I was at Design Recovery for 2 months. Design showed me the way to live a sober fun life again. When i left there i had all the tools to be a productive member in society. From the owners(Chris,Jason and Dave) to all the amazing therapists i felt LOVE AND RESPECT BY ALL!! The time and effort that they all put in each and every day to give you tools you need to leave there is beyond anything I could have dreamed of! Ive been in several different rehabs and Design is the one that put me in place to be an amazing Dad and husband while also being able to hold a job and do fun things again while sober. I still stay in touch with Design because when you leave there they ALL are still in contact with me to make sure im doing well and ate there if i need them. Design makes you part of their family the minute you walk through the door.
I recommend Design Recovery to anyone that wants people to truly care about you and your recovery and puts you in a place to only succeed when you leave.
Thank you Design Recovery

Design recovery has been an absolutely fantastic experience through and through. I would highly recommend this place to anybody that is serious about their recovery. The difference between this place and others is a parent the second you walk through the door, their approach on recovery is absolutely fantastic. All of the staff are absolutely amazing there and genuinely care about your well-being, Jason is extremely involved in everybody’s recovery process and runs an amazing program. You can expect to do a multitude of fun outdoor activities as well, including disc golf, Pickleball, surfing, parks, day trips on a boat, and groups on the beach. All the facilities and live in houses are extremely well maintained, and I had an extremely positive experience with all clients in the program. They help guide you through the process and will help you find a sponsor and take you to outside meetings every single day. You can tell that Jason started this program for all of the right reasons and because he genuinely cares about each and every client, and they will go above and beyond to make sure that you were successful in your recovery. This is the first place I would recommend to anybody looking for a lasting recovery and I’m extremely thankful I found this place and for my time there!!

I am glad that my experience will not happen to other patients. The therapist are great, the doctor is amazing, everyone there is kind. Wekiva Springs Outpatient Center if only the Wekivn the other hand compared to the hospital was very helpful to me. You were treated with respect and showed compassion. The group sessions were great as you got to share your thoughts with others who had the same experiences as you. You could talk very freely amongst each other so you didn't feel like you were in this alone. If my insurance company would have approved more sessions I'd still be a patient there today. If only the hospital was as professional.

Adult men and women can participate in a specialized continuum of care for addiction, dual diagnosis, eating disorders and | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was just bragging about Lakeview and pointing a friend in this direction, and i was shocked to see even one negative review.
Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive.
The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong.
If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing.
I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works.
Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that,
Thank you, Lakeview.

I often joke with my husband, if New Season sold a t-shirt I would wear it. I came here to say the same thing I happily see many other people have said. "This place saved my life!" Not just myself, but my spouse as well. I used to be homeless. I used to be a junkie. I have been so many different things in my life, however, I am no longer either of those. When I came into new season for the very first time I was alone, sweating, shaking, and so so sick. I had missed the intake hours by about 20 mins and I remember feeling so defeated knowing I missed it and would have to go use again to feel better. Tears started streaming my face and the director saw me, introduced himself and personally saw to it that I was able to do my intake and get the medication I needed right away. From then on I met so many wonderful people who have worked under the roof of new seasons Jax, formerly metro Jax for those of us who have been around a while. I can promise you that if you are stuck in that same cycle of out of control addiction and do not know what to do, just give them a call and ask some questions. Work this program the way it is intended and you can get your life back. Going to new season was the best choice I ever made. I am in a place I thought not possible. Thank you New Season.
I would also like to put on here, just for the feedback of new season, the old director Shawn/Sean is a very special person and we all miss him dearly, we wish him the best. Personally, myself, I wish I could thank him with his work regarding grant funding, this has helped so many of us after the cut of the healthcare credits last year. Lindsey Gainey will also be greatly missed and was a gift from the lord, this woman helped me at some of my very lowest points. Special shout out to my current counsoler Beth, who is wonderful! I could not ask for a better counsoler and would be devastated if I ever lost her. Ashley Brown, one of the finance officers is always there to answer my questions and ease my mind when it comes to insurance or dosing payment questions, she's amazing. Last but certainly not least, a special thanks to Kenya, who is so hardworking, caring, and pious. They all deserve a huge round of applause and frankly a raise. While I'm at it I will give praise to the nurses in the dosing windows who are the true unsung heroes when I show up 30mins before close to pick up 13 take homes, I am eternally grateful.

