Would recommend their services to anyone seeking serious assistance with substance abuse. BHAs and Nursing staff were excellent and took care of my needs in a timely manner. Counselors were great. Each use different styles of communication to help the clients. This balance is great to get information across to the vast personalities that need help. The curriculum is able to be disseminated in a variety of methods for persons who learn better artistically, socially, or analytically. You get assigned in groups where those methods will work best for you. Food was better than expected and snacks were always available for your consumption. What knocks a star off the score is transparency on costs. This seems to be slightly predatory for people not having their mental faculties firing at full steam. Serious work needs to be done there. Overall it was a great experience for myself and I learned methods to keep my sobriety long term. Plan on returning for many alumni events in the future. One day at a time.

The Kennedy center is a really good place to go if you are interested in recovery and actually want to get help and participate. They’re very helpful and considerate in knowing that sometimes things happen, and sometimes you make mistakes. They help you a lot with coming up with a plan, and keeping you busy while in recovery. The Kennedy center has helped me a lot in realizing that I had a problem and want to get better. And they’re also doing their best at helping me to get better. Also have to give a shoutout to Amanda, Theresa, and Debbie and Julie. They’re super nice and my favorites. Also, Bob Ross on the TV.

Great experience! Obviously I didn’t want to be there at first and was even angry about it, but it turned out to be the best support group and nonjudgmental outlet I could have ever asked for and didn’t even know I needed! I am eternally grateful that there is such a place here on this earth. And women like Ms Nita who have devoted their life to helping others and sharing the Lord’s love and faithfulness. The feeling that you get being there is indescribable. Ms Patsy used to sing Surely The Presence of The Lord is in This Place. And surely it is. It has been several years since I attended Grace Home, but I'm here today to say they introduced God into my life in a whole new way. I have gone through many trails since graduating but the tools and relationship with our God almighty I gained from this place has given me strength and power like no other. I have since regained my life in incredible ways, by walking with christ guiding me through out the way. I rebuilt relationships with Family, Got full custody back of my son, gained a incredible Church family, joined the chior and have been involved with many groups with in my church. Since then I have lost my Mother from cancer, then this past year my Grandmother but the peace I received from grace has been with me through it all. Thank you Ms Susan and Ms Anita for guiding me daily and reminding me that God has a greater purpose for me. For motivating me and sharing your testimonies amd your love for God. I am a Child Of God, and he knows the plans he has for me. I truly love you all at grace the pastors were amazing and taught us so much. Kinda miss our daily schedules lol. If you are looking for a place to truly surrender and give it all to God, this is the place for you. I graduated December 23, 2020 and I have continued daily sober and striving to keep growing in my faith. May God continue sending ladies to his sanctuary where they can draw near to him and truly accept him to build a truly unfailing loving relationship with him. Gods promises never fail us.

My experience has been impeccable. They offer many groups and allow clients some options in choosing different group therapies in the afternoon. I was allowed to attended different 12 step meetings in the evening and encouraged to build my sober network. The support from all staff members has been expressed with genuine love and kindness. Lantana has a wonderful success rate and I believe this is do to the staff members who truly care about each individual client, providing care and compassion we need in such a difficult time. There is a strong community here. You can find friends and mentorship as you go through the program with clients who are also seeking support. Everyone’s experience is going to be different. Going through treatment can be challenging, many of us are learning a new way of life to find peace and serenity. 100% I recommend this program to those who are struggling and need some support.

Waypoint Recovery was a God-send. When I placed the first call to ask for help, the staff was so kind and spoke to me with such care and concern. The facility was beautiful and made me feel safe so that I could just concentrate on getting better. I can’t thank everyone there enough for watching over us and speaking to us like humans and not just addicts. I would definitely recommend this recovery center to others.

