No idea what any negative review here is talking about—I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. The staff, specialists, doctors and nurses are polite, helpful and attentive. I tell all of my veteran homies about this place.

Seen physical therapy and PCP I had to switch at first it was a struggle but now my PCP is really good

Great and they care. Took my child here and they have a great prevention team that goes to events. They also do parent meeting to help them out. Helped my child complete classes and taught him a lot about not smoking of vaping.

In my experience they truly have cared and have worked to help my loved one who struggles with addiction. Very professional.

Went to the pain center and chiropractor here

I am absolutely 💯 % pleased with front desk staff, nurses, and the particular doctors I visit here. Dr. Friedman my pain doctor does acupuncture and Dr. Rothmeyer is excellent Chiropractor. I have been seeing both for awhile now, I honestly didn't think Acupuncture would be as amazing as it is, Dr. Friedman is awesome! Thank everyone that works here for the outstanding service you provide!

I had an appointment for a blood draw today. Great check in procedures and Covid19 screening. Very pleasant and young lady who checked me in. As I waited in the waiting room, I sat at a social distance of 6-feet from the front entrance check in. I had no other places to sit because of the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. I saw each patient coming in and I couldn’t avoid hearing there names and last #4 of their Social Security Numbers. (Not good privacy), but what astonished me was the amount of Veterans who came in that didn’t even have an appointment just to stop in and drop things off for their PCM’s, or had questions, or wanted to talk about their health...hello, we are in a Covid19 and I couldn’t understand why there isn’t “common sense” being used, or not understanding that you just can’t drop in. I’ve ALWAYS have had great service at this VA-Trident clinic from the laboratory and they’ve always have been in time. When I did get called back, I was asked how I was doing, and I replied not well today! Ms Luz, responded, “that’s good”! I said, why did you just say that after I said I wasn’t doing good? Ms Luz (name badge said her name and that she’s from PERU , and she said that’s it’s just natural to say that. Well, I don’t think that this is a natural reply, and if you really ask someone how they are doing, listen to that persons response, and respond with sincerity. That’s why I gave a 4-star rating today.I

The Berkeley Community Health Center provides Mental health crisis services, case management, outpatient counseling and psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Berkeley county. These services are much needed in the world we live in today impacting our children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance. Prior reviews are just a sign of so much negativity in the world we are living in these days and there are so many unseen conditions affecting cognitive behaviors. With a clear vision and mission to serve our community, Berkeley Community Health Center, practices their values of respect, professionalism and commitment to quality in a world full of diversity. And, they do not discriminate or refuse services to anyone based on age, sex, gender, race, religion, disability, national origin, health status, sexual orientation or economic status. From past traumas and all my personal issues post covid I had to deal with not limited to the arrival of my mother in law- marriage crisis- to depression-anxiety and unseen illness-fibromyalgia.I was overwhelmed but I now I am so grateful for Berkeley Community Health Center I appreciate them so much for making me stronger and giving me the tools to continue my day to day life’s journey. A friend approached my husband with some family issues and my husband recommended mental health and my elderly mother goes to therapy in Spanish. Her anxiety has lessened and she has a better quality of life. For example, “If you have a scratch- you place a bandaid but if you experience a broken arm you go to the doctor”. Same with unseen issues or that feeling of being overwhelmed, I highly recommend Berkeley Community Health Center.

From the moment of walking in today I was nervous. I was greeted by the security guard and the lady at the front desk was nothing but nice and respectful as well as greeted me. I went to have a talk with Nochelle who is amazing and if there is anything I can say about this office is that it is heartfelt and warming and can’t wait to see what my other appointments hold in the future!

I love this place! Was the best place that I found help for my son! Miss Jackie is a wonderful person. She really cares.

I’ve lived in the Summerville area for years now. Born & raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Now raising three of my own in Summerville, (three beautiful girls)… …& for those who know the process, it’s just not easy finding therapists/counselors/ psychologists/psychiatrists— (whatever may have you ), all in one— and I’ve been to MANY so far for my two oldest daughters. I’ve seen reviews on here for Google on this specific location and they were not so good. BUT— you can NOT always go off the reviews—first hand, & that’s coming from my personal experiences, because ALL of my visits so far have been absolutely amazing!!!! The receptionist, “Shelly” is SO sweet, SO patient and super inviting. In the event of me always rushing here to be on time, when I arrive all flustered—she just makes you feel at ease and it’s simply refreshing. The building is spacious and very clean as well, so they do a great job with that. The girls’s therapists are amazing as well and I’m still getting to know them, as it’s been our first couple visits so far! My oldest daughter’s is Mrs. Sanders—( she’s great & very personable). I will update this review with my other daughter’s very soon. So, if you are looking for therapy and medication either for yourself or your children & are also in the Summerville area— I highly recommend this place!! For me, it’s very convenient because it’s less than 10 minutes away. It’s a win-win. 😊 Thank you guys for all your hard work, Nikki Gallagher.

