About New Season Treatment Center – Jacksonville

New Season – Jacksonville Metro Treatment Center is a drug and alcohol treatment center that supports adults with substance use disorders. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, New Season Treatment Center also provides valuable community resources, such as referrals and mental health services.

Addiction-related services at New Season – Jacksonville Metro Treatment Center include mental health assessments, counseling, outpatient programs, detox, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Mental Health Assessment and Counseling
Assessments help counselors to evaluate participants’ mental health for substance use disorder, the severity, and any co-occurring conditions. The information is used to create an individualized treatment plan, which may involve individual, group, and family counseling.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Outpatient is for individuals who need addiction treatment, but don’t need 24-hour care. Each outpatient program varies, depending on the severity of the participant’s substance use disorder. For example, those with mild addiction may attend a regular outpatient program, whereas those with more severe SUD, may attend an IOP, which requires participants to attend sessions several days a week. The program includes individual and group counseling, skills development groups, and aftercare.

Outpatient Detox
Detox uses medication in an outpatient program to help alleviate painful withdrawal symptoms using FDA-approved medications. Along with managing withdrawal symptoms, clients benefit from recovery education classes and peer support programs. Same day services are available.

Medication-Assisted Treatment for Addiction
The outpatient MAT rehab program includes behavioral counseling, support groups, and medication — like Suboxone — in an outpatient setting. MAT is appropriate for alcohol and opioid use disorders.

As a relative of Silas, a client of Ms. Regina. Ms. Regina is excellent in her unique energy . My relative sees her as blessed to be compassionate, proactive, nurturing, and good listening skills. Close to perfection of a human being. If I was a client, I hope and desire the same treatment as she did my family member. 5 stars does not provide enough justice in ratings. Therefore she deserves her recognition and praise. Well thank The Heavenly Father for giving us Ms. Regina.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills are the core skills you need for daily success. They can include self care, stress management, daily routines, and emotion control. Rehab treatment includes the development of these skills so you have the tools you need for long term recovery.

Exceptional Care and Diverse, Supportive Team. (To Each Department & every Individual involved in -In-Take- process) I recently transferred all my medical history from another state to this clinic in Florida, and I am beyond grateful for their tremendous support. Despite facing some network issues, the clinic's team went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. Their dedication and welcoming approach made a big difference for me. What truly stands out here is the team. It’s the most international medical team I’ve ever seen, with people from the United States, Colombia, Croatia, Romania, and many other countries. This diversity brings a special energy to the clinic—so colorful and motivating. The staff is not only co-living and cooperative but they work together brilliantly. It’s inspiring to see them handle things as a team, and it makes me feel lucky to be in their care. There were some challenges, like fax issues, but they managed to prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently. Their time management was impressive, and they handled each case with care. I have to say, this is the best team I’ve ever come across. They make entering the clinic and going through treatments much easier, even though it can be hard sometimes. Since I’m new to Florida and still learning about the insurance process here, I have already filed an application with ACCESSFL. I would greatly appreciate any support with the post-application process, just to make sure everything is on track. If someone could check in with me anytime soon, that would be a big help. I believe, with their support, I can beat this sickness. I am thankful and I truly hope that these amazing people are appreciated and recognized where they work. Their compassion and dedication are truly remarkable. P.S. I wasn’t in the best shape and can’t remember everyone’s names. After figuring out the names , I might just upgrade it FYi. :) Sincerely, I.D

Ms. Regina is the best counselor at New Seasons. From the day I started treatment, she has been nothing but helpful, considerate, compassionate, understanding and just all around pleasant to interact with. When I was going thru a difficult time, she gave me more of her time that she had to and I will be forever grateful to her. She has helped me become abstinate from drug use and encourages me to stay that way.
