If I could give 10 stars I would!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I started seeing Deborah S. a couple months ago , & I must say , she is the BEST therapist I've had my entire life! 🥰 She makes me feel so validated & heard ! I feel incredibly safe, and I feel I can express my feelings without the need to hide anything! Like finally someone is validating what I've been dealing with my whole life , finally I feel understood in dealing with my mental illnesses that I can't explain to anyone !! She actually gives me some hope !! Which has not been a thing with past experiences... she's always giving me new, important information that no other therapist or doctor ever explained to me!! She actually listens & understands! I'm just super grateful for her, and for A Helping Hand of Wilmington 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you a million times over!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ UPDATE!‼️‼️‼️‼️ I'm still seeing Deborah S. As my therapist , and I'm still loving her !!! She has helped me in ways that no other therapist ever has ! It's been about a year now that I've been going to "A Helping Hand " and while my condition is very complex, I'm definitely improving thanks to Deborah! All of the staff are super nice , Jim , at the front desk is awesome! He's very on top of things , and always making sure patients are comfortable & feel welcome while in the waiting room , offering us coffee , water , ect.. and he's always a pleasure to talk to ! I can't say enough good about the staff & the care that I get there!! Still recommend 10/10!! ♥️♥️

I have been seeing Khristine for about a year and a half now and she is truly the best therapist I have had! The people who work in the admin here were also wonderful when helping me get set up at this practice. I have recommended this practice to multiple friends because I feel like there is a great focus on meeting future goals while improving your coping skills.

I am a current patient of 17 yrs on the methadone maintenance program at New Hanover Metro. This place is fairly good about not constantly bothering you and making you do all kinds of classes, so it's good for people who work or have busy lives. The counselors & nurses are usually very friendly but rarely stay for very long (Lauren being the exception, great person). My biggest complaint is the high cost, currently $16 per day from $13 per day, this place makes a killing off of our mistakes but I guess you pay to play. From the time I started to now cost has gone from $12-$17 per day. Overall satisfied with the clinic though. *I had to update the 3 star to a 4, even though cost went up the service here has got better the past few months.

I have been with Coastal Horizons for over a year and they have been great. Jessie Thomas has gone above & beyond to help me out multiple times. I had a family emergency and had to leave town on short notice and she made sure I would be taken care of while I was away. She really is great. The staff communicates very thoroughly. I really like it there. The staff is great especially the nurse Jessie Thomas. She would check on me every morning about how I was feeling and how my recovery was going. She would call if I missed a day to make sure I was alright. I just felt like she really cared about how my recovery was going. For anyone who is struggling with opiate addiction I highly recommend this place.

Easter Seals Port Health Wilmington clinic is a comprehensive mental health clinic offering low and no cost mental health resources to patients. They offer counseling and medication treatment as well as other services. I have been a patient at Port Health and utilize zoom counseling sessions for my mental health needs. All of the staff have been professional, and I am more than happy with the results that I have seen in myself since beginning counseling at Port Health. Although I use zoom meetings, they also offer more traditional sessions in person and are more than happy to accommodate patient needs. While progress in mental health can be particularly difficult to measure quantitatively, since starting counseling at Port Health I have noticed incredible changes in my attitude, ability to cope, deal with complex emotions and situations and even when I make a mistake, I am more conscious and aware of my choices and their impact on the world and myself. Port Health has been vital at a time in my life when I was uncertain how I would get beyond the loss of my father, and immediately after losing my mother, without a major mental health breakdown. That breakdown did not occur, and I credit Port Health Wilmington for helping me see my way through one of the most challenging times in any person's life. I could not imagine my life today without the incredible staff at Port Health Wilmington. More importantly I credit them with helping me realize in real terms that my decision to abstain from medication treatments was correct, but I could not have made that decision intelligently without knowing and believing that should I have needed medication treatment that the staff at Port Health was ready to support me in any way that I would need. I have and do recommend Port Health Wilmington also known as Easter Seals Port Health Wilmington to anyone going through addiction, mental health crisis, or any other mental health related events. Thank you.

When I first heard of CRCI, I was immediately hopeful that we had found the place that could save my son's life. He was lost and struggling and in great need of rescue. At that time, it was a 3 month program & I was so excited when he agreed to go. After graduating, I could tell a big difference. Not everything he took away from there stuck right away. It was gradual, but eventually, over time, I could see him applying all that he had learned to make a better future for himself. Today, he has a wonderful relationship with Jesus. He is married & starting a family. We are so thankful to CRCI for being available and more importantly, afforable, for us. We have been fortunate to bare witness to the growth of this program and have seen many others, just like my son, go through CRCI and come out happy & successful. We are truly grateful.
