Talk about a place that was sorely needed in Jacksonville Beach! The men who own this amazing facility are all about helping the next sick and suffering alcoholic and addict! Their staff I snot only professional, but loaded with experience in the field! Design Recovery is out here offering so many the solution through a design of living! Thank you guys for opening Design Recovery and carrying the message that we do recover!

I’ve been to four other rehabs in the past, and I can honestly say Design Recovery is by far the best place I’ve ever been. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. What really stood out to me is that the program is holistic based and 12 step based, which I truly appreciated, it focuses not just on recovery, but on healing the whole person. Another thing that made a huge difference for me is the staff. Most of them are in recovery themselves, and that meant everything. When someone has walked the same road you’re on, through addiction, struggles, and rebuilding their life, you can feel the authenticity. It gave me a lot more respect for them and made me want to listen, follow direction, and actually apply what I was learning. As an ex junkie, crackhead, and alcoholic, I never thought I’d be able to turn my life around. But today I’m sober, with my sobriety date being 2/8/25, and I give a lot of credit to Design Recovery for helping me get here. This isn’t just another rehab, it’s a place of real change, run by people who genuinely care and know what it takes to rebuild a life. If you’re looking for a place that goes beyond the basics and actually invests in your recovery, I highly recommend Design Recovery.

Dempsey is one of the best addiction treatment centers I've experienced. Their approach to recovery was unique and effective, and I'm now living a healthier, happier life. Highly recommend them!

I had a very positive experience during my hospital stay. The surgery itself went smoothly, and afterwards the doctors were extremely informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer my questions. The anesthesia team was wonderfully calm and reassuring while preparing me, which made a big difference in easing my nerves. The nurses provided truly incredible care throughout my recovery. They were attentive, compassionate, and always ready to help with even the smallest needs. Their kindness and professionalism gave me comfort and confidence every step of the way. I’m deeply thankful for the way they looked after me—it meant so much during a difficult time. Overall, I felt well cared for at every stage, and I’m grateful to the entire team for making my stay easier and more positive than I could have imagined.

This is for the Baymeadows location, as it's the one I have experience with. The staff are very accommodating and professional. The counseling I received was more than I ever expected. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Ron Cipriano & Associates Counseling, the staff there are always very pleasent and very professional group. Sometimes when you first walk in there and your first point of contact IS Miss Melissa , you start to feel better already . She has a very nurturing way about her . Makes me feel like I'm with friends . I haven't been coming here too too long, but I'm glad I did. They have already helped me so much ,they have no idea. I'm lucky to have found Ron Cipriano office.

After 20 years of attempting to fight a seemingly losing battle, the Recovery Keys program made it possible for me to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. This program saved and changed my life.

I needed a specific therapy called EMDR due to traumatic incidents. I had difficulty finding a therapist with the licensing to perform EMDR at a reasonable price. However here at SMA my therapist Miss Nicole was able to do exactly that, and thankfully they offered a sliding fee scale, so it was affordable. After I finished my therapy with Nicole, for the first time in my entire life , I no longer had intense suicidal urges and tendencies to self harm. If it wasn’t for SMA I wouldn’t have been able to get the help I desperately needed. I will forever be so grateful towards everyone here at SMA, you all truly helped save my life.

I switched over here from the Palatka office. Much more friendly clean environment and down to earth with patients and they are about the patients and not just here for a paycheck like the Palatka office.

Having been misdiagnosed with the concerns of my forefathers, I've found that I was a test subject to this place. They are so understanding as they recognize that people are individuals and differ from their predecessors in many ways. I enjoy excelling in my work with them to help others to know that they are not alone. Being perfect isn't easy so this place helps to give you an imperfection or two. 😂

Very kind and helpful staff

Don’t listen to the other reviews MHRC is a great place. The staff are super friendly. They’re great at de-escalating situations and keeping problems to a minimum they understand different kinds of people and they understand how to talk to people. They’re very good at recognizing how you feel in that moment And they know exactly what to say. Everybody is human we all messed up so we can’t expect the staff to be perfect but I will say they are definitely in my top 10 cause I’ve been to a few since I was a child And trust me I’ve been to some bad ones, but MRC is definitely like 4 Especially with the audition of Miss Allison, she’s been Taking care of me since I was like 16 And their doctors & Techs They’re great. I don’t know man I might just be high LOL But I’m leaving for Oregon to do job course soon And I truly believe that if MHRC had Not saved my life in the way they did. I would not be here. I would not be in this situation. I would not be prospering the way I am right now so please If you are considering inpatient outpatient, whatever take me to consideration that their staff is extremely friend And remember everybody’s human, but they do a great job at what they’re supposed to do God bless

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is. All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do. Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours. I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on. All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.

My grandson go their 2 times a week. He always say its better now, I like the lady that always call to remind to come. She is so nice, she always say look forward to seeing you. She been there about 4 months, my daughter like when she come there see talk to her, She seems so nice and kind. Thank you.

I have to say in defense of tradition house that Luke's recent post was in retaliation for him being told to pack his stuff and go, everything he said in his review was a lie and a complete fabrication. You're really saddens me how someone could sink so low as to try to tarnish the good reputation of tradition house. I believe it is the best and always has had the reputation of being the best sober House in Jacksonville. It is well-run, clean, comfortable and a safe and stable environment to rebuild your life. Humility and gratitude are key ingredients to a New Life. Hopefully Luke will get it one day! You know as they say, hurt people hurt people".

It is a great place to start over

The main strength in this treatment facility are the prevention program options that are available. Recovery and sobriety are not a one program fits all type of success story. Each client can take part in a program that is specific to what they may need to work on. This treatment facility also reinforces many life skills and general recovery skills that reinforce their main program. The main weakness in this facility is that it is an older building.
