When i first moved to nc stephens outreach center truly helped me. they took me in and listened to my issues and helped me get with a psychiatrist to keep my prescriptions i had in florida before i was forced to relocate. During covid i was nervous to go to the monthly reviews and unfortunately they had to cut service to me because of it. I wish i wouldn't of been so scared at that point but my wife had an auto immune disease and was terrified id bring it home to her and not know it. I'll never ever forget their genuine hospitality and willingness to get me on the right foot and aside from missing the appt that forced the dr to end treatment they did everything they possibly could for me and if i could give 6 stars i would.

The AA meeting club serving the Grand Strand with at least 5 meetings a day. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, this is a great place to seek out help from those who are trying to stay sober one day at a time. I sought out this place when I move here in 2015 to replace the meeting house I attended in Indy since 2000. It's a wonderful program that saved my life and continues to improve my life on a daily basis. It's going to be sunny today!

9/10 Been going here off and on for 4 years. I’ve tried 5-6 different clinics and this one is best in class. Lost my job and couldn’t afford to pay anymore, so I was offered a 6 month all paid state grant so I could continue to receive my medication and treatment during the tough times. Courtney (works somewhere in the building) is extremely kind. Laura Taylor and Christine Hoener absolutely saved my life. They are the best care team in my life. They are both genuinely concerned about me. They treat me like a human and I’m actually heard by them. If Christine ever leaves, I don’t know what I would do. When I first met her she saw I was in crisis without me opening my mouth. It was the first time I felt like someone believed me. She listened to me and gave me the correct diagnosis!
Laura Taylor is kind and caring. I can’t say enough good things about her. I am so fortunate to have Laura as my therapist. I see many have horrible experiences at mental health.
My only bad experience is with a lot of those front desk staff on the 4th floor. I even had to swallow air real hard not to lose my composure. I often wonder why do they bother working at a place while adding to people’s traumas. A lot of them behind that window have absolutely no compassion. The 3rd floor staff have been very kind.

I am a current patient of 17 yrs on the methadone maintenance program at New Hanover Metro. This place is fairly good about not constantly bothering you and making you do all kinds of classes, so it's good for people who work or have busy lives. The counselors & nurses are usually very friendly but rarely stay for very long (Lauren being the exception, great person). My biggest complaint is the high cost, currently $16 per day from $13 per day, this place makes a killing off of our mistakes but I guess you pay to play. From the time I started to now cost has gone from $12-$17 per day. Overall satisfied with the clinic though.
*I had to update the 3 star to a 4, even though cost went up the service here has got better the past few months.

Dont like that there is no number to the castle hayne location online. It only brings up hightsville. It used to call right to the castle hayne office to talk to your councelsors not just some main office.

It has been several years since I attended Grace Home, but I'm here today to say they introduced God into my life in a whole new way. I have gone through many trails since graduating but the tools and relationship with our God almighty I gained from this place has given me strength and power like no other. I have since regained my life in incredible ways, by walking with christ guiding me through out the way. I rebuilt relationships with Family, Got full custody back of my son, gained a incredible Church family, joined the chior and have been involved with many groups with in my church. Since then I have lost my Mother from cancer, then this past year my Grandmother but the peace I received from grace has been with me through it all. Thank you Ms Susan and Ms Anita for guiding me daily and reminding me that God has a greater purpose for me. For motivating me and sharing your testimonies amd your love for God. I am a Child Of God, and he knows the plans he has for me. I truly love you all at grace the pastors were amazing and taught us so much. Kinda miss our daily schedules lol. If you are looking for a place to truly surrender and give it all to God, this is the place for you. I graduated December 23, 2020 and I have continued daily sober and striving to keep growing in my faith. Don't listen to the negative reviews about Paige. She is a fantastic practitioner. I've been seeing her since 2019 and she has always been helpful, kind, attentive and truly listened to me. She is not rude by any means. She listens to all my symptoms, side effect issues and any problems im having with meds. I like Paige and enjoy having her as my med provider.

There needs to be more available establishments like Delta; PHP, IOP, counseling, trauma therapy, and prescribers who all work together with/ for you. They work as a team opening the door for more knowledge to assist and guide you.
