Waypoint Recovery was a God-send. When I placed the first call to ask for help, the staff was so kind and spoke to me with such care and concern. The facility was beautiful and made me feel safe so that I could just concentrate on getting better. I can’t thank everyone there enough for watching over us and speaking to us like humans and not just addicts. I would definitely recommend this recovery center to others.

I left Waypoint Recovery center Dec 1 with so much knowledge about recovery especially my own. And I learned so much about other people. I learned how to love and to be loved again. The entire staff at Waypoint Recovery in Cameron are consummate professionals but it's not just that, they loved me the the moment I got there to the moment I graduated and continue to love me to this very moment. I love them back more than they could ever know. Mrs Tara C. (I'll get back to her) Invited me back to visit yesterday and it was such a blessing to see them all from this side of things too. It was an amazing moment for me. Sarah Collinsworth from waypoint helped figure out to get me there in the first place and she never gave up on me. God bless her for that. Turner the actual CEO is there almost every day even some weekends. He has an open door policy for residents all the time and has free candy. That's unheard of I think and it starts with people like him and his staff being there for us. The BHAS JENNIFER FAITH JAMAL DEVON AALIYAH OLYMPIA ELIZABETH ALLISON ASHLEY SHAMIKA MYKAYLA and im missing some but these folks are there to help and are always smiling doing it. Scott the aftercare coordinator is phenomenal with so much wisdom, I had just had to listen to him. My counselor Shawna. She is amazing and I will love her for our conversations and the conversations she's had with my family. And there's Mrs Tara. The sweetest most humble person I know. The most loving person to everyone there without batting an eye I honestly don't know when she loves herself but really that's how she loves herself. She's so amazing and just want me to work for myself and never give on my recovery and never give up on life or other people or most of all God. I will forever be in debt to Waypoint recovery because people like Mrs Tara and those just like her saved me from the old Brandon and helped me shine light on the real me inside that needed to come out. Our loved one had to go into this facility.. Everyone at the facility was loving and kind. Understanding of the situation and how hard it was for not only our loved one but ourselves as well. They worked diligently with our loved one and the next step facility upon leaving there. They went above and beyond to make sure that our loved one made a good choice to support his success. I highly recommend palmetto low country behavioral health. Unit 2 Staff was helpful and attentive. Tammy, the representative who worked with our loved one went above and beyond. She helped him to see that he couldn't just continue the way he was that he needed the next step and helped him to understand and feel comfortable in making that choice. She gets 10 stars!

Beautiful ❤️ Beautiful ❤️ 10 day stay April 25, 2026 to May 5, 2026 😊. Lord knows I needed to rest for a few days 🫂. The Hot Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) were amazing. I didn't have to cook 👩🏾‍🍳 not once 😊. Everyone was amazing 🤝🏾💜. I appreciate the help I needed to mentally get back on track.

I waited 11 years for a Hurnia surgery. Atlanta Veterans Hospital failed me. Hampton Virginia veterans hospital failed me. Finally, Dr Evans was very confident she could repair the double hurnia without delay. Instead of making me wait years, she had me done in weeks. I'm so thankful for Charleston Veterans Hospital. I wish I could give all the surgical staff an A+.

I am absolutely 💯 % pleased with front desk staff, nurses, and the particular doctors I visit here. Dr. Friedman my pain doctor does acupuncture and Dr. Rothmeyer is excellent Chiropractor. I have been seeing both for awhile now, I honestly didn't think Acupuncture would be as amazing as it is, Dr. Friedman is awesome! Thank everyone that works here for the outstanding service you provide!

I had an appointment for a blood draw today. Great check in procedures and Covid19 screening. Very pleasant and young lady who checked me in. As I waited in the waiting room, I sat at a social distance of 6-feet from the front entrance check in. I had no other places to sit because of the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. I saw each patient coming in and I couldn’t avoid hearing there names and last #4 of their Social Security Numbers. (Not good privacy), but what astonished me was the amount of Veterans who came in that didn’t even have an appointment just to stop in and drop things off for their PCM’s, or had questions, or wanted to talk about their health...hello, we are in a Covid19 and I couldn’t understand why there isn’t “common sense” being used, or not understanding that you just can’t drop in. I’ve ALWAYS have had great service at this VA-Trident clinic from the laboratory and they’ve always have been in time. When I did get called back, I was asked how I was doing, and I replied not well today! Ms Luz, responded, “that’s good”! I said, why did you just say that after I said I wasn’t doing good? Ms Luz (name badge said her name and that she’s from PERU , and she said that’s it’s just natural to say that. Well, I don’t think that this is a natural reply, and if you really ask someone how they are doing, listen to that persons response, and respond with sincerity. That’s why I gave a 4-star rating today.I

