I started coming here 3 years ago and will continue to do so for the rest of my life because It is truly so hard to receive good help, but when it comes to Gateway in Kingsland, y'all exceed expectations! You are so amazing and incredibly helpful and resourceful when needed and I just can't thank you enough! You are the place I tell my family and friends about and I encourage anyone who needs help to go here.

Ive been with gateway close to two years now, and never once did I feel unwelcomed or unappreciated. Even when I switched my primary counselor, it never felt the same as the amazing women in gateway. The receptionist are always so sweet and will work with you to help sort iut appointments quick and easy. The counselors have my heart as well, they listen and understand me in ways I didn't think was possible. I wouldn't want to go to any other counseling office after gateway.

I had a very positive experience during my hospital stay. The surgery itself went smoothly, and afterwards the doctors were extremely informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions. The anesthesia team was wonderfully calm and reassuring while preparing me, which made a big difference in easing my nerves. The nurses provided truly incredible care throughout my recovery. They were attentive, compassionate, and always ready to help with even the smallest needs. Their kindness and professionalism gave me comfort and confidence every step of the way. I’m deeply thankful for the way they looked after me—it meant so much during a difficult time. Overall, I felt well cared for at every stage, and I’m grateful to the entire team for making my stay easier and more positive than I could have imagined.

Center for Discovery PHP in Maitland, FL medically neglected me and traumatized me. I came to CFD after stepping down from residential at Alsana which I was clearly not ready to step down from. When I got to PHP I was barley eating and they didn’t really know what to do with me. After my first week my therapist, Brittany said I had to get a tube or be discharged. I asked her how long I would need the tube for and she said “forever if you need it” A few weeks later I was sent in an Uber by myself 2 hours away to the emergency room at Tampa general hospital for tube insertion and medical stabilization. My therapist said that an NG tube was fine so they went ahead and put it in. After about a week in the hospital, my therapist Brittany convinced them to discharge me and told them that they would be monitoring my vitals. Against what the doctors wanted, they believed my therapist and discharged me. Only a few hours before discharge, my therapist called me and said that they can no longer take me with an NG tube and that I would need to get surgery to get a G tube in my stomach. She then offered me the option to go back to Res instead. Wanting to go home and think this over, I discharged. The next day we called Alsana to see if they could take me back and when they said no, I decided to go back in an Uber to the hospital in Tampa to get the G tube insertion surgery. This was my choice, however, they made it very clear that they wanted me to choose the G-tube and thought it was best for me. Nobody taught me how to care for the tube or how to use it, I had to learn on my own. When I got back to CFD they just had me go alone in an office to do my feedings and keep it a secret. My heart rate and weight continued to drop to the point that my heart rate was consistently in the low 40’s for almost 6 months and I was severely underweight which is dangerous. They only sent me to the hospital when it got to the 30’s. Once it was in the 30’s I went back to the hospital and then to res where the staff was astonished that my PHP had put a g tube in me and let my HR be in the 40s for so long. Both my therapist and dietician had both told me that when I come back to PHP I have to have the tube so I thought I needed it. When my res talked to my PHP they gaslit me and said that they never said that and I could come back to PHP without a tube. In res, my tube got infected and I had to get it removed. We spent all of res unlearning that I would need a tube forever and that I can’t recover without one. I’m still working on unlearning that to this day because they had convinced me I needed it and can’t ever fully recover.

As a private practice therapist in the area, CFD is an absolute pleasure to refer to when my clients need extra help. It is alway such seamless collaboration and caring approach with their clients. CFD’s expertise, compassion, and commitment to clients make them an outstanding program. Highly recommend for ED care.

This is for the Baymeadows location, as it's the one I have experience with. The staff are very accommodating and professional. The counseling I received was more than I ever expected. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Ron Cipriano & Associates Counseling, the staff there are always very pleasent and very professional group. Sometimes when you first walk in there and your first point of contact IS Miss Melissa , you start to feel better already . She has a very nurturing way about her . Makes me feel like I'm with friends . I haven't been coming here too too long, but I'm glad I did. They have already helped me so much ,they have no idea. I'm lucky to have found Ron Cipriano office.

Brittany Lauria has helped me so much with my recovery and dealing with past trauma. She is a phenomenal counselor. She is such a caring person and is really there for her clients. She is a god send!!

I have a wonderful peer her name is Stephanie Brown,& I am so very grateful for her &clay behavioral,she's a wonderful peer who does everything to help that she possible can!! My trauma has even lessened because she's always there to talk with me!! I just wanted to say thank you for everything & Dr.Menges is amazing as well as the rest of the staff including the pharmacy!! I'm so thankful for everything!!

The road to recovery is so much easier and less rocky because of the people at the Loche Rane location. Brittany is so kind, caring and honest that I felt comfortable opening up and being completely transparent with both myself and the people around me. The people who do not come out of their services bettered are the ones who never truly took advantage of the wonderful opportunity before them.

