Waypoint saved my life. I’ll forever be grateful for what Whatpoint did for me. Even though it took me multiple times coming through I didn’t give up because I knew there was hope. The staff there were very good and encouraging even when I would come back. If it wasn’t for the program and some of the staff as defeated as I was coming back over and over I would have continued to give up on myself. Lane gave me a lot of hope and only wanted the best for me. Thankful for waypoint and it being part of my journey in recovery. 11 months ago I didn’t think I’d ever be able to stop and stay stopped. Today I have hope and my life just keep getting better everyday. Would recommend this program for anyone who wants to start living a new and better life.

It has been several years since I attended Grace Home, but I'm here today to say they introduced God into my life in a whole new way. I have gone through many trails since graduating but the tools and relationship with our God almighty I gained from this place has given me strength and power like no other. I have since regained my life in incredible ways, by walking with christ guiding me through out the way. I rebuilt relationships with Family, Got full custody back of my son, gained a incredible Church family, joined the chior and have been involved with many groups with in my church. Since then I have lost my Mother from cancer, then this past year my Grandmother but the peace I received from grace has been with me through it all. Thank you Ms Susan and Ms Anita for guiding me daily and reminding me that God has a greater purpose for me. For motivating me and sharing your testimonies amd your love for God. I am a Child Of God, and he knows the plans he has for me. I truly love you all at grace the pastors were amazing and taught us so much. Kinda miss our daily schedules lol. If you are looking for a place to truly surrender and give it all to God, this is the place for you. I graduated December 23, 2020 and I have continued daily sober and striving to keep growing in my faith. This place absolutely amazing, from the dr to the therapists to the staff! They are amazing They really care and they understand because most of them been in our shoes. I never got along with females and the women I was surrounded by were so uplifting, I was truly blessed to have gotten the help that I did from Lantana. They show you what it feels like to have sober fun! Many of us in recovery get bored easily and dnt know how to sit still and that place showed me how. The people I met in lantana will always have a special place in my heart!

9/10 Been going here off and on for 4 years. I’ve tried 5-6 different clinics and this one is best in class. Lost my job and couldn’t afford to pay anymore, so I was offered a 6 month all paid state grant so I could continue to receive my medication and treatment during the tough times. This place saves lives, they have for sure saved mine and will always have my gratitude.
I could go on and on about some lack of communication and some run around but in reality the staff and counselors are constantly adapting to the revolving door and influx of new arrivals and departures.They genuinely care about your well being and your time there once out of detox is concentrated on groups and counseling to guide you to a life free of addiction! While there you get out what you put in, you enter a community of people with the same afflictions and pull together as one! Waypoint taught me the strength in connection and gave me the tools to change, Waypoint SAVED MY LIFE! I am grateful! Shout outs to Tara,Candy,Lane,Matt,Turner,Jenna,Landis (the van slayer)and all who lifted me up into some light when all was dark! Thank you

Waypoint Recovery is amazing yet similar to a third world country. No Facebook,snap, internet, email. Let alone a phone. However I was there for help and the staff was very compassionate about what they do. They truly do want to help you if your willing to accept it and help yourself. Special thanks to Jared, lane, ginger, Tara, and Matt. For all your support. The CEO is even active in the community always looking to improve Waypoint. And knows each patient by name. Say's a lot. Thanks Turner. On top of the wonderful staff the treatment center is in Cameron S.C on the most serene and peaceful piece of land. With a lake a island and nice log cabins. If your looking for real help to get a better life Waypoint is the place to start. You can even bring your fishing poles!!!

