The staff are very helpful and amazing, the treatment most definitely helped me to combat my substance abuse problem. Big shout-out to Mr Terrance and Mrs Crystal I miss y'all and think about y'all all the time. I had some fun amazing times there and wish I could come come back just to kick it for another 30 days. 6/8/10 I walked into St Illa. Broken, afraid, and ashamed. I know I wasn t the easiest person to deal with, but the staff treated me with respect. I completed detox and set about putting the pieces of my life back together. It has been a long and winding road, but I started college at age 50 and have been working in the field of addiction treatment for 6 years.Yesterday marked 13 years drug free and the memory of the moment I walked through those doors remains fresh in my mind.If you re reading this with the thought of seeking treatment, do it. Do it now. You can be free. You are worth it. This place literally saved my life.To the staff- I did not understand at the time everything you said and did, or why. But I do now. Today was a good day at the VA. Nurse Darlene was nice and helpful. Got my info to the Dr. and arranged for test. Dont know the taller lady that drew blood but I am still amazed she was able to put the needle in to draw blood without me feeling it. Must be magic. Thanks ladies.

The staff and girls are so friendly and makes you feel at home. I enjoy going to church with. I met the people with Bethesda because I had a family member there. Even tho their not there any more, I still go there to visit. This place has helped me in ways of changing my life. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I plan to keep visiting as long as I can. And I live an hour and 15 minutes away.

Why you don t have a 5 star rating I don t understand. I have brought my grandchild for 3 years. He is a different young man. All the therapists and kindness they have given him. Doing this storm we had to leave.still no power. They worked with me for three days to get his medicine. Took three drugstores to finally find it. The office and Dr. never stopped till I got it. My daughter was just came home from treatment at Lakeview/Stepping Stone! After a very long struggle with alcohol, as a family we gave her an ultimatum to go to this facility for treatment. She was very reluctant and it took ALOT of persuasion but she finally committed to going. I ve struggle with finding the appropriate words to describe this experience for my daughter as well as our family. From the very moment I reached out to Tommy to the minute I called the facility to pick her up we had the absolute BEST CARE! My daughter has described the staff as being ANGLES ON EARTH !! These wonderful people saved her life!!! It took a lot of courage for her to commit to this as she was leaving behind a baby and a husband. She said the minute she stepped inside the door her anxiety went away. The staff was genuinely there to help her recovery. There aren t enough good words to describe my gratitude for everyone at Lakeside/Stepping Stone. My daughter has made life long friends. Miss Janice was her favorite. What a wonderful facility. I was a resident at Lakeview for 42 days. I am an older person and was apprehensive about fitting in . There was no need to worry I was treated with respect and dignity. My alcohol addiction came later in life and a family member found Lakeview for me. I have read many reviews both positive and negative. I must say that I was cared for and cared about. I was a resident with women from all walks of life and ethnicities and I saw treatment equally across the board. When there were objections from fellow residents about treatment I was able to see both sides however , my observation was that many times there was an unwillingness on the part of the resident to completely comply to the prescribed regimen. This is not a place to go if you want to be coddled. If that s the case you may not be ready for recovery. But I can tell you I worked the program, gave myself over to the process of recovery and came out the other side. I certainly ran up against obstacles but this program taught me how to deal with them in a positive successful manner. I would personally like to recognize Karen, Kaylee, Shanna, Meredith and Suneeta to name just a few. The therapists are a great group, but it goes much deeper than that. The staff is there 24/7 and I was made to feel safe at all times through their dedication and teamwork.If you want to free yourself of addiction and are ready for a new life consider this treatment. I can tell you I didn t always agree with some protocol but this program gave me the tools to state my concerns, be heard and come to a resolution that benefitted me and stay in compliance with Lakeview s policies.

So anyone who needs help and wants sobriety I highly recommend Beaches Recovery. Chris Colcord is truly an angel and the staff at Tides, Mike, Lindsay, Celeste..my counselor Matt! Absolutely amazing team there. And then when you move over to Beaches, Elizabeth is the best therapist, constantly advocating and fighting for us..and the house techs Jennifer, Dawn and Sydney truly care and help with any and all that you need. I could never thank them all enough for everything and being apart of my journey in sobriety. I will forever be thankful.
