Every staff member has been very helpful and supportive to our daughter and to us. We appreciate their work tremendously.
They're friendly and kind and caring, even the doctor. The red tape and figuring out how to do everything was a real headache. They've got a great admin team to help thank goodness. That really makes a difference.

I started coming here 3 years ago and will continue to do so for the rest of my life because It is truly so hard to receive good help, but when it comes to Gateway in Kingsland, y'all exceed expectations! Ive been with gateway close to two years now, and never once did I feel unwelcomed or unappreciated. Even when I switched my primary counselor, it never felt the same as the amazing women in gateway. The receptionist are always so sweet and will work with you to help sort iut appointments quick and easy. The counselors have my heart as well, they listen and understand me in ways I didn't think was possible. I wouldn't want to go to any other counseling office after gateway.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works.
Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that,

I was forced to go to Lakeview but I'm happy that I did. I finally admitted that I was an addict and I needed help and I need to change my life. At first I did not want to participate or talk with anyone but after a couple days of hearing other people's stories I realize where I was at in my life and where I was going to end up if I continue. During my stay here I follow their program schedule and start going to the group therapy. For some you may think it's dumb, useless, waste of time but if you really just be more open-minded and use what they teach you it will make a big difference in your life. A big plus for me while I was here was the pool and the gym, never really use the pool but it is a very nice pool with a nice view of the pond I'm back to the gym the gym have everything that you need and yes they do have real trainers. You only get access to the pool and gym if you're in the store, php, and IOP if you're in stepping stone you're out of luck.

I had the pleasure of touring last week; what an awesome experience.
Thank you, Isabella and Natalia, for taking the time to tour me and discuss the program. Peace and Purpose Asheville are always looking to forge relationships with treatment centers and Lakeview's clinical staff are second to none, in my experience. They also have an awesome integration program which involves client exposure to the outside, where they go shopping and are involved with a lot of off-campus activities.
No hesitation recommending it as a great program for family and loved ones.

They help me realize there's so much more to life than that stagnant position I was sitting in that horrible Rabbit Hole I was going down thank you stepping stones for being there for me and pulling me up and far away from that rabbit hole!!!

Stepping Stones was amazing. I went there for alcohol, but they treat many issues. Therapists were great and listened carefully. Great place to go and get back on a good track

Stepping Stone was an amazing place to go for treatment. My counselors name was Patrick and he was there for me whenever I needed it the most. They have really good food there too!
I really enjoyed my stay at St. IIla. The staff were great and the programming was thoughtful and engaging. And the food was outstanding.

The staff are very helpful and amazing, the treatment most definitely helped me to combat my substance abuse problem. Big shout-out to Mr Terrance and Mrs Crystal I miss y'all and think about y'all all the time. I had some fun amazing times there and wish I could come come back just to kick it for another 30 days. By the way way the food is super fire and everyone gains so much weight. I came in 225 pounds and left 273 pounds in 30 days.

Good place to go if you are on drugs. But stay longer than a week. My grandkids should have stayed longer.
Everything from the moment we brought our child here, the entire stay, and the moment we left was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was kind and showed empathy.
Our child said all the nurses were fantastic and even said the food was good.

I've been a patient here for a long time and have had quite a few counselors but Ms. Regina and Ms. Sandora are by far AMAZING!!!! They go above and beyond at all times. It doesn't matter the issue they always get a positive resolution. Anytime I need to talk their doors are always open. They truly listen and remember the things I tell them even though they deal with hundreds of people everyday. They show true compassion for each and every patient.

My fiancée and myself just switched from medmark after 8 years and I wish we left there SOONER! this place is AMAZING the staff is amazing that just makes you feel so much better my girl has horrible anxiety and this is our 2nd time here she had to do some extra paperwork and she thought the worst it took 2 mins and they jumped up to help her so fast and sat with her miss cynthia was amazing with her and helping her figure out what to do I have Tracey is my counselor and she is so nice and it’s nothing like our old clinic everyone is so kind and caring when you walk in everyone is always so nice it took us like a whole 10 mins if that to get a full week of take homes

