A neurologist named Kristen, a nurse named I think Adriene, and a technician whose name I can’t recall at the moment, were especially helpful in expediting matters so that all testing and care would be completed so that I could be released in a timely manner. That manner being so that I could be home before a major storm occurred. For that I am truly thankful to those three ladies that were working on 01/24/2026, in particular and to Aiken Regional Hospital in general.

I what to Aiken Regional Medical Center ER with chest pains and tightening in my chest I was very pleased with the service that I received from the Regista until the end of my Service. The staff that was working on 02/05/2026 after 3:00 pm was "Johnny on the spot". Very knowledgeable and worked together as a team to take care of my heart condition, that could have easily when into cardiac arrest. Again I say "Thank you", I can't remember all their names, but Tanisha was one of the nurses and the ER doctor was Meikle, maybe misspelled, but that entire team was my hero in comforting my daughter and taking of me. ❤️🙏🏽

When I first walked through the doors of Aurora asking for help with alcohol detox, I was in a truly critical place. Given the severity of my situation, I probably should have been in the ICU. But Dr. Salas knew exactly what to do, and her incredible expertise and care kept me safe and stable enough to stay at Aurora.The entire team was wonderful, treated me with real kindness, and even helped me find a rehab program to go to immediately after I left. While there was one nurse whose behavior wasn’t the best, it didn't change how grateful I am for the overall care. (And as a small bonus, the food is amazing—you’d never think you were eating medical facility food)Today, I am 9 months and 15 days sober, and I truly have my life back. I think about my time at Aurora often, and I regularly recommend it to other alcoholics in AA who are ready to get sober.To Dr. Salas, if you are reading this: I owe you my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you did for me. You are someone I have continued to think about and appreciate throughout these last 9 months, and I will never forget your life-saving care. The staff here were absolutely amazing. They truly cared about my needs and made me feel important. I do feel like it would have been beneficial to have more one on one time with a therapist or social worker while there, but I know resources are limited. As well as please stop slamming that door ALL night in Unit Two. 😅 Two people that stood out to me were one of my nurses Christy and my social worker Jerry they were both extremely attentive and caring, my social worker took the time out of her busy schedule to make sure I felt cared about and understood. Overall this place made a very positive impact in my life, thank you!

Excellent immediate care for my 19 yr old daughter who was having a severe mental crisis. The associate took us to a room and listened to our concerns then had a team meeting to formulate a plan of action. Today, one week later, we had a meeting with the intake psychologist and a treatment plan was devised. The fantastic front desk person coordinated the various appointments and furnished appointment reminder cards for each one. Mr.Peele the intake psychologist was superb as well!

My brother chose to go to this rehab after finishing detox at another facility. With the help of Christian, we were able to make that happen. Other than some initial insurance issues (due to us residing in NC), which Christian helped us navigate, it was smooth sailing and they even came up here to pick him up! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful, and remained in contact with me throughout his entire 90 day program. I've seen such a change in my brother. And he has been so happy with his new life and network there, that after his commencement, he has decided to stay there for their "alumni program" and remain staying at their sober living facility which provides him the freedom to travel, have his cell phone and get a job, all while having the safety net of his network and groups. My experience has been impeccable. They offer many groups and allow clients some options in choosing different group therapies in the afternoon. I was allowed to attended different 12 step meetings in the evening and encouraged to build my sober network. The support from all staff members has been expressed with genuine love and kindness. Lantana has a wonderful success rate and I believe this is do to the staff members who truly care about each individual client, providing care and compassion we need in such a difficult time. There is a strong community here. You can find friends and mentorship as you go through the program with clients who are also seeking support. Everyone’s experience is going to be different. Going through treatment can be challenging, many of us are learning a new way of life to find peace and serenity. 100% I recommend this program to those who are struggling and need some support.

I went to this safe haven back in 2016 and they helped save my life. Today is 2024. I have stayed clean since. This place is truly a blessing. I was at the old facility and my PC family was amazing. I met so many people wonderful souls and have amazing memories with them. Thanks to Kelvin Durant for putting a fire under me and challenging me to stay clean. It worked. Just for today I’m still here and lived to tell the tale. I recommend it to anyone.

