Honestly, I’m giving five stars because every time I come here I have a pleasant experience with my nurse. Personally, It’s a lot better than going to Georgetown Tidelands Women’s Health because it’s easier to make appointments and someone always answers my calls. I even called today and got scheduled three hours later because of an availability which is exactly what I needed after not getting a call back from tideland in two weeks.

The AA meeting club serving the Grand Strand with at least 5 meetings a day. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, this is a great place to seek out help from those who are trying to stay sober one day at a time. I sought out this place when I move here in 2015 to replace the meeting house I attended in Indy since 2000. It's a wonderful program that saved my life and continues to improve my life on a daily basis. It's going to be sunny today!

9/10 Been going here off and on for 4 years. I’ve tried 5-6 different clinics and this one is best in class. Lost my job and couldn’t afford to pay anymore, so I was offered a 6 month all paid state grant so I could continue to receive my medication and treatment during the tough times. This place saves lives, they have for sure saved mine and will always have my gratitude.

I have always been disappointed with care received at Colleton Medical but I was in last week with my fiancée that all of a sudden became unconscious and I will say that we received the best fastest care ever!!! Within 15 minutes I knew the diagnosis he was placed on a vent with a central line and we the helicopter transport was there in another 5 minutes!! I am a current patient of 17 yrs on the methadone maintenance program at New Hanover Metro. This place is fairly good about not constantly bothering you and making you do all kinds of classes, so it's good for people who work or have busy lives. The counselors & nurses are usually very friendly but rarely stay for very long (Lauren being the exception, great person). My biggest complaint is the high cost, currently $16 per day from $13 per day, this place makes a killing off of our mistakes but I guess you pay to play. From the time I started to now cost has gone from $12-$17 per day. Overall satisfied with the clinic though.
*I had to update the 3 star to a 4, even though cost went up the service here has got better the past few months.

This place sucks, the staff is hostile and or critical. The conditions are low and the emotional support is lacking.
Id went there years ago over a misunderstanding I had that I sent to a teacher, I have never been In facility ever.
While I was there, a woman who interviewed me was critical of my explanation and criticized my explanation of not doing it on purpose to ever hurt anyone. Sure, I did it but to be that dissmissve and degrading to a kid in that state for that reason is ridiculous. Another occasion was when I was getting ice and one of the staff screamed at me for dropping some. I was on the verge of tears. The conditions don't make you feel in a environment for help or comfort. I again hadn't or have any illness or deep issue, however how the kids who were were put in those conditions was absysmol. Whoever the two were I was referring to should be ashamed of themselves deeply and never work with kids. Pathetic.

It has been several years since I attended Grace Home, but I'm here today to say they introduced God into my life in a whole new way. I have gone through many trails since graduating but the tools and relationship with our God almighty I gained from this place has given me strength and power like no other. I have since regained my life in incredible ways, by walking with christ guiding me through out the way. I rebuilt relationships with Family, Got full custody back of my son, gained a incredible Church family, joined the chior and have been involved with many groups with in my church. Since then I have lost my Mother from cancer, then this past year my Grandmother but the peace I received from grace has been with me through it all. Thank you Ms Susan and Ms Anita for guiding me daily and reminding me that God has a greater purpose for me. For motivating me and sharing your testimonies amd your love for God. I am a Child Of God, and he knows the plans he has for me. I truly love you all at grace the pastors were amazing and taught us so much. Kinda miss our daily schedules lol. Don't listen to the negative reviews about Paige. She is a fantastic practitioner. I've been seeing her since 2019 and she has always been helpful, kind, attentive and truly listened to me. I have been with Coastal Horizons for over a year and they have been great. Jessie Thomas has gone above & beyond to help me out multiple times. I had a family emergency and had to leave town on short notice and she made sure I would be taken care of while I was away. She really is great. The staff communicates very thoroughly. My treatment plan has been working very well, much better at Coastal Horizons than at other clinics I have been to in the past. Kim is very friendly and helpful and Alicia is an awesome therapist. 10/10 recommend for anybody wanting therapy or MAT.

I really like it there. The staff is great especially the nurse Jessie Thomas. She would check on me every morning about how I was feeling and how my recovery was going. She would call if I missed a day to make sure I was alright. I just felt like she really cared about how my recovery was going. For anyone who is struggling with opiate addiction I highly recommend this place.

It is fairly easy to visit or go to appointments here; the employees at the security desk are nice. You get a sticker at the desk before you head upstairs.
(I was pleased to see that Valentine cards were collected here to be distributed to the patients!)

The left side is the SOUTH building, and the right side is NORTH.
A PEDESTRIAN GREENWAY with tables, games and food trucks is in between the psych building and the parking garage.
*About 12 metered parking spots are available on President Street.
*Plan to park in one of two parking garages. One is on Bee Street. The other one, my preference, is at the end of President Street, past the Psych building and the Pedestrian Greenway. This is the MUSC JONATHAN LUCAS GARAGE. (As opposed to the Roper same name garage)
*Cars may be parked directly in front of the Psych Institute only if someone is in the vehicle, waiting to pick up a patient being discharged.
*If you park in a parking garage, take your parking slip with you and get it stamped at your appointment so that your parking fee will be either reduced or paid in full.

La verdad es que fue una experiencia algo extraña pero aún así la pase bien solamente que pienso que deberían hacer más actividades durante el día no y estar tanto tiempo en la habitación pero sobre todo en el hospital tienen la regla de no tocarse pero hubo un señor que aveces tocada alguna parte del cuerpo de uno de los pacientes(no intima pero llegó a incomodar a muchos de los pacientes),este lugar es para mejorar pero no se me hace correcto que un hombre adulto toque a uno de los pacientes cuando no es necesario,están para ayudar no para intimidar sobre todo muchas gracias Sarah por cuidar de mi eres una persona extraordinaria ❤️🩹
