Best place I’ve been to. Nurses are chill. I loved Mr.Glenn and Mrs.Jennifer. They are the most understanding, chillest people i’ve ever interacted with . I made some mistakes while here and they won’t yell at you or make you feel bad, they were really understanding. Food is amazing! You go outside, are allowed to play xbox (they have provided), watch tv and they have good groups. You also have plenty of time to do school work. People fail to realize other people can only help you so much and you have to help yourself as well. You can’t rely on others to solve all your problems which I feel is why people give bad reviews. I do wish we were allowed to bring more clothing choices but no biggie!

This place has assisted me in turning my life around. The people that work in this place, engage you ..challenge you to become a better YOU. Their programs are true. When taken seriously can rehabilitate your addiction mindset...I've been there twice. The first time...i didnt take it seriously checked the boxes..minimum participation....slid my way through. My life fell apart and ended up there again . ..court orders aside...an open door.. IS AN OPEN DOOR! I took it seriously and it helped me find peace and a sense of who I was amidst everything I had done and tools to become better. To those two individuals whom have had to deal with me when i attended their program...I thank you immensely.

LRADAC’s Outpatient Program was absolutely amazing and truly helped me change my life. From the beginning, Brooke, who placed me in the class that was the perfect fit, showed genuine care and understanding that set the tone for everything that followed.
My counselor, Arianna, was beyond incredible. Everyone in my class would agree she was made for this work. She poured her heart into helping us and genuinely loved what she did. She had recently gotten married and was starting a new chapter in her life....Then, in a moment that shattered us all, we walked into class one day and were told the devastating news: Arianna had been murdered by her husband, who then took his own life.
The pain was unimaginable. Continuing the program without her felt impossible—but we knew Arianna would have wanted us to push forward. And with the strength of our group, and the incredible support from the staff, we did just that.
A special thank you to Casey, our life coach, whose dedication and encouragement helped carry us through such a dark time.
This program works. The people at LRADAC care deeply, and I will never forget what they did for me—or the amazing spirit of Arianna. If you’re considering getting help, give this place a chance. It might just save your life.

I'm a patient at Newday counseling, and I called there seeking professional help. There, I've found people that they were willing to help me get started with my process. Professionalism is what I found, people who knew about my addiction and are willing to educate me. There, I've found a lot more than what I expected, there is a 24 hour hot line, with a the other end willing to talk with me about issues that I was having problems with, and help me understand my addiction. I go to this place four times a week, under three different counselors. That communicate well with each other to help me Even when I don't feel like listening to the professional side of addiction, I still leave there what's something. When NewDay counselors encounter a person that wants to do something with their life they dig in just as deep as I did. For that I am truly grateful.........

Many people I know have mentioned how the services New Seasons has provided has improved their lives exponentially. They genuinely care and have a lot to handle and they handle it very professionally. MAT can be utilized for great things. It can bring someone to a stable point in their lives, so that they can start their recovery process without having to be in a problematic state with use.
Often times, when folks who’ve had issues with substance use/misuse they are not able to hold down a job, their use affects other area’s of their lives, myself being a recovery coach, a peer support specialist I’ve seen so many people have a new leash on life once they’ve got the chance to utilize the services that New Seasons provides. They make sure that you take accountability, being that you are responsible for getting there to get whatever medication the individual chooses. The nurses, and counselors, along with the director are extremely compassionate and supportive of individuals who may need a little more support than others.

Columbia Metro New Seasons has helped me in so many ways that the other 2 local treatment centers couldn't. The Dr explained why other treatment wasn't working for me and got me where I need to successfully complete treatment. Metro uses an app on your phone where you can pay/check in. I don't have to wait in a line and give personal information in front of others in treatment. Metro made me comfortable by giving me privacy to personal information. None of the other centers care about privacy. I even get my treatment behind a closed door. The staff Counselors/Nurses/Pharmacist/Director go above and beyond. I highly recommend Metro to anyone who is ready for treatment. Metro New Seasons is a professional center.

