My husband and I both were amazed at the care he received recently at this hospital. The doctors as well as all the staff were nothing but the best. We both felt he was getting the best most personable care of any hospital we have gone to ever before. They did not make him feel like he was just a number. They were very caring and compassionate. It was important for both of us to understand what he was going through and why and they did their best to take the time to explain. Even though they had to keep repeating they didn't show their frustration. Because of the hospital I will be changing to the ECU HEALTH PRIMARY CARE near the hospital.

I would like to thank COLTON, JAMIE, HANNAN, KENT, SHERRY, TOD, and any other employees at brighter start health. They are very supportive, helpful, kind, caring, and they are amazing at what they do. I never thought I would see the day that I could say I'm clean. They gave me my second chance at life. You are always welcomed when you come in with a smile and positive vibes, kind words, and would help you with any thing he can in an amazingly timely matter (kent), the doctor has a warm motherly care about her and will help you anyway she can to figure out what is best for you ( Hannah). The group is amazing he doesn't stick to whatever he thinks no he is open and down to talk about whatever you need to help you move forward (colton). If you need any help with living situation or finding financial help or anything he is there 100% (tod). You need someone to just be there and let u let it out or give u honest feedback that she is the best one to go to she has been there at any moment when I needed her (jamie).one more I definitely can't forget she is so loving and caring she always makes u want to smile, and be around beside the candy on her desk, she keeps you on track and helps you with all and any needs (sherry)

I've been a patient on and off for over 10 yrs. Been to other clinics and this one beats them in all aspects. Where other clinics have kept me so highly dosed there was no doubt it was just a business and they didn't want you leaving, as to here, they never even hint to you leaving to upset your anxiety, they do work on your addiction and want you to be able to leave soon as you want. Council is outstanding! Only gripe I have is their dip urine test. I've came up positive for benzos more than once when I knew I was clean, it's this reason I haven't gotten take homes in many years. They have programs now that assure no one is turned away do to money. I'd definitely recommend it if you have an addiction. Don't leave your loved ones due to fentanyl!

As for the other reviews about this place - I’ve heard the front desk workers on the phone and in office with patients often. They are kind, caring, and try their best.