My only regret about this place is I didn't come here sooner!! I recently completed the PHP inpatient program here. I immediately felt a positive and welcoming energy walking thru the doors. I met with their intake employee and could tell he genuinely cared about my well being and he helped to instill hope in me that things were going to be ok from day one. Super awesome, caring, and Genuine guy. My recovery manager I was assigned was on the ball and I immediately felt I could trust him and that he understood what I had been going through. My therapist I was assigned was also amazing and I got a lot out of our one-on-ones and our group therapy sessions. I almost didn't want to leave lol. The other program participants were actually happy to be there and I have never seen that at any other place Ive gone to. The entire staff really worked hard for my recovery and I can't say enough great things about this place in one day. The classes were very informative and helped me shape an entirely different perspective on life. I left there a different person I was when I came in for sure and I'm so grateful to be alive today. I wanted to die a month ago. Thank y'all so much for helping me get my life back, my family back, and a strong foundation to build my life back on. It's a lot of work to go through something like this but if you are struggling like I was, give yourself a break and come check this place out because you deserve it and it's worth it!! 💪🙏❤️ Thank you Lantana!! The Kennedy center is a really good place to go if you are interested in recovery and actually want to get help and participate. They’re very helpful and considerate in knowing that sometimes things happen, and sometimes you make mistakes. They help you a lot with coming up with a plan, and keeping you busy while in recovery. The Kennedy center has helped me a lot in realizing that I had a problem and want to get better. And they’re also doing their best at helping me to get better. Also have to give a shoutout to Amanda, Theresa, and Debbie and Julie. They’re super nice and my favorites. Also, Bob Ross on the TV.

Great experience! Obviously I didn’t want to be there at first and was even angry about it, but it turned out to be the best support group and nonjudgmental outlet I could have ever asked for and didn’t even know I needed! Your people are extremely friendly. They make me feel very welcome.Angela does an awesome job! The only problem I have with the treatment is the noise. There are people yelling down the hallway at each other. There are people walking down the hallway with hard soul shoes. When doing a treatment, we need silence. Noise brings us out of the treatment and sometimes it’s hard to get back into it. Other than that, the experience has been very good.

I can never thank Jennifer, the staff, Alex Allen, Dillon’s mentors and friends at Charleston Recovery Center and God enough for saving my son’s life. For 12+ years, and thousands of hours of me spending day after day, and night after night staying awake to watch him, making sure he was breathing, I’d accepted the fact that it was likely we would celebrate his life at his funeral, and now we get to celebrate his life, his future and his sobriety in just 6 more days. Thank you Charleston Recovery Center for this most precious and priceless gift! I’ve always known Dillon has a servant’s heart, and it filled mine on my last visit hearing other residents speak about how much Dillon has and continues to help them on their recovery journey. I traveled to MUSC for the first time today for business purposes. I was lost and had six heavy bags with me. The Nurse Manager, Claudia, from Unit 3 North of the Institute of Psychiatry approached me to offer help and spent approximately two hours assisting me. She certainly has numerous responsibilities, so I am especially grateful that she took the time. I am impressed with her efforts to exceed the highest standards of care and service. I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people. Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Carter and her wonderful assistants, Shannon and Regina, who made my husband’s very first VA visit outstanding. After his two years of service in Vietnam, we’d avoided the VA because of horror stories—but today changed everything. The building was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left feeling grateful and impressed. I’d give them a 10/10 if I could—and that’s saying a lot, because I don’t hand out glowing reviews easily.

9/10 Been going here off and on for 4 years. I’ve tried 5-6 different clinics and this one is best in class. Lost my job and couldn’t afford to pay anymore, so I was offered a 6 month all paid state grant so I could continue to receive my medication and treatment during the tough times. I am greatful for the staff and consider myself lucky to live in proximity to MUSC. I honestly expected cafeteria grade food from high school school. but the jerk chicken, roast, bbq (pulled pork) meals were sincerely good, not just "as good as you would expect". I am thankful as well to some of the other patients. For a lot of people there it is some of the worst days of their lives. The atmosphere is very focused on healing, and they provide the tools. If you want to put in the work you will find not only the staff, but other patients as well, are there to help you. The atmosphere is understandably stressful circumstances given, but the staff make every effort to accommodate and offer comfort.

I’ve lived in the Summerville area for years now. Born & raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Now raising three of my own in Summerville, (three beautiful girls)… …& for those who know the process, it’s just not easy finding therapists/counselors/ psychologists/psychiatrists— (whatever may have you ), all in one— and I’ve been to MANY so far for my two oldest daughters. I’ve seen reviews on here for Google on this specific location and they were not so good. BUT— you can NOT always go off the reviews—first hand, & that’s coming from my personal experiences, because ALL of my visits so far have been absolutely amazing!!!! The receptionist, “Shelly” is SO sweet, SO patient and super inviting. In the event of me always rushing here to be on time, when I arrive all flustered—she just makes you feel at ease and it’s simply refreshing. The building is spacious and very clean as well, so they do a great job with that. The girls’s therapists are amazing as well and I’m still getting to know them, as it’s been our first couple visits so far! My oldest daughter’s is Mrs. Sanders—( she’s great & very personable). I will update this review with my other daughter’s very soon. So, if you are looking for therapy and medication either for yourself or your children & are also in the Summerville area— I highly recommend this place!! The therapy I continue to receive here became available at a very crucial point in time. My therapist/ counselor is excellent at her job and works with my schedule. Remote visits are even available when I’m not able to attend in-person. The cost is either free or extremely inexpensive, depending on one’s financial situation. This facility is a necessary asset to our community.

Her therapists Joy and Devine and her team reached her and helped her out of her negative self harming habits and gave her inner strength and ability to deal with things in a positive way.