I have to say in defense of tradition house that Luke's recent post was in retaliation for him being told to pack his stuff and go, everything he said in his review was a lie and a complete fabrication. You're really saddens me how someone could sink so low as to try to tarnish the good reputation of tradition house. I believe it is the best and always has had the reputation of being the best sober House in Jacksonville. It is well-run, clean, comfortable and a safe and stable environment to rebuild your life. Humility and gratitude are key ingredients to a New Life. Hopefully Luke will get it one day! You know as they say, hurt people hurt people".

I am grateful for the kind treatment I received, when taking such a huge step for me, admitting I’m a functioning addict and have been for years off and on. First day to the rest of my life free of street prescription pain killers. Goals for regaining my entire life and then some! Jesus thank you for sending me here. And thank you Jesus for such kind people. My heart is renewed that there are truly good people left in this world.

Been going to this one since the week they opened and in my 20+years (I've come to terms with being on matenence for the foreseeable future) and this is by far the best one out of the 4 places and 3 states.

The staff here is what makes this place so special, Kathy and the head gentlemen now running the place have compassion, if you do the right thing this place can save you. Very thankful for the staff everyone of them. Deserves a applause

Jackson has been so great to work with! I have four kiddos ages 26, 22, 10 and 7 and have worked with a few different counselors over the last 20 years. My youngest and I currently see Jackson for some behavioral challenges. I can honestly say that Jackson goes above and beyond and in my experience one the best counselors around for children! I highly recommend!

I have to say I absolutely love my one on one's with Jackson I am absolutely able to be myself and express my feelings and he completely understands

It happens. But in the last three years, every employee at the Lake City VA has been nothing but wonderful to me, and I no longer get stressed out when I have to go. I truly appreciate all of you

I went to the Lake City emergency department with acute pain in lower back. from triage and treatment the staff was wonderful, personal and caring. even security opened the door for us. The doctor and nurse treated me and was released quickly. The nurse, Paige, was very observant watching me while I attempted to stand and walk. She stopped by the room and talked with us on different subject. This is my first visit to a VA emergency room and they made us very comfortable. Eventhough you don't want to visit the emergency room, I hope future visits will be this pleasant.

Excellent from triage, tech and RN in treatment room to the Doctor. They Listened! Only complaint is they need a New Er. Old but still works.

I needed a specific therapy called EMDR due to traumatic incidents. I had difficulty finding a therapist with the licensing to perform EMDR at a reasonable price. However here at SMA my therapist Miss Nicole was able to do exactly that, and thankfully they offered a sliding fee scale, so it was affordable. After I finished my therapy with Nicole, for the first time in my entire life , I no longer had intense suicidal urges and tendencies to self harm. If it wasn’t for SMA I wouldn’t have been able to get the help I desperately needed. I will forever be so grateful towards everyone here at SMA, you all truly helped save my life.

I switched over here from the Palatka office. Much more friendly clean environment and down to earth with patients and they are about the patients and not just here for a paycheck like the Palatka office.

This is the best place in Savannah for addiction treatment . The groups are full of all willing participants. They provide great education and wonderful individual counseling. I have experienced other treatment programs and this was by far the best I’ve been involved with. I just wish more people knew about it.

Life-changing. The Harvard of therapeutic communities.

Metamorphosis literally saved my life. I was court ordered to be at meta through drug court. The rules and 'tattling' is very contradictory to what addicts are used to. The purpose is to learn to hold other accountable for their actions. AA and NA did nothing for me. Bridgehouse did nothing for me. Meta was the only place to recognize what was causing me to use and address that. I graduated in 2012. I am still clean. Almost 9 years now. Recovery is different for everyone but hold on to the 'keeping secrets' and 'not snitching' behaviors of my using life wouldn't have helped me get this far.

I didn’t like the process when I first arrived. Holding each other accountable seemed a lot more like snitching or tattling than anything helpful. I felt like many things seemed conflict inducing at first for sure. I soon realized I was being provided a structure to implement better decision making during my time there and with that acquiring tools to take with me after leaving treatment. There’s nothing crazy about anything there in my opinion. The rules are the rules and there are consequences if you break them. They provide everything you need and then some. The staff is wonderful and really care about everyone there whether it’s voluntary or court ordered (majority were voluntary when I left a month ago). I needed to stay longer but had to leave due to circumstances at home that had to be addressed. I’ve been to treatment many times and I feel Meta has given me the very best chance to stay clean.I am a tough critic especially towards things that are stopping me from doing what I want. Meta is different for everyone but personally it’s the first place I would recommend to anyone.

My daughter’s therapist has been there for her each and every time we have needed her no matter the time of day. She is interested, caring, knowledgeable, and she is involved in every aspect of treatment. Also, she never fails to follow up with her. My daughter also has a Para pro that comes to our house weekly to help her with her coping skills, and many other issues that help her deal with day to day life. I can’t begin to say enough about these amazing people. They have quickly become a part of my family just by the amount of caring and support that they have given my family. GO TEAM CK/MC
