This center gave me the space I desperately needed. I felt totally seen and respected for who I am, both in my identity and my experience with addiction. The therapy was trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming, which made all the difference for me. Creative expression was a huge part of my healing, and I’m so grateful for that. The only downside was some of the facilities felt a little outdated, but overall, I left feeling whole and empowered. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive, inclusive environment.

Doctor Ajayi is literally the best out there 👌 not only is She a good doctor shes a genuine soul, who truly cares and understands the specific needs of her patients 🥰 yesterday was a hard day for me dealing with stuff in my personal life. I didnt expect to have a panic attack at the place i go to get help for the panic attacks. lol, I ran away from my appointment bc I don't like to cry or draw attention to myself in public 😭 She reached out to me personally to make sure I was OK. Cynthia Clark is really helpful therapist---Breanna and Emmanuel good for med management/Psychiatry. I have been a patient for 15 years and they have helped me to see that I am not my diagnosis, but I do have a diagnosis. My dad and I didn't want to believe that I was severely mentally ill at first, but the more I accepted my illness as reality and my new normal, the more that the Drs and counselors are able to help me live a better quality life and still function as normally as possible. I see my diagnosis as a blessing in that it helps me to learn more about myself and in the process, help other people going through the same thing. Sometimes healing is a process and does not happen instantly, but I am able to cope better with all of the tools and support that I am receiving from family, friends and medical staff. Ive been with gateway close to two years now, and never once did I feel unwelcomed or unappreciated. Even when I switched my primary counselor, it never felt the same as the amazing women in gateway. The receptionist are always so sweet and will work with you to help sort iut appointments quick and easy. The counselors have my heart as well, they listen and understand me in ways I didn't think was possible. I wouldn't want to go to any other counseling office after gateway.

I went for an interview with them and the staff was amazing including the manager interviewing me. I've only been once but will soon be going back. The wait was a tad long but other than that all the staff treated me with a smile on there face. I've never found a doctor that I wanted to talk bout my issues with but the doctor there really listen to me and didn't make me feel like I was broken. TARC is a safe and caring place for anyone seeking sobriety and recovery. The 3-day Family Weekend is especially meaningful and unique—staff like Sara, Andrew, and Tony provided excellent educational sessions, while the time spent together strengthened family bonds in a deep way.
Our loved one has now moved on to a sober-living home in another state for career-related reasons. While we wish he had chosen to stay longer and then continue with TARC’s sober-living program, which we understand is also very strong, we remain deeply grateful for the foundation TARC helped him build.

Amazing place......if you have a loved one struggling with addiction, call them today! My son attended 4 months and is now at their sober living house. The staff is like family to him! They truly care about their patients and the families. It is a wonderful place.

Absolutely amazing team there. And then when you move over to Beaches, Elizabeth is the best therapist, constantly advocating and fighting for us..and the house techs Jennifer, Dawn and Sydney truly care and help with any and all that you need.