I left Waypoint Recovery center Dec 1 with so much knowledge about recovery especially my own. And I learned so much about other people. I learned how to love and to be loved again. The entire staff at Waypoint Recovery in Cameron are consummate professionals but it's not just that, they loved me the the moment I got there to the moment I graduated and continue to love me to this very moment. I love them back more than they could ever know. Mrs Tara C. (I'll get back to her) Invited me back to visit yesterday and it was such a blessing to see them all from this side of things too. It was an amazing moment for me. Sarah Collinsworth from waypoint helped figure out to get me there in the first place and she never gave up on me. God bless her for that. Turner the actual CEO is there almost every day even some weekends. He has an open door policy for residents all the time and has free candy. That's unheard of I think and it starts with people like him and his staff being there for us. The BHAS JENNIFER FAITH JAMAL DEVON AALIYAH OLYMPIA ELIZABETH ALLISON ASHLEY SHAMIKA MYKAYLA and im missing some but these folks are there to help and are always smiling doing it. Scott the aftercare coordinator is phenomenal with so much wisdom, I had just had to listen to him. My counselor Shawna. She is amazing and I will love her for our conversations and the conversations she's had with my family. And there's Mrs Tara. The sweetest most humble person I know. The most loving person to everyone there without batting an eye I honestly don't know when she loves herself but really that's how she loves herself. She's so amazing and just want me to work for myself and never give on my recovery and never give up on life or other people or most of all God. I will forever be in debt to Waypoint recovery because people like Mrs Tara and those just like her saved me from the old Brandon and helped me shine light on the real me inside that needed to come out. Our loved one had to go into this facility.. Everyone at the facility was loving and kind. Understanding of the situation and how hard it was for not only our loved one but ourselves as well. They worked diligently with our loved one and the next step facility upon leaving there. They went above and beyond to make sure that our loved one made a good choice to support his success. I highly recommend palmetto low country behavioral health. Unit 2 Staff was helpful and attentive. Tammy, the representative who worked with our loved one went above and beyond. She helped him to see that he couldn't just continue the way he was that he needed the next step and helped him to understand and feel comfortable in making that choice. She gets 10 stars!

Beautiful ❤️ Beautiful ❤️ 10 day stay April 25, 2026 to May 5, 2026 😊. Lord knows I needed to rest for a few days 🫂. The Hot Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) were amazing. I didn't have to cook 👩🏾‍🍳 not once 😊. Everyone was amazing 🤝🏾💜. I appreciate the help I needed to mentally get back on track.

Best place I’ve been to. Nurses are chill. I loved Mr.Glenn and Mrs.Jennifer. They are the most understanding, chillest people i’ve ever interacted with . I made some mistakes while here and they won’t yell at you or make you feel bad, they were really understanding. Food is amazing! You go outside, are allowed to play xbox (they have provided), watch tv and they have good groups. You also have plenty of time to do school work. People fail to realize other people can only help you so much and you have to help yourself as well. You can’t rely on others to solve all your problems which I feel is why people give bad reviews. I do wish we were allowed to bring more clothing choices but no biggie!

I have been seeing both for awhile now, I honestly didn't think Acupuncture would be as amazing as it is, Dr. Friedman is awesome! I had an appointment for a blood draw today. Great check in procedures and Covid19 screening. Very pleasant and young lady who checked me in. As I waited in the waiting room, I sat at a social distance of 6-feet from the front entrance check in. I had no other places to sit because of the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. I saw each patient coming in and I couldn’t avoid hearing there names and last #4 of their Social Security Numbers. (Not good privacy), but what astonished me was the amount of Veterans who came in that didn’t even have an appointment just to stop in and drop things off for their PCM’s, or had questions, or wanted to talk about their health...hello, we are in a Covid19 and I couldn’t understand why there isn’t “common sense” being used, or not understanding that you just can’t drop in. I’ve ALWAYS have had great service at this VA-Trident clinic from the laboratory and they’ve always have been in time. When I did get called back, I was asked how I was doing, and I replied not well today! Ms Luz, responded, “that’s good”! I said, why did you just say that after I said I wasn’t doing good? Ms Luz (name badge said her name and that she’s from PERU , and she said that’s it’s just natural to say that. Well, I don’t think that this is a natural reply, and if you really ask someone how they are doing, listen to that persons response, and respond with sincerity. That’s why I gave a 4-star rating today.I

I have been on Suboxone for 7 years. I have stayed clean since I started. I have been going to Barrier Island for the past 2 years and they are the first place that has treated me like a person and not a junkie. I traveled to MUSC for the first time today for business purposes. I was lost and had six heavy bags with me. The Nurse Manager, Claudia, from Unit 3 North of the Institute of Psychiatry approached me to offer help and spent approximately two hours assisting me. She certainly has numerous responsibilities, so I am especially grateful that she took the time. I am impressed with her efforts to exceed the highest standards of care and service. MUSC is fortunate to have such an outstanding leader. I would appreciate it if Claudia could be recognized for her endless compassion and dedication.

I am greatful for the staff and consider myself lucky to live in proximity to MUSC. I honestly expected cafeteria grade food from high school school. but the jerk chicken, roast, bbq (pulled pork) meals were sincerely good, not just "as good as you would expect". I am thankful as well to some of the other patients. For a lot of people there it is some of the worst days of their lives. The atmosphere is very focused on healing, and they provide the tools. If you want to put in the work you will find not only the staff, but other patients as well, are there to help you. The atmosphere is understandably stressful circumstances given, but the staff make every effort to accommodate and offer comfort.

I have been admitted a few times involuntary but I was suicidal and it was a very bad time dealing with my past they always treated me with respect I was so scared they brought me in handcuffed they got me on meds and made sure there was a plan when I got out
