I could go on and on about some lack of communication and some run around but in reality the staff and counselors are constantly adapting to the revolving door and influx of new arrivals and departures. They genuinely care about your well being and your time there once out of detox is concentrated on groups and counseling to guide you to a life free of addiction! While there you get out what you put in, you enter a community of people with the same afflictions and pull together as one! Waypoint taught me the strength in connection and gave me the tools to change, Waypoint SAVED MY LIFE! I am grateful! Waypoint Recovery is amazing yet similar to a third world country. No Facebook, snap, internet, email. Let alone a phone. However I was there for help and the staff was very compassionate about what they do. They truly do want to help you if your willing to accept it and help yourself. Special thanks to Jared, lane, ginger, Tara, and Matt. For all your support. The CEO is even active in the community always looking to improve Waypoint. And knows each patient by name. Say's a lot. Thanks Turner. On top of the wonderful staff the treatment center is in Cameron S.C on the most serene and peaceful piece of land. With a lake a island and nice log cabins. If your looking for real help to get a better life Waypoint is the place to start. You can even bring your fishing poles!!!

The in-patient care pre-, during and post-surgery was exemplary. This place saved my life. They have a great director and the staff listen and care. If you have Medicaid you can dose free and even get free rides. No one out there should be suffering hell on earth withdrawals as long as this place is open. But like always, grown adults cry like little children if they mess up and have to face the consequences. Such as getting your take home meds taken away and having to go everyday. If you decided to get high and then have a dirty screen that is on YOU. In this regard it's like a daycare Center for childish adults. If you do the program as you should you can get your life back.

Angela is incredible. A true GEM. I've been doing TMS treatments with her and tomorrow is my last treatment and to be honest, it makes me sad even though I'll still see her around, just not 5 days a week anymore. She is so easy going and fun to be around. I've had some good laughs with her and her energy makes you feel comfortable from day 1 of treatment, whether it's TMS or Spravato. TMS is for major depression, but I believe she's brought the smiles to my face every time Ive seen her. I highly recommend her. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

After reading some of the reviews I am blown away. I seen one where a lady claims they make you smoke cigarettes and you will be a chain smoker when you leave. Geez it's mind blowing. I was never forced to smoke at all. This place did nothing but save my life. Ed is a wealth of knowledge, my counselor Ashley is the best ever. Other staff that stood out was Sean, Lily, Crystal and Carmen. I came in addicted to Fentanyl, went through detox then on to PHP. There ofcourse were areas that could use improvement such as food and even bigger issue was we were let to run out of drink and coffee all day long in the rec area outside cafeteria which is all you have access to for the long ass days of classes. That is something else that needs work, you are expected to attend class from 8 am to 4:30 pm 7 days a week. That is way too much and too tiring for us older patients especially us with other health issues. You cannot go to your dorm from 7:30 am till 4:30 pm either. If they can't give a day off for rest then at least 1 early day, like a Sunday get out at noon or 1. All in all I am satisfied, I coined out on November 26, 2025 and I'm still clean. It is what you make of it period.

Stopd goin quickly due 2 issues w/staff! 2nd attempt had meeting w/6 staff, told them I took 12mg strips, Dr & all said "NOsmh they DNT make those", had them GOOGLE IT🤣they said WHOAH oh?! ok! So between being called a liar & THEM NOT KNOWING what they r givin ppl clearly .. Yea .. Never went back thru their doors! ESP considering otp lady told me they have it listed as inpatient treatment for state insurance & Thts how it was possible for Medicaid to cover it. Thts why we didn't get physical scripts and HAD to go THERE on THEIR terms & conditions w/THEIR pharmacy. Always hated how THEY crushed them up bak there then gave them to u. U DNT know if u got all of URS!? But after a PHARMACIST telling me I was taking my meds wrong & THATS Y I needed such dosage, negative! This was years ago but it was so horrible... I'd never go back there again. IDC what they claimed has changed!
