Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful. This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue. I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time. I evacuated from Tampa under FEMA orders. The Governor had past a of a heritage act which allows veterans to get prescriptions filled at any pharmacy in the heritage foundation for free. I called the call center and they told me to go to the clinic pharmacy and they would take care of it. When I went to the pharmacy at the clinic I was told to sit down they take care of it. I sat for 20 minutes for the same guy to come back and tell me that I had to go to the urgent Care section and be triage by a nurse, then see a doctor so he could write a prescription! I asked to speak to the supervisor of the pharmacy. I waited about 10 minutes to talk to him. Like a parrot he repeated the protocol garbage. I kept repeating that this was a FEMA emergency that I had been ordered to evacuate and my prescription refill was in the mail to my home Tampa. I was trying to refill an antidepressant I only had one pill left. I wasn't going to wait in line to go to see a doctor for a prescription that I already had in my records. I left. After finding out more information about the heritage act online I went to Publix that was more than happy to comply and give me a 30-day supply, however I had to pay $25 out of pocket. It's not the money that's the complaint. It's the VA they kept stating over and over as if it was a rehearse thing between everyone that I talk to saying it's"protocol" well as far as I'm concerned you know what they can do with their protocol. I could not believe that they treated me with such ignorance, disdain and lack of empathy!!! I plan to get a hold of my Congress person as soon as this emergency has calmed down I am back in Tampa now. Where it is never been a problem if I didn't get my prescriptions on time to go to the pharmacy and get a few days worth of medicine as long as it wasn't a narcotic. I did speak with the person who said he was the supervisor of the pharmacy this was on the 9th of October. I do hope someone is held accountable for their error. I plan on reporting it to the governor also seeing as how he saw fit to pass a law that provided for veterans that were displaced due to his orders! I need to also let you know that I'm in chronic pain which I'm due to be treated for this coming week. I was also wearing a boot on my foot because of a injury when the supervisor took me to the emergency care he walked as if he was going to a fire with no regard for me! There was no one else in line at the pharmacy I was the last person. ###

For the past few years I’ve been truly desperate and I couldn’t sleep at night because I was so worried about Daniel. I know God has always had a plan for my son but sometimes it was like he was running as hard as he could from The Lord. When you’re out in the world I guess you really don’t think about anything but your next selfish act or poor decision. My son has been at The Men’s Challenge Center in Dublin since November 1, 2018 and for the first time in years, he looks, sounds, acts, and IS the man that God intended him to be! He is finally doing really well and this transformation has been absolutely a miracle! The people at the Men’s Challenge help the men come to know The Lord Jesus Christ and with training, encouragement, & responsibility they make the battle winnable! I’m so excited every time I see or talk to my son Daniel now because it’s “leaps and bounds” growth every month! I have ALWAYS known that God has a plan for my Daniel and now Daniel knows God has a plan him...a plan for the good! Now instead of running from The Lord Daniel is chasing after Jesus as fast as he can! Here at Mens Challenge they leave the 99 and go after the one lost sheep! Praise The Lord!

Honestly I love Dr Durden, he's amazing and so sweet. I have white coat syndrome which either makes me ramble or I don't speak at all, he was so courteous and cracked a lot of jokes while listening to me the whole time. I have ADHD and did not want to be on stimulants so we tried something I was on as a child, sadly it no longer seems to work so he put me on something else that works wonders. He listened to me communicate my issues, gave advice and simultaneously told me the probable cause of the issue. I will say front desk does rent to never answer calls, and they don't really speak unless you ask them questions. As far as that goes o can get over it relatively easily as I'm not too conversational with most and it makes checking in less awkward for me. The phone issue is a bit aggravating but when I call the operator instead of front desk she helps me out pretty quickly and is very courteous.

Dr. Shuman is good. The entire building is very clean and spacious. Comforting art all over. Front desk clerks are unfriendly. The crisis coordinator helped me find a facility for my child, and she didn't care that it took all day. She went above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough. 👏🏾👏🏾 The IC3 coordinator is amazing as well. When he says that he is going to be there for you anyway, he can; he means it; no matter what time or day. If I didn't have these two amazing people step in when they did; we wouldn't have gotten the help we needed. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

I was forced to go to Lakeview but I'm happy that I did. I finally admitted that I was an addict and I needed help and I need to change my life. At first I did not want to participate or talk with anyone but after a couple days of hearing other people's stories I realize where I was at in my life and where I was going to end up if I continue. During my stay here I follow their program schedule and start going to the group therapy. For some you may think it's dumb, useless, waste of time but if you really just be more open-minded and use what they teach you it will make a big difference in your life. A big plus for me while I was here was the pool and the gym, never really use the pool but it is a very nice pool with a nice view of the pond I'm back to the gym the gym have everything that you need and yes they do have real trainers. You only get access to the pool and gym if you're in the store, php, and IOP if you're in stepping stone you're out of luck. Yes you can bring your car and leave it park at the Star Wednesday and Saturday are outings AA meeting Monday, Wednesday and Friday NA meeting Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Walmart runs and etc

I had the pleasure of touring last week; what an awesome experience. Thank you, Isabella and Natalia, for taking the time to tour me and discuss the program. Peace and Purpose Asheville are always looking to forge relationships with treatment centers and Lakeview's clinical staff are second to none, in my experience. They also have an awesome integration program which involves client exposure to the outside, where they go shopping and are involved with a lot of off-campus activities. No hesitation recommending it as a great program for family and loved ones. Keep up the good work Lakeview! Ronan O’Loughlin Peace and Purpose
