SLA took me in when no one else would they fed me clothed me gave me a bed to sleep in and a safe clean living environment.

I’ve had a very positive experience at breakthroughs. From the moment I first walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Dawn at the front desk. She is not only professional and organized, but also genuinely kind and attentive. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, answering questions, or just greeting clients with a smile, Dawn sets the tone for a calm and supportive environment. As for counseling services, I’ve been working with Mr. Britt, and I can’t recommend him enough. He is insightful, patient, and truly listens without judgment. His approach is thoughtful and effective, helping me to better understand myself and work through personal challenges with clarity and confidence. It’s clear that he cares deeply about his clients’ progress and well-being. Overall, this establishment has created a safe and welcoming space for healing, thanks to dedicated professionals like Dawn and Mr. Britt. I’m very grateful for the support I’ve received here. 10/10 would recommend

I love this place they help my recovery the staff is woundful

I have been coming here for several years now. It is a good clinic but the staff are going to expect you to act like the adult you scream you are. Staff will give you all the respect in the world even when clients aren't. Be nice to them they deserve it.

Very professional but caring staff . Clean and safe facility. I only go bi-weekly but it's quick and really helps if your truly want help !!

Absolutely awesome No Nonsense place

This place saves lives and the management is top notch

As a psychologist, I am deeply appreciative of the quality of care provided by Vijapura Behavioral Health. I have referred several clients to Dr. Vijapura’s practice, and each time I’ve been impressed by their efficiency, responsiveness, and clinical effectiveness. The team is thorough, compassionate, and communicates clearly, which makes collaboration seamless and supportive for our shared clients. It brings me great peace of mind knowing that when I refer to this practice, my clients are in excellent hands. I’m truly thankful to have Vijapura Behavioral Health as one of my preferred providers.

Very helpful people that saved my life.

The first point concerning this practice is that you are noticed and welcomed. It is an upbeat place and feels positive. Stormy Hayes is a skilled therapist , always upbeat,and is consistenly great with her medication recommendations. She is very approachable and makes one feel valued and heard.

This is for the Baymeadows location, as it's the one I have experience with. The staff are very accommodating and professional. The counseling I received was more than I ever expected. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Ron Cipriano & Associates Counseling, the staff there are always very pleasent and very professional group. Sometimes when you first walk in there and your first point of contact IS Miss Melissa , you start to feel better already . She has a very nurturing way about her . Makes me feel like I'm with friends . I haven't been coming here too too long, but I'm glad I did. They have already helped me so much ,they have no idea. I'm lucky to have found Ron Cipriano office.

I came to Ron's program after several bouts with alcohol, where once I had a drink I no longer could determine when I would stop. I was both terrified and frustrated. Through the Recovery Dynamics method Ron, Steve and Christy helped me gain understanding of the build up of emotions and my inability to manage them. They have provided me with structure to process these now. I would recommend Ron's program to anyone looking to better their life and regain their peace of mind.

This is by far the best clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Most of the patients are working professionals and genuinely want to get better and do the right things. If you are not serious about your recovery, this is NOT the clinic for you. This clinic holds you to the rules and isn't going to let things slide. They recently got a new Nurse on staff, I think her name is Dee. She is amazing and the BEST nurse they've had. She puts patients first and is one of the most knowledgable staff there despite being so new. That woman deserves a raise! The only reason I didn't give the clinic 5 stars is Leadership Issues from Corporate and there could be additional counselors. Right now there is only one counselor and it's not enough for the current patient population. I cannot tell you the last time I received counseling since my original counselor left in April. The two counselors that left were great and were decorated in their field(s) and had a masters in Social Work, we were all very sad to see them go. I will say that the current counselor Ashley is also wonderful. She is doing the best she can despite that she had the entire patient population dumped into her lap. She deserves a raise as well! Overall, I would recommend MedMark in Jacksonville over any of the other clinics in Duval county if you want help and you're serious about your recovery. --- A major downfall is that the corporate MedMark office/Corporate Leadership team(s) have been destroying this clinic. There are days I worry; that one day I will show up and the doors will be closed forever. Another time it took a nurse over 4 weeks to get paid. Another time they closed abruptly without notice and patients were left without their medication for several days. I hope that MedMark corporate sees this and gives this clinic the support it deserves. Right now they (MedMark Corp) are not treating their employees or patients with the empathy, dignity, fairness, and respect they deserve.

Everyone here is caring and considerate. The director, doctor, nurses, and counselors are all excellent and treat every patient fairly and kindly. Thank you for helping me, and positively impacting all the lives you touch.

Don’t listen to the other reviews MHRC is a great place. The staff are super friendly. They’re great at de-escalating situations and keeping problems to a minimum they understand different kinds of people and they understand how to talk to people. They’re very good at recognizing how you feel in that moment And they know exactly what to say. Everybody is human we all messed up so we can’t expect the staff to be perfect but I will say they are definitely in my top 10 cause I’ve been to a few since I was a child And trust me I’ve been to some bad ones, but MRC is definitely like 4 Especially with the audition of Miss Allison, she’s been Taking care of me since I was like 16 And their doctors & Techs They’re great. I don’t know man I might just be high LOL But I’m leaving for Oregon to do job course soon And I truly believe that if MHRC had Not saved my life in the way they did. I would not be here. I would not be in this situation. I would not be prospering the way I am right now so please If you are considering inpatient outpatient, whatever take me to consideration that their staff is extremely friend And remember everybody’s human, but they do a great job at what they’re supposed to do God bless

MHRC is always here to give me perspective that I don't have. Being a Frog at the bottom of a well isn't for everyone. I'm only giving it 4 stars because my provider needs a pay/benifit raise. 😇

This by far has been the best place I've been. I spoke to a very sweet lady named Tatyanna and she genuinely cared about what was going on. We talked like we knew each other during the intake form and she showed me the right path to good mental health

This place is amazing it saved my life it's a safe place and the snack bar has amazing food And the NA and aa meetings are to die for come by u won't regret it

I had a wonderful experience in this place. I reached the gift of desperation here. I grew up here, I spent 16 months working on myself. I've now been given a gift from God through this program. I get to live under the same roof with my 15 year old. I thank God for this place.

Great 7 am meetings held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is. All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do. Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours. I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on. All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.
