your mind fully. I feel like I'm not in denial anymore and what was going on through the many years of drinking, they are now left behind me and seriously not trying to go back to the harm I was doing to myself, family and friends. The damages that came with addiction is sometimes out of your control and now I feel like when I can and choose to say no. Finally I can say that I'm in control. It takes a strong person to ask for help so put your pride aside and get healthy and sober no matter the choice of substance that is ruining or taking over your life slowly you can achieve it you just have to want it. It won’t happen overnight but I know it’s possible. Nobody is perfect but you can definitely try and that's all that matters. I have a picture of me and my wife even we got married in my wallet that helped me thru everything she was my rock and never gave up on me. Find something that Is important to you and hold it when ever an urge or a temptation is near. Just a reminder of what you are trying to accomplish. Be safe.

After several tries to find a good therapist that takes my insurance, I tried Breakthroughs. Had an appointment that week, and I’ve been there for 4 months now. Learning so much about myself and the relationships in my life. Can’t thank this team enough for all the support.

This place saves lives and the management is top notch

I had a very positive experience during my hospital stay. The surgery itself went smoothly, and afterwards the doctors were extremely informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions. The anesthesia team was wonderfully calm and reassuring while preparing me, which made a big difference in easing my nerves. The nurses provided truly incredible care throughout my recovery. They were attentive, compassionate, and always ready to help with even the smallest needs. Their kindness and professionalism gave me comfort and confidence every step of the way. I’m deeply thankful for the way they looked after me—it meant so much during a difficult time. Overall, I felt well cared for at every stage, and I’m grateful to the entire team for making my stay easier and more positive than I could have imagined.

I have been coming here for several years now. It is a good clinic but the staff are going to expect you to act like the adult you scream you are. Staff will give you all the respect in the world even when clients aren't. Be nice to them they deserve it.

Very professional but caring staff . Clean and safe facility. I only go bi-weekly but it's quick and really helps if your truly want help !!

A spacious, beautiful concert hall with excellent acoustics. World-class performances are held here, and you always feel like you're at a premium event.

This is for the Baymeadows location, as it's the one I have experience with. The staff are very accommodating and professional. The counseling I received was more than I ever expected. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Ron Cipriano & Associates Counseling, the staff there are always very pleasent and very professional group. Sometimes when you first walk in there and your first point of contact IS Miss Melissa , you start to feel better already . She has a very nurturing way about her . Makes me feel like I'm with friends . I haven't been coming here too too long, but I'm glad I did. They have already helped me so much ,they have no idea. I'm lucky to have found Ron Cipriano office.

Vijapura is an excellent choice. They are relaxed, caring and top shelf . This was my first experience with going to a psychiatric practice and it was productive and not intimidating. Highly recommend them. The previous review saying it is in a shabby location and hard to get to is absolutely ridiculous. It is smack in the middle of Baymeadows and easy to find and the office is comfortable, clean and as attractive or more attractive than any office I have been to.

Dr. Sagar Vijapura is a very good listener and is calming and reassuring in his responses. He offers suggestions in a respectful and gentle way, and he gives good resources.

The entire staff at Vijapura Behavioral are beyond wonderful. They treat each patient with compassion, kindness and respect. I highly recommend all of the providers in this practice!

This is by far the best clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Most of the patients are working professionals and genuinely want to get better and do the right things. If you are not serious about your recovery, this is NOT the clinic for you. This clinic holds you to the rules and isn't going to let things slide. They recently got a new Nurse on staff, I think her name is Dee. She is amazing and the BEST nurse they've had. She puts patients first and is one of the most knowledgable staff there despite being so new. That woman deserves a raise! The only reason I didn't give the clinic 5 stars is Leadership Issues from Corporate and there could be additional counselors. Right now there is only one counselor and it's not enough for the current patient population. I cannot tell you the last time I received counseling since my original counselor left in April. The two counselors that left were great and were decorated in their field(s) and had a masters in Social Work, we were all very sad to see them go. I will say that the current counselor Ashley is also wonderful. She is doing the best she can despite that she had the entire patient population dumped into her lap. She deserves a raise as well! Overall, I would recommend MedMark in Jacksonville over any of the other clinics in Duval county if you want help and you're serious about your recovery. --- A major downfall is that the corporate MedMark office/Corporate Leadership team(s) have been destroying this clinic. There are days I worry; that one day I will show up and the doors will be closed forever. Another time it took a nurse over 4 weeks to get paid. Another time they closed abruptly without notice and patients were left without their medication for several days. I hope that MedMark corporate sees this and gives this clinic the support it deserves. Right now they (MedMark Corp) are not treating their employees or patients with the empathy, dignity, fairness, and respect they deserve.

Everyone here is caring and considerate. The director, doctor, nurses, and counselors are all excellent and treat every patient fairly and kindly. Thank you for helping me, and positively impacting all the lives you touch.

Having been misdiagnosed with the concerns of my forefathers, I've found that I was a test subject to this place. They are so understanding as they recognize that people are individuals and differ from their predecessors in many ways. I enjoy excelling in my work with them to help others to know that they are not alone. Being perfect isn't easy so this place helps to give you an imperfection or two. 😂

Don’t listen to the other reviews MHRC is a great place. The staff are super friendly. They’re great at de-escalating situations and keeping problems to a minimum they understand different kinds of people and they understand how to talk to people. They’re very good at recognizing how you feel in that moment And they know exactly what to say. Everybody is human we all messed up so we can’t expect the staff to be perfect but I will say they are definitely in my top 10 cause I’ve been to a few since I was a child And trust me I’ve been to some bad ones, but MRC is definitely like 4 Especially with the audition of Miss Allison, she’s been Taking care of me since I was like 16 And their doctors & Techs They’re great. I don’t know man I might just be high LOL But I’m leaving for Oregon to do job course soon And I truly believe that if MHRC had Not saved my life in the way they did. I would not be here. I would not be in this situation. I would not be prospering the way I am right now so please If you are considering inpatient outpatient, whatever take me to consideration that their staff is extremely friend And remember everybody’s human, but they do a great job at what they’re supposed to do God bless

I love the whole team and my kids enjoy all them the good with working with my family times and days we have work and school they are sweet

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is. All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do. Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours. I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on. All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.