The staff is great! They make me feel very comfortable and safe. I haven't been there in years so I noticed they have a security guard there, which is good for their safety. I was asked if I needed a PC Dr and I did, I now have one. It took about a month but I finally got my first actual well care check in about 8 years. Super happy about that. They listen and help when I have concerns about my medication, they fix the dosage when I have concerns, they truly are life savers. Not so easy in healthcare today, but from my family’s recent experience I’d say all three were far above our expectation while at Prisma Richland Hospital.
My 33 yr old none verbal, non ambulatory daughter was transported last week to 10 West. During her 5 days there we experienced an incredible staff that took extreme pride in their patient care, presented themselves with positive attitudes and behavior that was refreshingly compassionate. Too many exceptional professionals to mention, but I truly mean ALL staff members: charge nurses, techs, dietitians, doctors and neurology team, lab techs and others. The nurses and doctors are great; I’ve been all throughout this hospital at this point. Especially the pediatric emergency room, who I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of getting familiar with due to my kid’s chronic condition. Those ER doctors are top notch and I’m extremely thankful for all that they do. They (and the nurses) do a great job of keeping the atmosphere positive.
There are some downsides. The parking situation is atrocious. If I had to go to the main building or the children’s hospital next door, it’s sometimes a quarter-mile walk from the car, if not more. ER parking is also very limited.
The admissions process in the main building (5 Medical Pk) is odd. It’s very cramped and they seem primarily like a debt collection service, with actual assistance being secondary. Like they’re gatekeeping medical services until they’re satisfied that your balance is paid. Very “corporate America healthcare”, if you will. E.g., you go through this whole process of sitting down, meeting some admin person in an extremely cramped room who goes through this whole script, just for them to say “oh, you don’t owe anything! Take the elevator to the second floor”. They always seem to have contemptuous attitudes (I suppose I would too in that role, though). Regardless, I’ve never seen this in any other hospital. It’s strange and makes me question the hospital’s priorities.
They also seem very understaffed for doctors and nurses in some areas, while other offices are fully staffed. I totally get it, but it’s worth mentioning. Plenty of admin staff tho!
The security guards can be… less than professional. I’ll set off the metal detector at the ER and they don’t even get off their cell phone, but just wave me through 🤷♂️. Don’t try to use the “wrong door” though. Only time I’ve seen them do anything security-wise is straight up screaming at people if they try. Must moonlight as TSA agents, lol.
Negatives aside, the doctors and nurses are fantastic. Admin side is hit or miss.

Been attending 3 plus years at this facility have seen several directors and I thought this last one was going to be a good one until today one of the coldest days we had to go up there ever the lady chose to break her own rules and then she went on to lie and to get the nurse to lie with her except the nurse told us she wasn't going to tell us no lie that the lady allowed people to jump line and when we asked why we weren't being served she said oh you had a hold we didn't see or it was a computer glitch that was a lie she chose to send take homes for the two line jumpers from the nurse and she also told her to put them in front of other people who had been there waiting for 2 plus hours since 4:15 in the cold but the biggest issue here is I'm in recovery and I'm trying to do things right and I had a lot of respect for this woman because I thought she cared the last thing I would have ever thought is that she would lie blatantly to us could have told us the truth these things happening in the leader would you like and then try have one of your co-workers and get them to lie you can check this by the time of the day which is Friday January 23rd 2025 it happened around 5:45 a.m. there was only one nurse working and there were several of us that had been there since 4:00 a.m. in the morning patiently waiting and doing things the correct way but she chose to tell us a lie and I for one would never share anything else with her because I don't trust her anymore so she's really messed up my whole thinking about the clinic now I'm sure I'm not the only one that's going to file the grievance today but the nurse that was working she said if I were you guys it's never going to change until you take the procedures to make it change I would like to be contacted to know what's going on with this please thank you and have a nice day

North Augusta, South Carolina | Aiken – Barnwell Mental Health Center – Hartzog Center located in North Augusta, South Carolina, is part of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Community Health Centers system providing services to the surrounding area. The Center provides a full range of services to children, adolescents and adults through senior years. I've found every person working there to be thoughtful, attentive, understanding, and wholly involved and committed to the successful recovery and/or development of their patients to be able to live a more self-sufficient and self-satisfying life, as free from the horrors and pain of mental illnesses.
In order to get the very best care along with the very best results and treatment, it's important to become your own best advocate. You must speak up and out and let people know what kind of issues you're dealing with, and what kind of path you'd like to take through the journey to healing and recovery.
The staff at the Hartzog Center have always encouraged me to be the primary person in charge of my care and treatment. They've always listened to my needs, been incredibly supportive of everything I am trying to achieve, and have always been terribly easy to talk to, and to get help from when designing my own personal treatment plan.
If you want good care, you've got to be a great patient. Nobody can read your mind. The staff at the Hartzog Center in North Augusta definitely care, and always support and encourage every patient to be involved and be proactive with the choices they make towards furthering their treatment goals.
