I highly recommend BrightLife of Hilton Head, SC. Staff was supportive, house manager Lisa looks out for us! Nursing and tech support were always resourceful and pleasant. The women’s house was comfortable and safe. Many extra outings were made. Therapists were highly trained and knowledgable.

What Magnolia did for me was showing me the path step by step to recovery. That was exactly what I needed, they taught me the basic stuff and also the most complex one and now here I am completely recovered.

I got my wife (and life) back! I love her more than anything, but I’d be lying if I said she made it easy. She would have left if the staff hadn’t encouraged her to stick it out. They made her the priority when they could have easily cast her aside and given up on her. A lot of people did, but they didn’t!

In my experience with VA's clinics from NY to FL the waits times are typically terrible. At this location it is not the case. I am usually in and out fairly quickly and the staff is always polite and answers any question asked. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

This place really did help me. I felt the need to write a review after seeing some of the others because Im thinking some of the staff has changed since they were written. (or management or something?) I was here in 2019 and heres my view on it.Almost everyone here really helped me recover and learn how to cope better than ever before. The daily activities ranged from learning classes to understand what we re going through better all the way to recreation/art classes to stay entertained and get our endorphins and creativity going. The classes allow you to spend the daytime engaged and learning, then you can use your free time at night to reflect on it and apply it to your own life. All of the group leaders were absolutely amazing. Honestly, I hated them on day one (no ones happy on day one..) but the second I decided to actually submerge myself in the therapy and really try- it worked. and I immediately understood how amazing and helpful these people are. They even made sure I was set up for success before I left with appointments in place to maintain a good mental health care regimen. I still use the tips and tools i learned in there on a day to day basis. I am so thankful for this place and the workers who helped save my life.A small few amount of nurses did seem to be there just for the job and were quite insensitive, but if there were nurses on one night that you may not be a fan of, youll have a complete different set the next day most likely.I think this place is amazing and if you really allow yourself to participate and try to better yourself here, you ll succeed.

I recently started receiving primary care at the Savannah VA Outpatient Clinic after having previously utilized the BNH location in Beaufort.
So far, in my experience the level of care has been superlative. The facility itself is clean and modern. The staff have all been top notch. The doctors, nurses, lab techs, and support personnel have all been courteous and competent. They genuinely and sincerely seem to care about their patients.
When's the last time a doctor called you personally at 1730 on a Friday afternoon to give you a non-emergent update on lab results? For me it was yesterday. That level of personal care is what I would expect from an elite private practice, not a government run clinic. I did not see that coming. Five stars all day long. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people.
Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Carter and her wonderful assistants, Shannon and Regina, who made my husband’s very first VA visit outstanding. After his two years of service in Vietnam, we’d avoided the VA because of horror stories—but today changed everything.
The building was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left feeling grateful and impressed. I’d give them a 10/10 if I could—and that’s saying a lot, because I don’t hand out glowing reviews easily.

I have always been disappointed with care received at Colleton Medical but I was in last week with my fiancée that all of a sudden became unconscious and I will say that we received the best fastest care ever!!! Within 15 minutes I knew the diagnosis he was placed on a vent with a central line and we the helicopter transport was there in another 5 minutes!! 9/10 Been going here off and on for 4 years. I’ve tried 5-6 different clinics and this one is best in class. Lost my job and couldn’t afford to pay anymore, so I was offered a 6 month all paid state grant so I could continue to receive my medication and treatment during the tough times. It has been several years since I attended Grace Home, but I'm here today to say they introduced God into my life in a whole new way. I have gone through many trails since graduating but the tools and relationship with our God almighty I gained from this place has given me strength and power like no other. I have since regained my life in incredible ways, by walking with christ guiding me through out the way. I rebuilt relationships with Family, Got full custody back of my son, gained a incredible Church family, joined the chior and have been involved with many groups with in my church. Since then I have lost my Mother from cancer, then this past year my Grandmother but the peace I received from grace has been with me through it all. Thank you Ms Susan and Ms Anita for guiding me daily and reminding me that God has a greater purpose for me. For motivating me and sharing your testimonies amd your love for God. I am a Child Of God, and he knows the plans he has for me. I truly love you all at grace the pastors were amazing and taught us so much. Kinda miss our daily schedules lol. The staff here truly care. I can never thank Jennifer, the staff, Alex Allen, Dillon’s mentors and friends at Charleston Recovery Center and God enough for saving my son’s life. For 12+ years, and thousands of hours of me spending day after day, and night after night staying awake to watch him, making sure he was breathing, I’d accepted the fact that it was likely we would celebrate his life at his funeral, and now we get to celebrate his life, his future and his sobriety in just 6 more days. I’ve always known Dillon has a servant’s heart, and it filled mine on my last visit hearing other residents speak about how much Dillon has and continues to help them on their recovery journey. I have been admitted a few times involuntary but I was suicidal and it was a very bad time dealing with my past they always treated me with respect I was so scared they brought me in handcuffed they got me on meds and made sure there was a plan when I got out

It is fairly easy to visit or go to appointments here; the employees at the security desk are nice. You get a sticker at the desk before you head upstairs.
(I was pleased to see that Valentine cards were collected here to be distributed to the patients!)
Snack & drink machines are available in the lobby area.

The left side is the SOUTH building, and the right side is NORTH.
A PEDESTRIAN GREENWAY with tables, games and food trucks is in between the psych building and the parking garage.
*About 12 metered parking spots are available on President Street.
*Plan to park in one of two parking garages. One is on Bee Street. The other one, my preference, is at the end of President Street, past the Psych building and the Pedestrian Greenway. This is the MUSC JONATHAN LUCAS GARAGE. (As opposed to the Roper same name garage)
*Cars may be parked directly in front of the Psych Institute only if someone is in the vehicle, waiting to pick up a patient being discharged.
*If you park in a parking garage, take your parking slip with you and get it stamped at your appointment so that your parking fee will be either reduced or paid in full.

La verdad es que fue una experiencia algo extraña pero aún así la pase bien solamente que pienso que deberían hacer más actividades durante el día no y estar tanto tiempo en la habitación pero sobre todo en el hospital tienen la regla de no tocarse pero hubo un señor que aveces tocada alguna parte del cuerpo de uno de los pacientes(no intima pero llegó a incomodar a muchos de los pacientes),este lugar es para mejorar pero no se me hace correcto que un hombre adulto toque a uno de los pacientes cuando no es necesario,están para ayudar no para intimidar sobre todo muchas gracias Sarah por cuidar de mi eres una persona extraordinaria ❤️🩹

Great and they care. Took my child here and they have a great prevention team that goes to events. They also do parent meeting to help them out. Helped my child complete classes and taught him a lot about not smoking of vaping.
