I broke my clavicle and had surgery April 10,2026. I am avid golfer and was really anxious on getting back to playing. I called many physical therapy places which couldn’t get thru the red tape to get me schedule. On the same day I was calling those places I was blessed enough to call ATI and got Ryan on the phone who made an appointment for me. After expressing my concerns in 20 minutes. I have since been their working with Jason and Aaron and I’m returning to golf on June 10 almost 3 weeks earlier than expected. Due to their recovery program and seeing them 3 times a week. They are professional, caring and you don’t feel like you’re in a factory but a family type atmosphere. I highly recommend ATI to anyone who needs 1 on 1 care and compassion.

I cannot thank ATI enough for everything they have done for me. I was a patient for a year and half due to having both my knees replaced in 2025. I started my physical therapy treatment in December of 2024 at the little river location. Every member of staff that I worked with was always very pleasant, professional, a joy to work with. They were a huge sense of relief and encouragement for me. Leading up to my first surgery. After my first knee surgery I continued my treatment at the Myrtle Beach location. I was challenged and very encouraged by my treatment. I could not believe how much better of a quality of life I had after I started my treatment. Everyday I grew stronger and more secure in my abilities. I was so successful that just 10 weeks post op I was able to travel internationally. When I returned home I continued therapy leading up to my second surgery. After my second surgery I would get frustrated and discouraged with myself at times but every time I left therapy my mood would instantly lift and I would feel so much better. I was so happy that they encouraged me, pushed me, and got me better than I was before my surgeries and just 12 weeks after my second surgery I was able to travel internationally again. I never thought that my recovery could go this well and I definitely didn’t think I would be able to travel so soon after both my surgeries. I attribute all my success to the absolutely wonderful and professional staff at ATI. I would recommend that if you need physical therapy to definitely use ATI.

I want to start by saying the individual staff members I worked with were nice. Aaron, Jason, & Ryan were always kind to me. However, my overall experience with ATI Physical Therapy was a complete disappointment, and I would not recommend this location for post-op sports rehab or return-to-athletics recovery. I went to ATI for 5-6 weeks after ACL surgery and completed 10 sessions. Despite being repeatedly told I was ahead of schedule, my treatment plan did not progress in any meaningful way. I continued doing the same basic exercises I had been given on day one - which are the same exercises I did at home on a daily basis. Going into the ATI office provided nothing different, except minimal supervision to the same exercises over and over again for 10 sessions. I thought that this mundane repetitive recovery was normal and went along with it until I saw my surgeon.... At my six-week follow-up, I asked my surgeon whether it was normal that my PT exercises had not progressed. He said no. He then gave me a copy of the ACL rehab protocol that had been sent to ATI. The protocol showed that by weeks 3–5, I should have been progressing into strengthening work such as step-ups, mini squats, ball squats, leg press, hamstring curls, lateral stepovers, and similar exercises. Strengthening was not being incorporated into my sessions. The exercises that I was doing at ATI were still from the very early post-op phase (0-2 weeks). This was especially frustrating because my goal is to return to athletics. If I had not specifically questioned the lack of progression at my doctor’s appointment, I would not have known that my rehab was not following the protocol my surgeon had provided - ATI always reassured me my progression was fine. I have since decided to continue my rehab elsewhere with a sports-performance-focused provider because ATI did not feel like the right fit for an athlete trying to return to sport. The billing experience has also been a huge problem. I was told my first five PT visits would be covered at $0 patient responsibility, and that my responsibility after that would be $30. ATI still charged me $65 per visit for 8 visits, and when they corrected the last 2 two $27 said they would issue a refund at the end of treatment for the excess charges. When I followed up after ending treatment, I was instead told I still owed a balance. I am now disputing the charges. Overall, the staff may be nice, but I do not feel that my treatment appropriately progressed, I do not feel the surgeon’s rehab protocol was properly followed, and the billing issues have made the experience even worse. If your goal is basic mobility and you need adult supervision to do basic exercises, ATI may be fine. But if your goal is to return to sports or higher-level activity definitely stay away. This place screams pay us to watch you repeat the same exercises while your recovery stalls.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Jason and Aaron taught me the benefits of pushing harder and stretching farther to achieve my goals and they have the best Ice Therapy they apply after a tough session.
