When I called here, I had very little hope that I would be able to get help. One, I dont have insurance. And, two, self pay rates are insane and too much for me to afford. So I was pretty hopeless but called anyway. Im really glad I did. Everyone that has reached out has become an advocate in my name, each one truly dedicated to finding a way around the barriers so that I could get help. None of them have accepted no for an answer and has been diligent in their efforts. On top of that, they keep in touch with me and im not even a patient yet Hands down it has been an experience that has renewed my faith in people. Laura and Jason both made me feel like they cared about what was happening to me and wanted to get me help. I felt cared for and not judged. It meant a lot at a time when it was make it or break it for me.

I want to thank Wilmington treatment center for teaching me how to use the tools to get me on the path that I am meant to be on. Ed’s words are amazing, some people think he’s a hardass but this gentleman cares about everyone who walks in the door. Karmen cares about us just as much as Ed does too and is a great human being. Sean and miss juanita are two of the best counselors I have ever dealt with. Miss Fayth who was my counselor is totally awesome and is going to do am amazing job in her new role her. The food was the only drawback here as it was terrible. Lamont, who is a cook here was the shining star of the culinary team put heart into his cooking and was the best there but it’s too bad I only got taste his food two times before I transferred to Php. Overall my stay was fantastic. There were a few negative people on staff but I’m Not going to put them on blast here but I’m sure they know they are. I’m proud to be Alumni now

I am incredibly grateful for Coastal Recovery and everything they did for me. I came in feeling hopeless and unsure if recovery was even possible, but the staff never gave up on me. Frank, Barry, Stew, Ms. Wendy, and Dr. Mark went above and beyond to support me during one of the hardest times of my life. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. Because of them and the program at Coastal Recovery, I am now 10 months sober and continuing to build a life I’m proud of. I felt seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. This place saved my life. They have a great director and the staff listen and care. If you have Medicaid you can dose free and even get free rides. No one out there should be suffering hell on earth withdrawals as long as this place is open. But like always, grown adults cry like little children if they mess up and have to face the consequences. Such as getting your take home meds taken away and having to go everyday. If you decided to get high and then have a dirty screen that is on YOU. In this regard it's like a daycare Center for childish adults. If you do the program as you should you can get your life back.

I became a patient of crossroads back in 2018. At first I was problematic, not doing well but I also wasn’t doing anything that I was supposed to. Once I actually worked the program I began to excel. I was one of the few lucky ones who had the same counselor my entire time there. But thanks to her I am who I am today. And now I myself am a counselor at a methadone clinic! Methadone saves lives, and it definitely saved mine!

Yes I have been here since 2004 I have seen many changes in that time... About 3 and half years ago I transferred to Myrtle Beach treatment specialist .... I DONT RECOMMEND THAT ! I just transferred back here to Crossroads and they have changed so much for the BETTER. I'm actually 20 mgs lower then I was at Myrtle Beach treatment. IM NO LONGER SICK, AND NOT USING !!! Within a week of being back at crossroads my dose was starting to work again ... Everyday I was sick and dosing at Myrtle Beach treatment. AND I WAS AT 120.???? Here I'm at 100 and the medicine is actually WORKING... SO PLEASE BELIEVE ME , STAY AT C.O.H OR CROSSROADS... The medicine not only doesn't work at the other clinic ,but if you have blue cross you end up paying 120 a month .. Here it's only 30 a month... IM SO GLAD I GAVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE... The director is GREAT. The whole staff is great... I love my counselor here. They have updated their facility too... I give crossroads đź’Ż.

This place helped me get my CDL back, I appreciate this place 🙌 slowly getting my life back together, thank you shoreline, yeah they don’t answer the phone often, you can just go in person and get a lot more done than you can over the phone, so for anyone wanting to go here or already here and don’t get any results, I’d say just show up in person, write down every date and time they give you and don’t leave until you get answers, but as long as you do right you should be able to complete this program for sap in 2-3 weeks.

I have been a patient at Shoreline for 2.5 years and from the beginning the entire experience has been pleasant. As a part of the MAT program, they make it very easy to get on a program and stay on that path, for as long as you need/want it. With various resources available at all times and therapy available if needed or wanted makes for a great place to start your recovery journey. The only thing that I feel like needs improvement is the group therapy for the IOP groups. Everything else is absolutely đź’Ż

I recently met with Dr.Eric Keller, an Interventional Radiologist at Novant, Wilmington concerning a nerve pain related issue in my leg. I found Dr. Keller to be extremely knowledgeable, informative, personable and very genuine. He knows his area of expertise and is willing to explore all potential options in the challenging area of nerve pain relief. My husband had been feeling ill for a couple of days. I took him to the ER and expressed how he was feeling. The guy came around to him asked a few questions and we went right in. Set in the lobby about fifteen minutes and he was going into a room. The doctor came in and accessed him and admitted him. The ER was filled to capacity, actually over capacitated. The care that they gave him was over and beyond. The same night he was moved into another room in the ER. The care was also amazing. He was comfortable and they were very attentive. The next day or the day after he was moved to the PICCU unit on the 7th floor,where he received the best care ever. Thank you Mikayla,McKenzie, Casey,Katelyn and a few others that I cannot remember their names! SHOUT OUT to the amazing Dr. Joshua Watson!!! I missed you this weekend. He was attentive to all of my husband's every needs. AWESOME. I also want to thank Taylor on the 9th floor for all she did as well! Good job NHRMC keep up the good work!

Easter Seals Port Health Wilmington clinic is a comprehensive mental health clinic offering low and no cost mental health resources to patients. They offer counseling and medication treatment as well as other services. I have been a patient at Port Health and utilize zoom counseling sessions for my mental health needs. All of the staff have been professional, and I am more than happy with the results that I have seen in myself since beginning counseling at Port Health. Although I use zoom meetings, they also offer more traditional sessions in person and are more than happy to accommodate patient needs. While progress in mental health can be particularly difficult to measure quantitatively, since starting counseling at Port Health I have noticed incredible changes in my attitude, ability to cope, deal with complex emotions and situations and even when I make a mistake, I am more conscious and aware of my choices and their impact on the world and myself. Port Health has been vital at a time in my life when I was uncertain how I would get beyond the loss of my father, and immediately after losing my mother, without a major mental health breakdown. That breakdown did not occur, and I credit Port Health Wilmington for helping me see my way through one of the most challenging times in any person's life. I could not imagine my life today without the incredible staff at Port Health Wilmington. More importantly I credit them with helping me realize in real terms that my decision to abstain from medication treatments was correct, but I could not have made that decision intelligently without knowing and believing that should I have needed medication treatment that the staff at Port Health was ready to support me in any way that I would need. I have and do recommend Port Health Wilmington also known as Easter Seals Port Health Wilmington to anyone going through addiction, mental health crisis, or any other mental health related events. What an outstanding experience at Ralph's, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober!
