I held off on going back due to being unable to find a therapist that I felt like could help me or that I "clicked" with. This place is fairly good about not constantly bothering you and making you do all kinds of classes, so it's good for people who work or have busy lives. The counselors & nurses are usually very friendly but rarely stay for very long (Lauren being the exception, great person). My biggest complaint is the high cost, currently $16 per day from $13 per day, this place makes a killing off of our mistakes but I guess you pay to play. From the time I started to now cost has gone from $12-$17 per day. Overall satisfied with the clinic though. *I had to update the 3 star to a 4, even though cost went up the service here has got better the past few months. Dr. Dana Point was fantastic. He was personable, straightforward, and very open about the risks and what I should expect. I especially appreciated how thoughtful and measured he was in his approach to my post-operative recovery. I always felt well informed and confident in the care plan. I spent three days recovering in the surgical short-stay department, and the experience there was exceptional. The unit was clean, quiet, organized, and never felt chaotic. That made a real difference while recovering. The hallways were clear and easy to walk, which was important as I started getting up and moving after surgery. The nursing staff across every shift was outstanding. Everyone was kind, patient, accommodating, and responsive. They checked on me regularly without making me feel like I was constantly being interrupted, and I always felt that someone was available when I needed help. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of care, professionalism, and atmosphere throughout my surgery and recovery. I went to this facility for one year. The desk ladies were so sweet and helpful. I feel like you get what you give. My 1st counselor and I did not line up due to schedules and I got switched to Brandon. Brandon was one of the best counselors ever. I’ve had quite a few over the years but he was one of my favorites. I am a female and he was a male and I felt very comfortable with him. He was great at listening, remembering, etc. He would research and help you with anything you need. A counselor should be like that- a recovery friend helping you reach your girls. The doctor Tanisha(who isn’t there anymore) was great as well. The dosing nurse Vicki is also amazing. I will truly miss everyone here and am very grateful to them in my recovery process. My therapist, Leah offers EMDR for trauma. They have telehealth options, as well as in office if you prefer and they got me a medication management referral within a week! But in my experience, if you are there for the right reasons and you do what you are supposed to, it’s actually a good place , especially for people struggling with opiate addiction. They did not send a confirmation text like they did for ALL other appointments. This was scheduled after my wife missed one appointment. But after missing this appointment she was cut off and couldn’t get her medication. The front desk staff has been rude numerous times out of the 20ish appointments my wife has gone to. They are not professional in the slightest. They shouted at my wife “we got a problem” while my wife was leaving after an appointment, because she complained about them. Who yells at someone leaving a mental health appointment? This place is horrible. Go anywhere else if possible. Needless to say, all the negative reviews are right. If I could give zero stars I would. We went for intake and that's all we've accomplished for him, 3 months ago. No follow up, nothing, we've both reached out to his therapist numerous times with no return calls. You'd have better luck not getting hit buy a car sitting in the middle of Western Blvd at night in all dark clothes than going here. Save yourself alot more stress and hassle. S 4 years ago

Five men showed up on time, incredibly polite, respectful, and ready to work—and then proceeded to work their absolute butts off in nearly 100-degree heat. They carried all of my heavy furniture up two flights of stairs without complaining once. But what impacted me most wasn’t just the physical work they did. It was the attitude and character they brought with them. Moving is stressful under the best circumstances and doing it as a single mom while trying to get my kids and our lives settled into a new place felt overwhelming in the days leading up to this but having these guys show up and simply say, “We’ve got it,” meant more to me than they probably realize. Their kindness, work ethic, patience, and willingness to serve were such a beautiful reflection of what can happen when people are given an opportunity to rebuild their lives and choose to use that experience to help someone else. I am incredibly grateful to every one of them. They didn’t just help me move furniture—they helped make a really big, exhausting day feel a whole lot lighter. ❤️ If you’re looking for an organization to support, please consider supporting the Christian Recovery Center.
