If I could give SIX STARS for Tony/IOP I would!! The IOP (intensive outpatient program) he runs here in WTC (Wilmington Treatment Center) outpatient is nothing short of life changing. This is the first time I’ve ever enjoyed coming to an iop. Tony makes the program not only enjoyable, but also informative. I have learned more about myself, and how to change my life, MORE in the last two months sitting in this group with Tony, than I ever have in 10 years of therapy. I can’t say enough good things about Tony and this program. On March 13th 2024 at 2pm,my life was forever changed. Had it not be for several angels that day I would not have made it to the hospital. If a WPD officer had not applied a tourniquet this story would not be told. From the EMS team that prepped me and their communication with the Novant ER to the nurses in ICU and the hospital before I was transferred to the Rehabilitation Hospital where I met some wonderful OT'S AND PT'S who prepared me for my life as an above the knee amputee. I also was so fortunate to have a PT as an outpatient that continued to help me to walk again. The Novant staff, although they will tell you they were just doing their job,and indeed they were, but when you are on the receiving end it is much more than that. I am very fortunate to still be able to see these folks frequently and to continue the relationship that started March 13th 2024.
