What Magnolia did for me was showing me the path step by step to recovery. That was exactly what I needed, they taught me the basic stuff and also the most complex one and now here I am completely recovered.

I got my wife (and life) back! I love her more than anything, but I’d be lying if I said she made it easy. She would have left if the staff hadn’t encouraged her to stick it out. They made her the priority when they could have easily cast her aside and given up on her. A lot of people did, but they didn’t!

After reading the reviews I was worried,after my 13 yr old daughter went in and I visited her * was more at ease. We didn't get to choose where she was going. The reviews are very misleading. The staff was very supportive of both she and myself. Anytime I called I was given an update by her nurse and made more at ease. The doctor was thorough in his paperwork for her follow up as well. The space is helpful, the staff supportive, and it’s a blessing to have this resource available. Thank you. Yesterday the volunteer went out of the way to make sure I had a vegan meal to eat. Went at 8 PM hard a great speaker plus I gained another wisdom on the physiology of homelessness it requires patience which the staff and volunteers try to put into practice Friday **“Brothers, I want to thank Old Savannah for letting us come here and have a shower. That’s a blessing, and I am grateful. I understand the struggle with addiction—I choose yoga and breathing, but I know how it feels to need something to hold onto. When slippers and things go missing from here, it’s not just the Salvation Army we’re taking from—it’s ourselves. This is the only place many of us have to shower, and if we lose it, we all lose. I pray that whoever has taken finds it in their heart to bring them back. Let’s protect this place together, so it stays here for us. Peace.”**

I used to dread going to my old therapist office. It was always awkward and I felt like I was being judged when I would talk about my problems. Not a fun time. Now that I'm seeing Mara at Behavioral Wellness I actually look forward to my sessions. The office is so warm and welcoming. Mara is always kind, greeting me with a smile and seeing me off before I leave. She's very insightful and easy to talk to about whats happening in life. Her experience in treatment with a wide rage of age groups makes her the perfect therapist for families, couples, and individuals alike. She never judges and often will relate by using her own experiences in life to give insights on techniques that have helped her and others. I especially love that Mara is flexible. She's understanding when we have to reschedule and will check in if we have to postpone a session. I cannot say enough about how much I love going to my sessions with Mara at Behavioral Wellness. I personally don't have a substance abuse or achol addiction and have been court ordered to attend the center. There's a lot of things I DON'T like about the center. Let's just say I like the ANIMALS but I DON'T like the CIRCUS!! However, since I've been there, Renee the intake Administrative coordinator, is one of the sweetest and most caring people I have met thus far at the center alongside Loretta Evans the UA collection personnel. My personal experience with counselors Ashley K., Christy L., Carrie and Ms.Quarterman has had it challenge. I can truly say that they are not there for just a pay check.

This place really did help me. I felt the need to write a review after seeing some of the others because Im thinking some of the staff has changed since they were written. (or management or something?) I was here in 2019 and heres my view on it.Almost everyone here really helped me recover and learn how to cope better than ever before. The daily activities ranged from learning classes to understand what we re going through better all the way to recreation/art classes to stay entertained and get our endorphins and creativity going. The classes allow you to spend the daytime engaged and learning, then you can use your free time at night to reflect on it and apply it to your own life. All of the group leaders were absolutely amazing. Honestly, I hated them on day one (no ones happy on day one..) but the second I decided to actually submerge myself in the therapy and really try- it worked. and I immediately understood how amazing and helpful these people are. They even made sure I was set up for success before I left with appointments in place to maintain a good mental health care regimen. I still use the tips and tools i learned in there on a day to day basis. I am so thankful for this place and the workers who helped save my life.A small few amount of nurses did seem to be there just for the job and were quite insensitive, but if there were nurses on one night that you may not be a fan of, youll have a complete different set the next day most likely.I think this place is amazing and if you really allow yourself to participate and try to better yourself here, you ll succeed.

Omg!! If I could give this place a 10 star rating I would, frfr tho! This facility has been such a blessing to me and I'm so grateful for all the people who work here. I've been to a few other places thru out the years and this center by far has shown how much they really care about their clients. ALL THE STAFF go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are taking care of. I prayed to God to place me in the best program for me and he did just that. I wanted to recognize the staff that really went above and beyond for us but honestly that'll every single 1 of them!! I've got 9 months clean off opiates in a few days and it's amazing to think about and to live. So if you or a loved one needs the help I would most definitely recommend Samba Recovery hands down. Life is so much better than a year ago!! We do recover!! 💜🌻🌅🌈🏖️💜

I have never been to a rehab facility that truly loves and supports their members in the way I have found at Samba Recovery Savannah! The therapists are awesome and the house manager Anna is someone I will call my friend always. The people are helpful and supportive as I am working on my sobriety. Great staff and fellowship. Also the Crystal Meth Anonymous meeting is my favorite! Thank you Micheal Hays for the referral!
