I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the support and guidance I've received from your team. Your dedication to helping me navigate my journey has been invaluable. The resources you provided, like insights into the DSM-5 and ICD-10 codes, as well as the encouragement to pursue my own research, have profoundly impacted my growth and understanding.I also want to share some feedback to help improve the experience for others. It would be beneficial to regularly review the treatment plan during visits to ensure we stay on track and understand our goals. Moving forward, I've realized the importance of having clear standards of care and seeing the treatment plan upfront. This helps set expectations and ensures a collaborative approach to care.Thank you for being part of my journey. Your compassion and support have been crucial in helping me find my path, and I now have a clearer understanding of what I seek in my healthcare journey.

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is.
All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do.
Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours.
I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on.
All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.

TARC is a safe and caring place for anyone seeking sobriety and recovery. The emphasis on healthy eating and fitness training is a powerful part of the program and will leave a lasting positive impact on each individual. You should check out the Savannah VA Clinic if you’re seeking therapeutic support for current or ongoing mental health needs like substance use disorder. They can also help you take care of primary medical care needs alongside specialty services. They’re in the southwestern part of Savannah within Chatham County, Georgia. Integrated Substance | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I recently started receiving primary care at the Savannah VA Outpatient Clinic after having previously utilized the BNH location in Beaufort.
So far, in my experience the level of care has been superlative. The facility itself is clean and modern. The staff have all been top notch. The doctors, nurses, lab techs, and support personnel have all been courteous and competent. They genuinely and sincerely seem to care about their patients.
When's the last time a doctor called you personally at 1730 on a Friday afternoon to give you a non-emergent update on lab results? For me it was yesterday. That level of personal care is what I would expect from an elite private practice, not a government run clinic. I did not see that coming. Five stars all day long. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people.
Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Carter and her wonderful assistants, Shannon and Regina, who made my husband’s very first VA visit outstanding. After his two years of service in Vietnam, we’d avoided the VA because of horror stories—but today changed everything.
The building was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left feeling grateful and impressed. I’d give them a 10/10 if I could—and that’s saying a lot, because I don’t hand out glowing reviews easily.

This facility needs to be investigated by the state. I was taken there after hitting a breaking point with post partum depression. I would have been better off at home. Most of the nurses were dismissive and uncaring, and the facility is downright disgusting. When I arrived I was told I couldnt have my glasses because they were broken on the ear piece and have a sharp piece. Fair enough. After my husband brought contacts (something they told him he could do) they held them downstairs before bringing them to the unit. Then they told me I couldnt have them for safety reasons. They finally acquiesced and let me have them when they remembered why I couldnt have my glasses. Speaking of thing being held, they also held my breast pumps downstairs after my husband brought them. They are wearable, with no cord. So, no danger to anyone. They were finally brought up once the physician realized they were being held. I was 3 months post partum and nusing. I was admitted at 3am. My husband was told at 8am that he could not bring the pumps until 12. I did not get them until 2pm. To say I was extremely encouraged is an understatement. I pumped 20 oz in that first sitting after getting there. In addition to with holding my breast pumps they also withheld care. I arrived at 3am. As i was doing intake paperwork, I was told the psychiatrists got to the units at 8am and that i could not be admitted till then. I slept on a cot on the floor of what obviously used to be an office. I stayed there till 1130am. When I was finally brought to the unit, I was told the psychiatrists and doctors had already been given their patients for the day and I wouldn't see anyone till the next day (even though I was supposedly held downstairs because I needed a psychiatrists to evaluate me for admission). When I expressed that I had been told I would see someone that day, I was told that sometimes the downstairs staff will tell people that to keep them calm. I expressed that that is EXTREMELY unprofessional. On nurse rolled her eyes, they other tucked in his teeth and walked away. When I said that a little empathy would go a long way, the nurse who rolled her eyes said, "I am empathetic. Im here talking to you. I don't have to do that." Later, when my pumps arrived, I was told I would not be able to see my husband or daughter as I thought i would be able to. When I cried the nurses said, "why are you crying? Crying isn't going to help you." One nurse even threatened to have the doctor give me an injection if I didnt stop crying. When I told the doctor the next day, he was appalled and agreed that crying is a perfectly normal response to being told you can't see your baby when youre 3 months pp. Additionally, later on in the day of my admission, when I was finally able to put in my contacts. I realized there was something that looked like mystery body fluid on the mattress of my bed. I thought, "surely im wrong and its just a stain on the material. But let me wipe it with a wet napkins just to be sure." To my horror it actually started to come up along with hair that was impeded in it. When I showed the nurse, she said, "well why didnt you clean it?" I asked it the rooms were not cleaned between patients. She admitted that custodial had probably not had a chance to clean the room between the person being discharged from it and me being admitted to it, because "that happens sometimes." When I pointed out that that was disgusting, and that when I worked at a hospital, that would have never been allowed, she was quicker to cut me off and point out that they aren't a hospital. I asked if she would be ok sleeping in that bed if she were in my shoes, she said, "if I were in your shoes I would, because it would be the only thing available." These are just a few examples of the horrible treatment at this facility.

