I went for an interview with them and the staff was amazing including the manager interviewing me. I've only been once but will soon be going back. The wait was a tad long but other than that all the staff treated me with a smile on there face. I've never found a doctor that I wanted to talk bout my issues with but the doctor there really listen to me and didn't make me feel like I was broken. 6/8/10 I walked into St Illa. Broken, afraid, and ashamed. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, but the staff treated me with respect. I completed detox and set about putting the pieces of my life back together. It has been a long and winding road, but I started college at age 50 and have been working in the field of addiction treatment for 6 years.
Yesterday marked 13 years drug free and the memory of the moment I walked through those doors remains fresh in my mind.
If you’re reading this with the thought of seeking treatment, do it. Do it now. You can be free. You are worth it. This place literally saved my life.
To the staff- I did not understand at the time everything you said and did, or why. But I do now. I’m sure none of the same people are there, but I will forever be grateful ♥️

I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people.
Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Carter and her wonderful assistants, Shannon and Regina, who made my husband’s very first VA visit outstanding. After his two years of service in Vietnam, we’d avoided the VA because of horror stories—but today changed everything.
The building was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left feeling grateful and impressed. I’d give them a 10/10 if I could—and that’s saying a lot, because I don’t hand out glowing reviews easily.

Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful.
This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue.
I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time.
ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here.