Edit: I ended up back for a different reason and I have more now to say and would honestly increase my star rating if I could.
I personally am writing this after leaving recently. The professionalism was maintained by the entire staff under the duration of my visit. Which while wasnt where I needed to be fell onto me for a lack of appropriate paperwork. And while I witnessed this staff not crack or break during what I would consider was an extremely stressful couple of days for all of them, (the jobs difficult let’s be honest) not only was everything handled so ever appropriately I would say some staff went above and beyond to ensure all patient needs and concerns were met. If I were ever in a position where myself or a loved one would need to be entrusted under the care of someone seeking help, I would say yes to them. And if I can remember some names I would say Felicia, Alexis, Jada, Richard, Austin, the Clinical Director, Christina, there were too many names so I apologize but from the Past two days please if anyone sees this, they all Deserve any level of recognition from the professionalism under the circumstances they were adapting to around the clock. Even the Physicians professionalism and understanding and urgency. Now I will not be coming back maybe for some outpatient family therapy or whatever “NAMI” is. The place continues to improve yet somehow has a bad rap.
Past post: I came here voluntarily because I drank a lot fully triggering some heavy anxiety. Upon coming to and waking up I was in a lovely unit I think 600? With a taper in my system I was seen by a medical doctor and psychiatrist in a timely manner and given some new appropriate medications to help with alcohol cravings and an ssri. I thoroughly did enjoy my stay and the staff was wonderful from day to night shift. All the people were kind to me and the other patients and extremely helpful. There were plenty of activities planned in a timely manner throughout the day and the staff also keeps you informed of who called for you. If necessary I’d recommend this place as for me I won’t be going back and moving forward with a new perspective. Thank you to everyone in my unit 600 stay that helped me and answered my questions.

Edited review done on 1/7/26*...If you have seen my previous reviews, then you know that this place has a history of having super long wait times, really bad Program Directors, and a lack of corporate support. However, If I can report the bad, then I can also report the good. We got a new director and she has been phenomenal, especially when she's compared to some of the prior PDs, and I have no complaints about her. She has stuck with her agenda and it's clear that it involves improving the client's experience on a day to day basis. The holidays were rough but since then they have hired more nurses who started after the first of the year, so the wait times are much shorter (they were over an hour and they're around 10-15 mins, now. The clinic has improved immensely but it still feels like it is overwhelmingly overcrowded for it's size, which makes it nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone when you call. However, I can live with those things a lot better than having to wait an hour every time I go. I would still recommend going to a different clinic, if it's at all possible, but for different reasons than I did in the past. Now, it's just because the clinic still seems overcrowded but pls don't hesitate to come here if you don't have a choice or if the choice is this place or getting high. As always, the nurses at the window are top notch human beings and they're some of the best around. I truly appreciate them and their patience. Good luck and God bless

This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. This place has helped me alot, especially after going through what I have. Give it a chance and open yourself up. They might push you yes, but you can't make progress in 8 weeks if you don't talk or try to participate.

In May- July 2024 my daughter received 12 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy three times a week at HCA Orange Park Behavioral Health. I must admit that I was skeptical at first as a retired RN and former patient at the Mayo Clinic until I personally met the staff. From the Receptionist, Tech, Therapist, and the Director Heather who all reassured me that they would all support and care for my precious daughter during her holistic healing journey. And they all did exactly that!!! She completed her group therapy with the tools she need in moving forward in hope in her quest for wellness and in wholeness!!! Heather a special applause to you for your honesty, empathy, support, concerns, compassion, understanding and professionalism during this challenging time!!! May God continue to bless you, your healing ministry at HCA, staff, and clients as you love, serve and care for God’s Children♥️🙏🎚️🦅🌹

Cynthia Clark is really helpful therapist---Breanna and Emmanuel good for med management/Psychiatry. I have been a patient for 15 years and they have helped me to see that I am not my diagnosis, but I do have a diagnosis. My dad and I didn't want to believe that I was severely mentally ill at first, but the more I accepted my illness as reality and my new normal, the more that the Drs and counselors are able to help me live a better quality life and still function as normally as possible. I see my diagnosis as a blessing in that it helps me to learn more about myself and in the process, help other people going through the same thing. Sometimes healing is a process and does not happen instantly, but I am able to cope better with all of the tools and support that I am receiving from family, friends and medical staff. God bless ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏💕💕

My husband and I just got transferred to this location. It is so much nicer and easier than their Carmichael location. It's drama free you don't see and hear clients cussing each other. Im so glad to be at the Orange Park location.