Me and my hubby are transferred from Medmark and I’m so thankful we did the process was a alot longer then I ever had to deal with and it is 2$ more here I will still pick this clinic over that one ANYDAY of the week miss Cynthia is so nice before I even was transferred here she was helping me get my paperwork sent over and making sure I got it all the nurses are amazing there is 2 there I really liked but I forgot names I seen so many people but they help you with intake the nurse that is pregnant and will do bloodwork is amazing I have a huge fear of needles and she helped me get past the bloodwork part and got my bloodwork done on the first try and that’s shocking the other clinic would keep going even after 10 times then my counselor was out for vaction but they have a buddy system so someone is always there to help you! I have such a great counselor well buddy lol she was so nice and you can tell she cares I did have one good counselor at my old clinic but it seems like they are all great here everyone I talked to was really nice and even when I first got there I didn’t know where to go or even where to walk in and a lady there that was going there helped us and showed us where we had to go the building is a lot bigger then the other clinic the doctor was really nice they have a lot of windows so it’s fast my favorite nurse already is miss Lisa she was so sweet to me and she is a fellow animal lover she is the one that sold me on this clinic her and miss cynthia

My son is 34 and checked himself in 5 months ago. He made the decision to stay the full six months within the first month. I'm so proud of him and all the guys there. It's an amazing journey they go through. I know this place saved my son's life. Kindness, compassion and studying the AA 12 Steps and the way in which the program is run. It teaches responsibility, accountability and the tools to get and stay sober.

It is now April 2024 and my son is still sober at 37 and in fact my nephew is getting ready to complete his 6 months and he is excited about being sober and they both know and love the Lord! God. He has answered my prayers and Bridges of Hope was the vessel.

Bridges of Hope saved my sons life!!! The staff is the best and they know what works in curing addiction, they are the best I've ever seen and I have had him in many. If your a parent and want to save your child's life and rest at night knowing he or she is in a safe place, "this program works." Please don't wait and wish you hadn't.
I am so grateful for Gateway, and the amazing staff there. From the staff at detox, to residential llrehab, down to the front desk & providers for out-patient, they are all an amazing part of my recovery. I started my journey almost 5 years ago at Gateway detox and if it wasn't for programs like what Gateway offers, I wouldn't be here today to speak about it. I will forever be grateful for what this facility has done for me, and taught me. I credit a lot of my sobriety to Gateway, for teaching me the skills I needed to lead and maintain a healthy, sober, productive lifestyle and how to love myself. Good experience... Staff have lived thorugh it so they can really help you. Felt safe and supported. Solid programs, including outpatient options. They could communicate with families better and answer more questions during intake, though.

Unison has been good to me. They have helped me with housing when I was homeless. The case managers really care about you. They have a pharmacy so you can get your meds right there.

This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. I’m truly grateful for him

I love the fact that my counselor Mrs.Payne is always available and always there to help! Even the people who is not on her case load and also the lady who always at number 1 keeps a smile on her face!
After several tries to find a good therapist that takes my insurance, I tried Breakthroughs. Had an appointment that week, and I’ve been there for 4 months now. Learning so much about myself and the relationships in my life. Can’t thank this team enough for all the support.

I didnt expect to have a panic attack at the place i go to get help for the panic attacks. lol, I ran away from my appointment bc I don't like to cry or draw attention to myself in public 😭 She reached out to me personally to make sure I was OK. She took personal time out of her day to talk me thru some of my problems, and that is above and beyond my expectations! Today was a good day at the VA. Nurse Darlene was nice and helpful. Got my info to the Dr. and arranged for test.
Dont know the taller lady that drew blood but I am still amazed she was able to put the needle in to draw blood without me feeling it. Must be magic. Thanks ladies.

This place saves lives and the management is top notch
I had a very positive experience during my hospital stay. The surgery itself went smoothly, and afterwards the doctors were extremely informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions. The anesthesia team was wonderfully calm and reassuring while preparing me, which made a big difference in easing my nerves.
The nurses provided truly incredible care throughout my recovery. They were attentive, compassionate, and always ready to help with even the smallest needs. Their kindness and professionalism gave me comfort and confidence every step of the way. I’m deeply thankful for the way they looked after me—it meant so much during a difficult time.
Overall, I felt well cared for at every stage, and I’m grateful to the entire team for making my stay easier and more positive than I could have imagined.

I have been coming here for several years now. It is a good clinic but the staff are going to expect you to act like the adult you scream you are. Staff will give you all the respect in the world even when clients aren't. Be nice to them they deserve it.
