Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful. This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue.I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people s time.ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and Ashley is always super sweet. They have always been professional and they have automated calls to remind you of your upcoming appointments. I'm very sad to see such bad reviews on here. I guess the only people that bother with a review is the people who have bad experiences. They have helped me so much!

I'm so very thankful I found this place! I've been going here for quite some time and I know it has helped me. TREMENDOUSLY! Mr. Bill is an extremely considerate and patient person to hear all of my situations without criticism. Miss Alicia has done so much to upgrade the facility and you can tell she wholeheartedly cares. And my wonderful nurses, well they are the best!! Mrs. Katherine, Mrs. Janice and Mrs. Shanda are the most thoughtful women you will ever meet!! After all the time I've spent here, it almost seems like a small family. Definitely a supportive community. I would highly recommend to anyone!! I appreciate everything they do to help the community!

Nurse Mary is amazing! She is one of most professional, caring, and sweet nurses I ve ever met. You can tell she really cares about her job and her patients. The counselor I was assigned, Constance is also very kind, knowledgeable, and caring. I would recommend this facility to others in need. My only issue is that when a patient wants to come down on their medication, it should be up to the patient and not the doctors and counselors. As long as you re doing it under the care of them and slowly, coming down to eventually come off the medication should be encouraged. If your new to this place, keep in mind the higher you go dose wise on your medication, the longer it will take you to come down and off IF THEY LET YOU.

First off, I would like to thank the staff for all their effort in my treatment plans and helping me to get better. It was an eye opening experience. I was fortunate to also have made new friendships with some amazing folks who also has their own story. Just remember you are not alone. This place can really help if you truly embrace the treatment plans. I realized the ones who gave this place a negative review are the ones who fought their treatment plans and demanded to go home before they were ready to be cured. That being said, I especially want to thank a few staff members that went above and beyond for me, Miss Lisa, you my girl thank you for ALWAYS looking out for me! Miss Erika, many blessings to you for sharing your story it was heartfelt, Miss Nicole I hope you had fun at your concert and keep smiling, and Miss Ashton you have been such a delight and very entertaining. Thank you Big Mike the cook for the yummy alternatives when we did not agree with main meals. My decision to enroll in and complete the intensive outpatient program at New Day Counseling was one of the best decisions of my life. The group therapy sessions, the private therapy sessions, and the educational classes were of the highest quality. This program has given me not only an understanding of my struggle with alcohol use disorder but the tools to manage it and live a more successful and fulfilling life. I highly recommend this program for any and all individuals suffering from the disease of addiction.

I'm a patient at Newday counseling, and I called there seeking professional help. There, I've found people that they were willing to help me get started with my process. Professionalism is what I found, people who knew about my addiction and are willing to educate me. There, I've found a lot more than what I expected, there is a 24 hour hot line, with a the other end willing to talk with me about issues that I was having problems with, and help me understand my addiction. I go to this place four times a week, under three different counselors. That communicate well with each other to help me Even when I don't feel like listening to the professional side of addiction, I still leave there what's something. When NewDay counselors encounter a person that wants to do something with their life they dig in just as deep as I did. For that I am truly grateful.........

My daughter attended here twice in 2024. She was 16yrs old with multiple serious mental health diagnosis. I suspected she had a few of them but after 11 stays prior (mostly acute and a few residential), this was the only place to officially diagnosis her properly. On her second stay (after insurance was prematurely denied) she was given the right medication and with the help and accountability of both her therapist at each stay, she finally own up to her behaviors and lies she told over the years. She made proper apologies and a game plan to get back on track with her family relationships.Since she been out, she been much better compared to all the other times.I suggest for any parent is to really see what meds work for your kid or done. I learned that my kid can t take ADHD meds bc it causes severe depression and increase in mental illness. The place is nice and the staff are doing their best here. I find that most kids are upset about being there and their mental illness is getting in the way of them realizing they are being helped. My kid was like that over the many stays she had in these places. Unless she got some serious allegations, I try to get my kid to see the other persons side or how they could better handle a situation better even if it s with staff. Also I call and talk with staff to verify things bc my kids isn t truthful and I know that so why try to make it seem they can do no wrong.I hope this review helps other parents when making a decision to go here. We are out of ATL but I m glad she went here.

My stay at Coastal Harbor was exactly what I needed to get better. Most of the staff were very respectful and caring. Yes there was one or two that treated the patients disrespectfully. The night nurse "Quita" was the main one. She would talk down to us or treat us as though we were less than. Ms. Lisa on t other hand was amazing and truly cared about us. When I left she gave me a hug and told me she loved me and that I was going to make it. Those words was exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. To all the Coastal Harbor staff thank you. You guys do so much for the patients in such a short time with being so short staffed.

This place really did help me. I felt the need to write a review after seeing some of the others because Im thinking some of the staff has changed since they were written. (or management or something?) I was here in 2019 and heres my view on it.Almost everyone here really helped me recover and learn how to cope better than ever before. The daily activities ranged from learning classes to understand what we re going through better all the way to recreation/art classes to stay entertained and get our endorphins and creativity going. The classes allow you to spend the daytime engaged and learning, then you can use your free time at night to reflect on it and apply it to your own life. All of the group leaders were absolutely amazing. Honestly, I hated them on day one (no ones happy on day one..) but the second I decided to actually submerge myself in the therapy and really try- it worked. and I immediately understood how amazing and helpful these people are. They even made sure I was set up for success before I left with appointments in place to maintain a good mental health care regimen. I still use the tips and tools i learned in there on a day to day basis. I am so thankful for this place and the workers who helped save my life.A small few amount of nurses did seem to be there just for the job and were quite insensitive, but if there were nurses on one night that you may not be a fan of, youll have a complete different set the next day most likely.I think this place is amazing and if you really allow yourself to participate and try to better yourself here, you ll succeed.

From the billing and administrative staff to the counselors, The Behavioral Wellness Group is a well organized, clinically experienced and compassionate group ! I highly recommend licensed professional counselors ,Erin Pawlak and Stephanie Jacobs ! They are kind, compassionate, attentive and skilled. The IOP programs are amazing options for adolescents and adults and one the only or few of their kind in the Bluffton, SC area. Another positive to the group is that they are in network with many different insurance companies and their billing practices are transparent and seamless unlike so many other groups in the area, they also offer other billing options such as Care Credit or billing installment plans if necessary. Phone calls and emails are answered promptly and you will never feel alone and lost here !

I was traveling to Savannah, Ga for the holidays and really needed to find a meeting. The 24 hour club was amazing! They had several meeting rooms available, fresh coffee, food, and several people that were very helpful. It s a safe haven for those battling addiction. It s a home base to turn to when you are in need.
