Ive been with gateway close to two years now, and never once did I feel unwelcomed or unappreciated. Even when I switched my primary counselor, it never felt the same as the amazing women in gateway. The receptionist are always so sweet and will work with you to help sort iut appointments quick and easy. The counselors have my heart as well, they listen and understand me in ways I didn't think was possible. I wouldn't want to go to any other counseling office after gateway.

The staff are very helpful and amazing, the treatment most definitely helped me to combat my substance abuse problem. Big shout-out to Mr Terrance and Mrs Crystal I miss y'all and think about y'all all the time. I had some fun amazing times there and wish I could come come back just to kick it for another 30 days. By the way way the food is super fire and everyone gains so much weight. I came in 225 pounds and left 273 pounds in 30 days.

6/8/10 I walked into St Illa. Broken, afraid, and ashamed. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, but the staff treated me with respect. I completed detox and set about putting the pieces of my life back together. It has been a long and winding road, but I started college at age 50 and have been working in the field of addiction treatment for 6 years.
Yesterday marked 13 years drug free and the memory of the moment I walked through those doors remains fresh in my mind.
If you’re reading this with the thought of seeking treatment, do it. Do it now. You can be free. You are worth it. This place literally saved my life.
To the staff- I did not understand at the time everything you said and did, or why. But I do now. I’m sure none of the same people are there, but I will forever be grateful ♥️

My son is 34 and checked himself in 5 months ago. He made the decision to stay the full six months within the first month. I'm so proud of him and all the guys there. It's an amazing journey they go through. I know this place saved my son's life. Kindness, compassion and studying the AA 12 Steps and the way in which the program is run. Today was a good day at the VA. Nurse Darlene was nice and helpful. Got my info to the Dr. and arranged for test.
Dont know the taller lady that drew blood but I am still amazed she was able to put the needle in to draw blood without me feeling it. Must be magic. Thanks ladies.

I’ve had a very positive experience at breakthroughs. From the moment I first walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Dawn at the front desk. She is not only professional and organized, but also genuinely kind and attentive. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, answering questions, or just greeting clients with a smile, Dawn sets the tone for a calm and supportive environment.
As for counseling services, I’ve been working with Mr. Britt, and I can’t recommend him enough. He is insightful, patient, and truly listens without judgment. His approach is thoughtful and effective, helping me to better understand myself and work through personal challenges with clarity and confidence. It’s clear that he cares deeply about his clients’ progress and well-being.

I have been coming here for several years now. It is a good clinic but the staff are going to expect you to act like the adult you scream you are. Staff will give you all the respect in the world even when clients aren't. Be nice to them they deserve it.