Best decision I ever made was to come here, July 25th, 2010. I'll b 14yrs sober in july!! I have never regretted that decision to get clean. Thank uuu all for yallz help, support, and looove!! If anyone's still there from waaay bk when, I'm the one who made all the kandi for everyone there and ppl were calling me "the butterfly lady". I'm constantly telling ppl about this facility. There's only 4 of us, myself included that has been sober since they left there. Unfortunately alot of ppl went bk out in their addictions and are no longer alive and some are bk in prison. But, that's the price u pay when u don't take the program seriously or u don't really wanna get clean!! I'm sooo thankful I wanted this for myself and the Lord Jesus Christ has kept me sober since!! If you are truly ready to get sober, this is where you go. Getting started here was completely effortless: I just walked through the door, introduced myself, completed my intake to see if I was a good fit, and started treatment the very next day. Having experienced recovery as both a client and a staff member at other facilities, I can confidently say the recovery inside these walls is on another level. The staff don’t just work here—they are living proof that real, incredible recovery is possible. They openly share their own stories, bringing a level of honesty and lived experience that creates immediate trust. As addicts and alcoholics, we need to see that real transformation before we open up, and these people have what you want. That sense of community extends way beyond the program. Every Friday, staff and alumni from years past gather for a group dinner and head to a speaker meeting together, so no one ever has to walk in alone. They even offer support classes for loved ones, led by someone who understands the family side of addiction firsthand. The staff care with every fiber of their being, and they show you exactly how to build a life worth staying sober for. Easily 10/10.

I was treated like a person and not a case file — met with patience and genuine kindness at a point when I didn't have much of either for myself. Nancy & Michelle, their nurses, have a way of making you feel cared for before you've said much of anything. Nancy also does a fantastic job with their family program. Scott and Lyndsey were the counselors who wouldn't let me get away with the easy version of my story, and I'm grateful for it. Blake's work as a therapist got underneath the surface stuff. And Jessica sets a tone from leadership that you can feel in every room — that culture doesn't happen by accident. The kindness isn't a substitute for substance, either. The program is built on a real recovery foundation: honest group work, individual counseling that doesn't let you hide, and a clear connection to the 12-step community outside the building. They don't just get you stable and send you off — the family piece and the aftercare meant the support kept going after the program ended. Augusta is fortunate to have them. I came to Britelife in July 2024 hopeless. I was detoxing off fentanyl and the entire staff nursed me through what felt like a near death experience. My son has been to several rehabs unfortunately, but when he arrived at Britelife something changed. The staff at Britelife genuinely seen my son and his addiction. They seen him as a person not just an addict, they recognize the individual and made sure his treatment was designed for him. Not everyone fits into a box and the staff at Britelife knows that. Unfortunately my son relapsed after 2 years of sobriety the first place he wanted to go was here because he knew this was the best place for him. He was unable to return due to Britelife not taking his insurance (which is understandable) Britelife is an amazing place with amazing staff that understands and supports the family and their residents. My son did find a rehabilitation facility that accepts his insurance. If you have the means please consider Britelife they are amazing if not please reach out to someone. You deserve to shine brite! For the most part, getting return appointments is a breeze offering multiple options. Even my first appointment there was less than a week after my insurance approved everything. I know they stay busy, but they have a lot of good treatment options by folks who specialize in specific needs. I was also shocked by the number of therapists and the ability to have tele-med visits with Zoom. I am so happy I found them because they have P.A.s in case medication is suggested to help the therapy. It’s been a very positive experience so far.

I have been under the care of several psychiatrist as well as psychologist with Lifestance for many years. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and every reason to continue. I also encourage friends and family members to seek help there if needed. I am familiar with the Grovetown office in the Gateway CPC building and the Evans office off N.Belair / or Hereford farm Road. They are safe, comfortable & professionally staffed. Thier website is easy to use and you can read the bios and credentials of each Staff member. In person or tele-health visits are most always offered. I take advantage of both.
