That was exactly what I needed, they taught me the basic stuff and also the most complex one and now here I am completely recovered. 7 years ago I got my wife (and life) back! I love her more than anything, but I’d be lying if I said she made it easy. She would have left if the staff hadn’t encouraged her to stick it out. Professionalism is what I found, people who knew about my addiction and are willing to educate me. There, I've found a lot more than what I expected, there is a 24 hour hot line, with a the other end willing to talk with me about issues that I was having problems with, and help me understand my addiction. I go to this place four times a week, under three different counselors. That communicate well with each other to help me Even when I don't feel like listening to the professional side of addiction, I still leave there what's something. Yesterday the volunteer went out of the way to make sure I had a vegan meal to eat. Went at 8 PM hard a great speaker plus I gained another wisdom on the physiology of homelessness it requires patience which the staff and volunteers try to put into practice Friday “Brothers, I want to thank Old Savannah for letting us come here and have a shower. That’s a blessing, and I am grateful. I understand the struggle with addiction—I choose yoga and breathing, but I know how it feels to need something to hold onto. When slippers and things go missing from here, it’s not just the Salvation Army we’re taking from—it’s ourselves. This is the only place many of us have to shower, and if we lose it, we all lose.