Thirst people are dishonest and manipulative. They falsified medical records in order to receive more money. They do not give patients clues of anything they sign. They gave me another patients recirds and claimed to report their mistake which they never did. There inpatient and outpatient programs are exactly the same and patients eligibility is based solely on how the can make the most money. Their patient advocate works for sunspire and does nothing to represent clients. It’s a money making business that doesn’t care about patients. I went to the Lake City emergency department with acute pain in lower back. from triage and treatment the staff was wonderful, personal and caring. even security opened the door for us. The doctor and nurse treated me and was released quickly. The nurse, Paige, was very observant watching me while I attempted to stand and walk. She stopped by the room and talked with us on different subject. This is my first visit to a VA emergency room and they made us very comfortable. Eventhough you don't want to visit the emergency room, I hope future visits will be this pleasant.

Saint Augustine, Florida | SMA Healthcare in St. Augustine, Florida, offers help to individuals in St. Johns County who are struggling with substance abuse, addiction or mental health issues. They have mental health treatment programs for children from age 5 and older, adolescents and adults. Their various outpatient substance abuse treatment programs are for youth and adult | Programs Payment Options | I needed a specific therapy called EMDR due to traumatic incidents. I had difficulty finding a therapist with the licensing to perform EMDR at a reasonable price. However here at SMA my therapist Miss Nicole was able to do exactly that, and thankfully they offered a sliding fee scale, so it was affordable. After I finished my therapy with Nicole, for the first time in my entire life , I no longer had intense suicidal urges and tendencies to self harm. If it wasn’t for SMA I wouldn’t have been able to get the help I desperately needed. I will forever be so grateful towards everyone here at SMA, you all truly helped save my life.

I switched over here from the Palatka office. Much more friendly clean environment and down to earth with patients and they are about the patients and not just here for a paycheck like the Palatka office.

Metamorphosis literally saved my life.
I was court ordered to be at meta through drug court. The rules and 'tattling' is very contradictory to what addicts are used to. The purpose is to learn to hold other accountable for their actions. AA and NA did nothing for me. Bridgehouse did nothing for me. Meta was the only place to recognize what was causing me to use and address that.
I graduated in 2012. I am still clean. Almost 9 years now.
Recovery is different for everyone but hold on to the 'keeping secrets' and 'not snitching' behaviors of my using life wouldn't have helped me get this far.

I didn’t like the process when I first arrived. Holding each other accountable seemed a lot more like snitching or tattling than anything helpful. I felt like many things seemed conflict inducing at first for sure. I soon realized I was being provided a structure to implement better decision making during my time there and with that acquiring tools to take with me after leaving treatment. There’s nothing crazy about anything there in my opinion. The rules are the rules and there are consequences if you break them. They provide everything you need and then some. The staff is wonderful and really care about everyone there whether it’s voluntary or court ordered (majority were voluntary when I left a month ago). I needed to stay longer but had to leave due to circumstances at home that had to be addressed. I’ve been to treatment many times and I feel Meta has given me the very best chance to stay clean.I am a tough critic especially towards things that are stopping me from doing what I want. Meta is different for everyone but personally it’s the first place I would recommend to anyone.