Anyone who talked smack about this place is completely hopeless. You will never get your kids back. So stop virtue signaling on the internet. This place is awesome. And i look forward to every session i have there. So sorry if you food stamps didn't cover the bill, hey but at least you can still get lobster.....

Keep in mind, to whomever reads these reviews, that there's a new sheriff in town at Alternatives. New location and new management but kept the business name for familiarity reasons. He actually listens to people and is willing to help anyone who commissions it. The first step to any kind of recovery in life is admitting you need help.

Working here as peer support has taught me more in recovery <3 my coworkers all care deeply for the work they do and the people that walk through these doors never go unnoticed.

I have been to many recovery centers five since 2023 but this place is awsome Barry Brooke sam fin every employee is dedicates to your recovery and focuses on one thing getting you better and back to life I would definitely recommend

I don't leave reviews... so the one and only review that I will leave will be for the place that gave me a hope when I had none. I went to this facility July 9, 2018. One of the instructors there said that he had never relapsed and when he picked up his chip he wasn't going back to have to pick it up again. This challenged me... I have been sober for 6 years now. This facility taught me surrender. It taught me humility. It gave me a soft cushion to land while learning these lessons about the terrible person I was. It offered me a hand to help me up... most of all... it gave me a plan of how to live and never get back into the condition I had gotten myself into. I carry the Big Book with me everywhere I go in my van with my now 3 children. I am a child of God, I am a wife, and I am a mother. Thank you Owls Nest Recovery... may you be proud of the difference you make in the world. You are making sober soldiers that carry this message to others. God is moving in this place... keep it up!

I've been with Circle Park for 7 months now. I can't say enough. This place has been with me every step of the way. The counselors have been right by my side any time I've needed them and for anything I've needed them. They offer counseling services as often as I need. Trying to do this alone has been hard and I've found it impossible. But doing this with support, I've found it much easier. I'm thankful for the resources that Circle Park offers! Thank you for what you do for the community! ❤️

This place has assisted me in turning my life around. The people that work in this place, engage you ..challenge you to become a better YOU. Their programs are true. When taken seriously can rehabilitate your addiction mindset...I've been there twice. The first time...i didnt take it seriously checked the boxes..minimum participation....slid my way through. My life fell apart and ended up there again . ..court orders aside...an open door.. IS AN OPEN DOOR! I took it seriously and it helped me find peace and a sense of who I was amidst everything I had done and tools to become better. To those two individuals whom have had to deal with me when i attended their program...I thank you immensely.

I've been a patient here three times. The nurses and counselors are really nice and down-to-earth. They are friendly and like to cut up. The food is delicious and better than most cafeterias serve. The techs act professional and help is always available. There are groups that are mandatory unless you're ill and bedridden. (This is a detox.) There is a dayroom where you can watch TV and play board games, cards, or socialize. There iis a selections of books on display to choose from if you're a bookworm. A TV is also in your room, which is even more cool. Cell phones are prohibited. There is no smoking. You can request a nicotine patch. Counseling is optional. Visitation is available on a certain day during your stay. Overall, I recommend this facility. BRUCE HALL IS TERRIFIC!

Hats off to The front desk team Amazing !!!! There welcome smiles make a great day coming in. they have anaswers and if not they have someone come up and help you right away. Now getting an appointment that different store yes it can take a bit to get an appointment and all the paperwork it worth cause after that it smooth sailing. Me and my boys come here and our family counseling is done here as well . We have constant communication with our counselors. Fixable and the kids counselor gets to visit them at the school too, so they don’t miss school either and after school hours for our hard working family’s I am so very pleased with the team that is in play for my family can’t wait to see our growth

I am awed at the care and treatment I receive here. The doctors, therapist and staff are so kind. I wouldn't take any money in the world for my therapist! She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. This facility has changed my life! It's always scary to start new with mental health doctors. I've been going here since 2017 and I'm the healthiest I've ever been.