Waypoint recovery was what started my journey to recovery and truly saved my life. The staff there are amazing from the BHA the nurses the doctor the clinician staff I especially got so much help from Tara and Lane. I don’t know without them. Thank you so much waypoint I will definitely recommend this for anybody who has a family member struggling or if they’re struggling reach out they will send people to come and get you and help you get there because they truly care and the food was great And it’s clean and they have really cool goats

Really nice employees and it actually works! My partner and I had tried every kind of opioid use disorder treatment before this, including suboxone. The methadone program at Crossroads is a game changer. The staff are SO nice. I was shocked, as most other treatment places we have been to, the staff has seemed really over worked and burnt out. Jasmine at the front desk is truly a delight. She is so positive and will really work with you if you are having trouble financially. The nurses are also wonderful. Shout out to Tina. And also the nurse with black hair and tattoos. She is so so nice. And also the nurse who sits at window 4- she always asks me how I’m doing, if I have weekend plans, etc. These women have been amazing. Can’t forget the counselors either! I love Janae, she’s awesome. I miss Dr. Feisser. I’m so sad that he left the practice as he truly helped me to get sober and back on my antidepressants too.
I have always been disappointed with care received at Colleton Medical but I was in last week with my fiancée that all of a sudden became unconscious and I will say that we received the best fastest care ever!!! Within 15 minutes I knew the diagnosis he was placed on a vent with a central line and we the helicopter transport was there in another 5 minutes!! Thank you for all your care and support at the most difficult time and most of all Thanks for saving his life!!

Only favorable comments. right from the beginning...with the big friendly greeter, the registration, and the tests and technicians (Irene, Shannon, and the tech who maneuvered the huge, scary machine). The facilities were clean and I was very comfortable in the environment.
Best place I’ve been to. Nurses are chill. I loved Mr.Glenn and Mrs.Jennifer. They are the most understanding, chillest people i’ve ever interacted with . I made some mistakes while here and they won’t yell at you or make you feel bad, they were really understanding. Food is amazing! You go outside, are allowed to play xbox (they have provided), watch tv and they have good groups. You also have plenty of time to do school work. People fail to realize other people can only help you so much and you have to help yourself as well. You can’t rely on others to solve all your problems which I feel is why people give bad reviews. I do wish we were allowed to bring more clothing choices but no biggie!

They dumped me off at the bus station, knew I missed a bus, contacted me and told me it was my problem anyway, there's one nurse there that works at night time I don't know her name, but she's from France. She is so nice on hand she does everything she can to help everybody make everybody feel good only because of her, I'm giving you all 5 stars only because of her, the counselors there are terrible. They don't care about you or maybe it's racism. I don't know once again. I'm going to say there's a nurse that works at night time. She's from France. She's the best only because of her. I'm giving you all 5 stars. If you want an alternative, if you need help go to Charleston simmer, the Charleston center, please, they will help you, I'm leaving for any length recovery now. Charleston center helped me 100% nurse from France. I love you

The units could use some updating but all of the staff were amazing from the techs to the therapists to the social workers to the Drs and nurses.

No idea what any negative review here is talking about—I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. The staff, specialists, doctors and nurses are polite, helpful and attentive. I tell all of my veteran homies about this place.

Seen physical therapy and PCP I had to switch at first it was a struggle but now my PCP is really good
The ladies working up front were really nice. I took the ADSAP class and Monique was the counselor teaching it. She was super down to earth and easy to get along with and did a great class. The other 9 people in the class were also easy to get along with. All in all, I had a great experience.

What an outstanding experience at Dorchester, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober! I would recommend this center to anyone who needs a real change!
I am absolutely 💯 % pleased with front desk staff, nurses, and the particular doctors I visit here. Dr. Friedman my pain doctor does acupuncture and Dr. Rothmeyer is excellent Chiropractor. I have been seeing both for awhile now, I honestly didn't think Acupuncture would be as amazing as it is, Dr. Friedman is awesome! Thank everyone that works here for the outstanding service you provide!

