In my experience with VA's clinics from NY to FL the waits times are typically terrible. At this location it is not the case. I am usually in and out fairly quickly and the staff is always polite and answers any question asked. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Unless something has really changed in the 3 years since my daughter was an inpatient, these comments on the 1 star reviews are way off base. Read them with skepticism. Recovery Place has over 30 years experience and would not be around if it was not working. Recovery Place was just what my daughter needed and saved our lives.

The place is filled to the brim with good people who do great work. I know it can be difficult to reach out for help, but please, for yourself at least, do it. The team at Samba have your back, and they will get you where you need to go. <3

Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful. This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue. I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time. ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and Ashley is always super sweet. They have always been professional and they have automated calls to remind you of your upcoming appointments. I'm very sad to see such bad reviews on here. I guess the only people that bother with a review is the people who have bad experiences. They have helped me so much!

I have been admitted a few times involuntary but I was suicidal and it was a very bad time dealing with my past they always treated me with respect I was so scared they brought me in handcuffed they got me on meds and made sure there was a plan when I got out

It is fairly easy to visit or go to appointments here; the employees at the security desk are nice. You get a sticker at the desk before you head upstairs. (I was pleased to see that Valentine cards were collected here to be distributed to the patients!) Snack & drink machines are available in the lobby area. *From PRESIDENT STREET: The left side is the SOUTH building, and the right side is NORTH. A PEDESTRIAN GREENWAY with tables, games and food trucks is in between the psych building and the parking garage. *About 12 metered parking spots are available on President Street. *Plan to park in one of two parking garages. One is on Bee Street. The other one, my preference, is at the end of President Street, past the Psych building and the Pedestrian Greenway. This is the MUSC JONATHAN LUCAS GARAGE. (As opposed to the Roper same name garage) *Cars may be parked directly in front of the Psych Institute only if someone is in the vehicle, waiting to pick up a patient being discharged. *If you park in a parking garage, take your parking slip with you and get it stamped at your appointment so that your parking fee will be either reduced or paid in full.

La verdad es que fue una experiencia algo extraña pero aún así la pase bien solamente que pienso que deberían hacer más actividades durante el día no y estar tanto tiempo en la habitación pero sobre todo en el hospital tienen la regla de no tocarse pero hubo un señor que aveces tocada alguna parte del cuerpo de uno de los pacientes(no intima pero llegó a incomodar a muchos de los pacientes),este lugar es para mejorar pero no se me hace correcto que un hombre adulto toque a uno de los pacientes cuando no es necesario,están para ayudar no para intimidar sobre todo muchas gracias Sarah por cuidar de mi eres una persona extraordinaria ❤️‍🩹

I like it just make sure you connect with your therapist because someone who doesn’t like you will not be able to help you. Many resources and words of kindness were given to me :)

I was court ordered here we had a lot of ups and downs but I had the best therapist Cindy she helped so much dr Fredrick was awsome too it was a hard and long road with ptsd and other things I was done with therapy in Dec and just see the dr but I was on disability Medicare and my meds were getting very expensive I tried to get help but couldn't. I kept thinking maybe I can get them next month but just didn't have the money I was on a few different ones so I canceled my dr appt told them why so now I'm 10 months later it's hard so hard but I try to push everyday the depression is bad I've learned a lot of coping skills they truly did their best to help but I feel like I wasted all their time the combo meds and therapy saved my life it breaks my heart that all our hard work was just to add a few yrs on but if anyone needs help this is the place to go thank you Cindy and Dr Fredrick you truly cared and the staff the nurses would always call back or help im any way

My\n Name is Gregory fry and I have to say the overall experience at Palm metal health was terrible. They dumped me off at the bus station, knew I missed a bus, contacted me and told me it was my problem anyway, there's one nurse there that works at night time I don't know her name, but she's from France. She is so nice on hand she does everything she can to help everybody make everybody feel good only because of her, I'm giving you all 5 stars only because of her, the counselors there are terrible. They don't care about you or maybe it's racism. I don't know once again. I'm going to say there's a nurse that works at night time. She's from France. She's the best only because of her. I'm giving you all 5 stars. If you want an alternative, if you need help go to Charleston simmer, the Charleston center, please, they will help you, I'm leaving for any length recovery now. Charleston center helped me 100% nurse from France. I love you

The units could use some updating but all of the staff were amazing from the techs to the therapists to the social workers to the Drs and nurses.

Wonderful organization that we have used for several years for a variety of projects. Top quality work on all fronts and priced so low you wouldn't believe it. - Landscaping: Tamed an overgrown backyard, redid our planters and beautifully mulched our front beds. - Moving: Relocated from house to house and assisted us in moving some estate sale furniture. - Contracting: Helped us remove awnings and get a 1940's home renovated before going on the market. They also helped us with some more major work like repairing a rotten floor beam and pulling down an old deck. - Painting: repainted the interior of our house. BEAUTIFUL work.