I had an appointment for a blood draw today. Great check in procedures and Covid19 screening. Very pleasant and young lady who checked me in. As I waited in the waiting room, I sat at a social distance of 6-feet from the front entrance check in. I had no other places to sit because of the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. I saw each patient coming in and I couldn’t avoid hearing there names and last #4 of their Social Security Numbers. (Not good privacy), but what astonished me was the amount of Veterans who came in that didn’t even have an appointment just to stop in and drop things off for their PCM’s, or had questions, or wanted to talk about their health...hello, we are in a Covid19 and I couldn’t understand why there isn’t “common sense” being used, or not understanding that you just can’t drop in. I’ve ALWAYS have had great service at this VA-Trident clinic from the laboratory and they’ve always have been in time. When I did get called back, I was asked how I was doing, and I replied not well today! Ms Luz, responded, “that’s good”! I said, why did you just say that after I said I wasn’t doing good? Ms Luz (name badge said her name and that she’s from PERU , and she said that’s it’s just natural to say that. Well, I don’t think that this is a natural reply, and if you really ask someone how they are doing, listen to that persons response, and respond with sincerity. That’s why I gave a 4-star rating today.I
Your people are extremely friendly. They make me feel very welcome.Angela does an awesome job! The only problem I have with the treatment is the noise. There are people yelling down the hallway at each other. There are people walking down the hallway with hard soul shoes. When doing a treatment, we need silence. Noise brings us out of the treatment and sometimes it’s hard to get back into it. Other than that, the experience has been very good.

I can never thank Jennifer, the staff, Alex Allen, Dillon’s mentors and friends at Charleston Recovery Center and God enough for saving my son’s life. For 12+ years, and thousands of hours of me spending day after day, and night after night staying awake to watch him, making sure he was breathing, I’d accepted the fact that it was likely we would celebrate his life at his funeral, and now we get to celebrate his life, his future and his sobriety in just 6 more days. Thank you Charleston Recovery Center for this most precious and priceless gift! I’ve always known Dillon has a servant’s heart, and it filled mine on my last visit hearing other residents speak about how much Dillon has and continues to help them on their recovery journey. I hope that if you or a loved one suffer with addiction that you’ll reach out to Charleston Recovery Center for help. It’s hard to put into words, but upon arrival and everyday thereafter, you’ll immediately feel the love, empathy, understanding, support and encouragement from some of the best people you’ll ever meet, your recovery family. It is fairly easy to visit or go to appointments here; the employees at the security desk are nice. You get a sticker at the desk before you head upstairs.
(I was pleased to see that Valentine cards were collected here to be distributed to the patients!)

*From PRESIDENT STREET:
The left side is the SOUTH building, and the right side is NORTH.
A PEDESTRIAN GREENWAY with tables, games and food trucks is in between the psych building and the parking garage.
*About 12 metered parking spots are available on President Street.
*Plan to park in one of two parking garages. One is on Bee Street. The other one, my preference, is at the end of President Street, past the Psych building and the Pedestrian Greenway. This is the MUSC JONATHAN LUCAS GARAGE. (As opposed to the Roper same name garage)
*Cars may be parked directly in front of the Psych Institute only if someone is in the vehicle, waiting to pick up a patient being discharged.
*If you park in a parking garage, take your parking slip with you and get it stamped at your appointment so that your parking fee will be either reduced or paid in full.

La verdad es que fue una experiencia algo extraña pero aún así la pase bien solamente que pienso que deberían hacer más actividades durante el día no y estar tanto tiempo en la habitación pero sobre todo en el hospital tienen la regla de no tocarse pero hubo un señor que aveces tocada alguna parte del cuerpo de uno de los pacientes(no intima pero llegó a incomodar a muchos de los pacientes),este lugar es para mejorar pero no se me hace correcto que un hombre adulto toque a uno de los pacientes cuando no es necesario,están para ayudar no para intimidar sobre todo muchas gracias Sarah por cuidar de mi eres una persona extraordinaria ❤️🩹
Great and they care. Took my child here and they have a great prevention team that goes to events. They also do parent meeting to help them out. Helped my child complete classes and taught him a lot about not smoking of vaping.
